John Nuttall and Amanda Korody, Loose Cannons or Lost Losers

(Updated June 2nd/2015.....As predicted, guilty!.....For shame on the RCMP...

Imagine if you had a child, a teenager, and you as a parent learned that your child was being wooed by online entities promoting ISIS or some other form of terrorism...

Would you as a parent lead your child on?..let him or her continue contact, encourage them to carry on with some crazy scheme or would you grab them by the ear and set them straight....There is no difference in this instance, Amanda and John were child-like fools....Congratulations Canada and the RCMP....You just spent $10`s of millions of taxpayers dollars to feather your resumes, you have not made us safer or wiser....Now these two idiots are going to waste away in prison for decades at an enormous financial cost)..June 2nd/2015...Grant G

 Written by Grant G

These British Columbia legislature wannabe bombers are unfortunately going to be found guilty of terrorism charges, this will result in prison sentences lasting decades and costing taxpayers $millions of dollars in incarceration costs.

There can be no other outcome with the way laws are written and how badly the RCMP and the Harper Government want to get a headline, a headline to advance their election gambit, a headline to reinforce their fear campaign.

To give you an example, a trafficking of marijuana/drugs charge, if one offers a person a marijuana joint, even for free, that is trafficking, if one gives someone marijuana, that too is trafficking, if one is rolling a marijuana cigarette out of a bag of pot, and if undercover officers in a sting operation ask, beg, plead for the joint roller to sell them a little bit of their supply, that too will result in a successful charge of drug trafficking..

To offer, to give, to arrange, to grant, to provide drugs even for free is still drug trafficking

What brought attention to John and Amanda, apparently they walked into a Mosque and asked for AK 47 assault rifles, they were chased out, and the Mosque called and informed the RCMP what had happened, ....These two miscreants, addicted to heroin, methadone and alcohol were not Muslims, not of an Islamic faith, they were lost souls, reports are out there that Amanda didn`t like the drab covering attire worn by devout Muslim/Islamic women, no indeed, Amanda Korody liked to show off her ample breasts, she took great pleasure in men taking notice of her body, why not, if you got it, flaunt it...

These drug addicted souls, once the RCMP latched onto them the game was afoot, instead of instantly arresting them, confronting their requests for AK47 assault rifles, instead of giving them a reality check they launched a Mr. Big campaign, at a cost of hundreds of thousands of $dollars, the RCMP encouraged them, assisted them and even helped them create a terrorist attack, the police provided these drug addicts with food, transportation, pressure cookers, all through this campaign the RCMP encouraged Nuttall and Korody to continue..

These disturbed on many levels individuals, mental, drugs, alcohol, social-economic position in life,....These troubled individuals could just as easily been convinced to steal identities, to engage in a get rich quick scam, defraud people and become rich, so rich they could lay on a tropical beach covered in coconut oil drinking pina coladas, these two persons could have been convinced to do anything, they were lost souls without direction..

Two drug addicted troubled souls suddenly found new friends(RCMP Undercover agents) treating them like serious well intentioned members of society, these agents provided food, drugs, transportation, money, and even more, these agents offered Amanda and John friendship..

I know many a person who got in trouble with the law and in a moment of rage...Wished the officer dead, people in trouble with the taxman thinking and wishing the CRA(Canada Revenue Agency) blew up, ....those denied unemployment insurance money, those denied Workers Compensation, those denied of a myriad of things they felt a legitimate right to...Those in a fit of rage after catching a wife, or husband in an adulterous affair, a parent being denied visitation rights, or spousal support, in moments of stress people can and do say things that would be considered a crime, or terrorism...

Criminal court where felons, even murderers get off through a technicality,  a search that finds incriminating evidence thrown out because the search deemed illegal, forgetting to cite an accused their rights, ....There are so many situations where regular people in a moment of rage utter or shout over-the-top threats...

What if authorities heard those threats and set up sting operations encouraging those individuals forward on their uttered threats, provided encouragement, finances, transportation and a means to carry out the deed..

Sane people, sober persons would calm down, angry wives and husbands would put down their weapons and forgive, or divorce or retaliate with their own affair, however, all bets are off when dealing with individuals living in a world fueled by liquor and heroin, living on the margins..

This whole sordid operation could have been nipped in the bud early on, yes the RCMP could have ran a sting operation to see if these troubled addicted souls were organized, part of a network, had followers, were in communications with terrorists around the world, then and only then would they have had legitimate cause to carry on..

Once the RCMP discovered that these lost souls were dirt poor drug addicts living on the margins of life the sting should have been canceled, the police should have arrested Amanda Korody and John Nuttall, locked them up, got them counseling, drug treatment, scared the bejesus out of them, let them rot in jail for 6 months, let them know they would be on a watch list and inform them that any indication they would become a future threat, pursued arms, pursued devices that could harm others they would be back in jail for another term of incarceration, only for longer..

That readers is what should have transpired, however, both Stephen Harper and at the time Christy Clark was looking for photo-ops, there is no doubt in my mind that premier Clark and prime minister Harper knew, were informed of the situation well before the arrest..

