Birds of a Feather Flock Together?

That`s true, usually birds of a feather flock together, but sometimes there are exceptions, in fact sometimes even politicos on the opposite side of each other can spot the obvious bright light!

That is if they are honest with themselves.......Because as you know and as I have reported that the Baldrey`s, Palmer`s, Bill Good, Les Leyne, everyone of those paid Gordon Campbell pimps have been artificially promoting Carole James as a great NDP leader, they are all liars, they have been lying to the public for years about the NDP fiscal and social record,........

Now the paid stooges are lying to themselves!

Let me be perfectly clear, I am no fan of Bernard Von Schulmann or his web site BC Iconclast,  we are oil and water when it comes to policies on the economy the environment on social issues but.....

Bernard Von Schulmann gives honest and well thought out positions on a myriad of issues, Bernard Von Schulmann has weighed in on the Carole James leadership challenge, Bernard gave his honest assessment on Carole James and......

And after careful consideration Bernard Von Schulmann has officially endorsed for leader of the NDP........

John Horgan

And it was a well thought out article, there may be hope for you yet Mr. Schulmann!....Read Bernard Von  Schulmann`s great assessment here

You see folks, left, right, center, I don`t care what your politics are, but I can`t condone the deliberate lies foisted on the public by stooges in the media with financial ties to Government, the main stream media have been propping up Carole James for the wrong reason, this is being done to help the BC Liberals, they are nothing but a bunch of gutless pukes who haven`t got the cojones to speak their mind!.....The BC Liberals don`t deserve power, they have earned an 8 year term in the penalty box, with luck maybe even a  8 year prison term!

It might take a few months, it might take a week but eventually Carole James will realize that she must step down, move aside for someone else for the good of the Province and the desperate public.....

Palmer/Baldrey/Good/Sean Leslie, those stooges will never change, they have financial incentives to promote Gordon Campbell`s lying Liberals, Baldrey`s wife works for Campbell, Sean Leslie`s wife works for the public affairs bureau, Palmer has his marching orders, Bill Good...Bill Good is an economic racist, a Bilderberger, a believer in economic classes of British Columbians....

Bernard Von Schulmann and I are polar opposites when it comes to ideology, but we have one thing in common.......
We can both be honest with ourselves!

Grant, who is this Shluman guy? I've never heard of him. And according to your link he also says 'What does Carole James have going for her? There is no obvious and clear successor to her.'

That does not make much sense.

Anyone who has heard of or dealt with Carole James, knows instantly that she is unsuitable to be premier.

The Liberals are peeing in their pants if a more robust persons leads the NDP in the next election, while at the same time many people in the NDP are peeing in their pants with the thought of James running for a third time.

Carole, depart I say. You have sat there too long for what good you have done. Depart I say - in the name of god go!

Grant,

Yeah ... I talk, now and then, about the cruel stupidity of political parties, with everybody standing around shouting at each other "I'm better than you! ..." ad infinitum.

The real issue facing British Columbia is that we're all in this BC political mess together. However ... we will have to get together somehow, sometime to focus on healing an angry population and a wounded province.

No dictators, thank you very much.

So what do you think ... do we need an Unparty? A no-frills party? Maybe go back to the beginnings for a look-see at the good intentions which fostered most political parties?

I think that's what made the TV coverage of the Chilean miners so fascinating ... the image of all the players willing to face an impossible task together ... all equal, hopeful, and caring ... nobody whining about "Ooo, how much is this costing to save a few workers?" They were united, and got the job done. I don't even know the political party represented at the mine-site by Chile's president.

Coming as it did, when Gordo had hit a 9% popularity score, Chile sent the world a very enlightened message ... didn't it?

Meantime, here at home ... ??

In a shocking move, two of the three former B.C. government employees entered guilty pleas in B.C. Supreme Court in Vancouver Monday.

Dave Basi and Bob Virk, former ministerial aides, pleaded guilty to four counts on the indictment.

Aneal Basi, a cousin of Dave Basi, had charges of money-laundering against him stayed by special prosecutor Bill Berardino.

The pleas put an end to a case that began nearly seven years ago with the police raid on the B.C. Legislature in December 2003.

BC citizens have always been sure, how Campbell's corrupt sale of the BC Railroad, would play out. Campbell had to stop the trial, very quickly. The witnesses, coming up would have put Campbell in prison. Campbell told the Vasi/Birk trio, they would be taken care of, if they kept their mouths shut. Campbell should have been thrown in prison, the minuet he fraudulently sold the BC Rail, it was not his to sell. Campbell should have been the one on trial, every BC person knows that. The corrupt trial, was held, in a corrupt court, presided over, by a corrupt judge, who, sanctioned, brain dead witnesses. Ding dong, De Jong, refuses to allow a further investigation, into, Campbell's corrupt sale of the BCR. That says it all, Campbell is guilty. If Campbell is out, we must stop any of, the BC ministers, to take Campbell's place. They have showed the citizens, they are no better than Campbell. They supported that monster. BC is the most corrupt province in Canada. The BC Liberal ministers, will just carry on, Campbell's legacy of lies and deceit.

I wish people could split the idea of good governance from partisan politics. We all benefit when there are good people active in the major parties. A strong opposition makes the government better and a strong opposition is better suited to being government.

The reality is that we change governments and we get parties in power from different sides of the political spectrum. We will all have governments in power that we are ideologically opposed to but that does not mean should not want them to govern as well as they can.

On no level am I convinced that Carole James will make a good premier of BC and furthermore, I am not convinced the NDP caucus is ready to be the government. I find this depressing and sad. I also think it is bad for the public not to have confidence that there is a government in waiting in the official opposition.

In the run up to 2001 there was a confidence in the Liberals and Gordon Campbell. The same can be said in the run up to 1991 with the NDP and Mike Harcourt. This is not around this time around.

I agree with some of your points Mr. Schulmann...

However, having confidence or not with the NDP is irrelevant....

We as a Province can`t move forward until the current crop of corrupt criminals are removed from office...Even you Bernard recognize the sleaze and stench emanating from the BC Liberals...A bunch of spineless jellyfish BC Liberals, ALL of THEM...

The BC Liberal mottos.....

"We only cheat when we can`t win"....And

"Truth is not important, only victory"

Have a real good day Mr. Bernard Von Schulmann

Is this fellow born in Canada or Germany. What is his families history - does it go back to the Third Reich?