This whole Mr. Big operation stinks....There was a report that Amanda and John were actually arrested months before the July long weekend...And, how come mere days after the official arrest of Amanda Korody and John Nuttall were the media allowed into their rented basement suite and permitted to take pictures and snoop around, unescorted by the police, these photos weren`t forensic evidence gathering photos, this was the RCMP allowing the press in, allowing the press to promote, to place the "Story" on front pages from coast to coast...(and with an assist to Ron W)..

The first cut n paste below, the arrest file number deleted, and direct link to the article scrubbed from the internet....

"Two people accused in what the RCMP described as a plot to blow up the British Columbia legislature have both pleaded not guilty in a Vancouver court.
It was the culmination of an operation — Project Souvenir — that began in February 2013 after the RCMP’s Integrated National Security Enforcement Team got a tip from the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. On the 2nd of March 2013, John Nuttall was charged with “Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence”, and “Knowingly facilitate a terrorist activity”, Then on the 25th of June he was charged with “Possession of explosive substance” all these charges laid before the Canada Day Event. The photo to the right is a screen shot of Nuttall’s charges, File Number 198990 has now been Deleted from the Online Court Services"

Media access to Surrey terror suspects’ apartment squalor was illegal: civil liberties group

VANCOUVER – RCMP investigators had barely finished sifting through the personal belongings of a British Columbia couple accused of planning a Canada Day terrorist attack when reporters, photographers and camera operators descended on the two-bedroom basement apartment near Vancouver, eager to get a look inside.
The suspects’ landlords, who live on the main floor of the house in a residential area of Surrey, B.C., were all too ready to oblige, allowing a steady stream of journalists to document the messy squalor inside the suite.
John Nuttall and Amanda Korody were arrested on Canada Day and details of the plot were unveiled by the RCMP at a news conference the following day.
Images from inside the apartment — including posters and books featuring Arabic writing, prescription methadone bottles belonging to Korody and printed photographs — were soon beamed across the country, offering a glimpse into the lives of two suspected terrorists.
But a civil liberties organization and a tenants’ rights group are raising concerns about the fact that journalists were allowed in at all, suggesting the media tours violated tenancy and privacy laws.
“It’s illegal,” said Josh Paterson, executive director of the B.C. Civil Liberties Association.
“As far as we’re concerned, based on the information we know, it was illegal for the landlord to let anyone in or go in themselves.”
Paterson says provincial tenancy laws only allow landlords to enter suites with the permission of the tenant or in an emergency.
Provincial privacy laws also forbid anyone to enter a private dwelling without permission, he said.
“Just because you’re accused of a crime, it doesn’t mean that your landlord gets to have an open house,” he said.
Tom Durning of the Tenant Resource and Advisory Centre agreed
“These are rights,” he said. “Whether (the landlord) did it through ignorance — landlords should know that you just can’t walk in and expose these people and their house to public scrutiny.”
However, both the tenancy laws and the provincial Privacy Act would require the tenant to file a formal complaint or civil suit to claim their rights had been violated.
The Canadian Press was among the media outlets that toured the suite, sending both a photographer and a reporter to the apartment, where a landlord invited them inside.
“We believed the landlord had the authority to let us in and that we were there legally,” said Scott White, Editor-in-Chief of The Canadian Press. “We went in and reported on it because there is a public interest in Canadians learning who the accused are, and learning how they lived is part of that.”
There was a number of reporters, photographers and TV camera operators going in and out of the suite on Tuesday and Wednesday.
There was some indication that property had been moved around by some of the members of the media.
A Canadian Press reporter who was inside the apartment saw another journalist rifling through a box of photos, while a camera operator from yet another outlet could be seen arranging photographs before filming them. Other items in the apartment had clearly been moved throughout the day on Wednesday.
The landlord, who spoke on the condition that her name not be used, said the police officers who searched the apartment told her it wouldn’t be a problem to allow reporters in. She also said she called the provincial Residential Tenancy Branch to ask whether she could enter the apartment to clean it up, and she said she was told it would be OK to go inside.
“I have been here for 30 years, I have never seen this scenario before, I never know what to do,” said the landlord.
The landlord added she believed some reporters who were inside went too far.
“Some take too much advantage from this, because they see everything, photos — they should not do it,” she said.
Sgt. Peter Thiessen of the RCMP said he couldn’t comment on any conversations between the landlord and police officers at the scene.
“We completed our search and have no further interest in that suite, and what the landlord may be allowing has nothing to do with the RCMP,” said Thiessen.
“There’s nothing criminal, we have received no complaint in regards to unauthorized people being in that suite. Beyond that, it’s up to the media to decide whether they have the legal authority to enter that suite.”
Ross Howard, who teaches journalism at Langara College in Vancouver, said the case raises ethical questions about balancing the rights of Nuttall and Korody against the public’s right to know. He said it would clearly be wrong to break into the apartment, but in this case, the landlord invited the reporters inside.
“This one is a tough call — the public probably has lots of interest in knowing more about these people … and that kind of information might be possible to glean from going through some of the stuff in their apartment.
“But no doubt, the reporters were invading the privacy of people who have only been accused but not yet found guilty of anything. That’s the two sides of it, and I’m not 100 per cent sure which side to come down on."

Allegations that two Canadian citizens planned to explode homemade devices similar to the kind used in the Boston marathon bombing during Canada Day celebrations at the B.C. legislature in Victoria is shocking.
The horror of what might have happened to thousands of revelers who came to celebrate what makes this country great was mitigated only by news that police had thwarted the plot and detained two suspects.
The prompt arrest of Amanda Korody and John Stuart Nuttall is to be lauded.
What should not be praised however is the shocking behaviour of journalists who entered the apartment of the two suspects this week, rummaged through their private belongings, took photographs of those belongings and subsequently splashed some of those photos on the front pages of such news outlets as the Victoria Times Colonist, The Province, the Globe and Mail and the National Post.

The RCMP I believe allowed the media inside, pictures were beamed onto front pages across Canada, Vancouver Sun..Globe and Mail..National Post...How come, yes the media and RCMP are blaming the landlord for this happening, clearly any professional media would have gotten clearance from the police before entering, what the heck does yellow tape mean...This case was deliberately beamed around Canada, maximum publicity because this case stunk from high heaven from the very beginning, .....That above report about the media being allowed in, on almost every link to that information on Google leads to a dead page, again, clearly the authorities want this information about allowing media access hidden from public purview..

So here`s the deal, rather than scaring the bejesus out of John and Amanda, giving them 6 months to two years in jail to stew on things, set them on another path, they were encouraged, financed, fed, transported and manipulated....

And because of the way laws are written and interpreted, John and Amanda are guilty and going away to jail for decades at a cost of $millions in incarceration and court costs...

Need a little more, since posting this article my computer has been going crazy, blacking out,  freezing, looks like CSIS and spyware attack number 4 for me...

Scroll down on this site to the article "Accused in BC Terror Case Plead Not Guilty"
http://ecology.iww.org/aggregator/sources/215?page=6

West Coast Native News published a copy of the Surrey Court docket of March 02, 2014 showing that Nuttal and Korody had been arrested and charged in March not in July as the RCMP are now claiming.

I had a copy on my computer as well but it has been purged, not by me, from my computer and has mysteriously disappeared from the court site as well and all the places where it was shown.

The Royal Conservative Mounted Police are trying hard to make us believe they caught these hapless characters just in the nick of time on Canada Day at the BC legislature.

This whole charade is part of the harper fear campaign aided and abetted by his RCMP in a phony entrapment scheme and apparently we can do nothing to expose it for the sham that it is.

Oh indeed Ron....I added a little cut n paste to this posting, directs links to that article are gone, ..Links to articles about the media being allowed in to film their home, those pages are now blanked out too..

just to let you know, this site is under CSIS watch list, anyone who visits here will most likely be monitored too.

Full disclosure...

Millions of Canadians are now on watch lists..

Of course, these nutters were set up.

And now they're being rail-roaded straight into a scripted jail sentence in order to bring a neat little ending to this tainted narrative. Media, courts, police, and governments all pulling together.

Why?

Enemies are needed to justify the taxation for the proper feeding of their praetorian guards and other even more shadowy skull diggers keeping them safe.

If there are no foes, then create them out of whole cloth. Hope is dead; they rule by fear these days.

In wanting to lord it over of us, they do whatever their peevish little minds can came up with.

What they're down to now is faking terrorism, imposing austerity on the rubes, freeing up limitless credit for their cronies. and sparking up illegal warfare against anybody that won't do as they're bloody well told.

We're but one enabling act away from the full-scale relaunch of fascism.

When it really goes down, it won't be the first time a democracy has descended into tyranny.

Cheers

I too have wondered how 2 people like this, you know what I mean, would have any sense whatsoever on how to go about doing what they're supposed to have been doing. There is no way. Seems like it's a set up all the way.
Oh, is there an election in the air?

Pathetic and hard to watch on nightly news. How could anyone not see these people were so lost that someone made them or manipulated them into feeling important.
It was obviously taxpayer money that paid for their accommodation, purchases, gas, well everything it took to put this together. How could they have possibly done it on their own? Someone also kept them in drugs also throughout this?
There were laws broken yes but you really have to question by who.
The RCMP were obviously,by what I have seen, the masterminds of the whole scheme. Sad and an embarrassment to us all.

Everyone has a master...

I have no problem with the Mr. Big operation early on, determine whether or not these wasted miscreants were part of a group or network..

But as soon as the RCMP found out they were just doppy boobkabobs..end it..

Sad indeed, federal time, near $200 k per year combined to lock these clowns up, and for decades..

Good To hear from you Mr F

I too am glad to see you back. We need to all stick together and learn from Grant what is happening so we can stay on top of everything and Grant works very hard at doing this for us.

One thing I've learned from the computer is not to take anything personally. Grant thinks a lot of you as we all do and would never say anything harmful about you and he only meant his comment in general. He does not mean anything personal about you or anyone who comments on his blog. You are very up on things that are happening to us and all of your comments are excellent and we all learn from them too.

Again I say I'm glad you're back and so are a lot of other people.

All the best, Jean
