Jane Thorthwaite, the shameful drunk driving Jane Thorthwaite is being tossed from the party as well, Thorthwaite not only admitted being drunk while driving, she not only apologized to her constituents for risking the public`s safety by driving pissed during the Olympics, but then she plead not guilty after admitting her guilt, a typical lying BC Liberal....Jane Thorthwaite has been told to look for employment elsewhere....

Her first day in office on March 14 was spent mostly in the public eye. But it included a 15-minute meeting with the deputy premiers council - deputy ministers from across government - after the swearing-in.
The next day she had a meeting with Liberal caucus chair Ron Cantelon before attending her first caucus meeting, a three-hour session.
Clark spent three-and-a-half consecutive hours making "protocol phone calls" on her fourth day in office, and followed those telephone calls with a half-hour private session with Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson.
Phil Hochstein and Kurt Krampl, of the Independent Contractors and Businesses Association, got a private half-hour meeting with the premier in her second week in office.
There was also a 90-minute session with the First Nations Leadership Council that week, along with a twohour health briefing with some senior civil servants.
Clark also had 15 minutes with business leader Brad Bennett. Three weeks later, at the Liberal convention in Penticton, Bennett was introduced as a member of the party's election readiness committee.
Clark's schedule for Monday, April 4, is fairly typical.
She had an hour-long cabinet committee meeting, via "telepresence."
Then Clark recorded a video for the Premier's Excellence Awards with Counterpoint Communications for an hour.
After lunch, she had a 15-minute meeting with Liberal MLAs Jane Thornthwaite and Mike Macdonald, a 15-minute interview with a Ming Pao reporter, an unspecified briefing and then a meeting with Liberal MLA Donna Barnett

Those are not the only problems for the Liberals....If  the Boston Bruins win the Stanley cup Blair Leckstrom will have a problem, already considered a party rebel and individualist, Blair already quit the party once before the Stanley cup,  the initial Christy Clark/Blair Leckstrom showdown over the Yale treaty, Leckstrom folded like a cheap suit, Leckstrom`s balls shriveled up as he turned tail and ran, rumours are rampant that Blair Leckstrom will be running for the John Cummins BC Conservative party, ...Leckstrom also has his eyes on the Federal Conservative party.

Bill Bennett has turned into a whimpering fool, Bill Bennett won`t go anywhere or to any other party because, because nobody wants him, Bill Bennett the racist is hoping that if he paints nail polish on Christy`s toe nails, rubs enough lavender on Christy`s feet he will be granted a reprieve....Good luck with that Billy Bennett.

Barry Penner is also contemplating running for the Federal Conservatives if a spot opens up, Barry Penner, despite his lack of brains, Barrty Penner isn`t making phony excuses for the lack of court sheriffs and security in our justice system, Barry Penner has been honest by saying...

"There is no money for more sheriffs, the Province is in deficit, the province is running massive deficits"

Not your typical obfuscation from a sitting politician....Barry Penner has irked Crusty Clark to no end.

Even today, Ben Meisner who is aware of how low the BC Liberals are polling, is aware of the impending HST defeat in the referendum has come out with a stark warning to Christy Clark in his latest opinion piece,

"Don`t call a fall election, wait until the next scheduled in 2013"

So not only is the Province of BC broke, not only have the voters seen the BC Liberals for what they are, LIARS...But, the party is not united, the George Abbot side of the party can`t stand Christy Clark, Mike De Jong has no respect for Christy clark, there are more defections coming to the BC Liberals, the party is in disarray, you will notice that Crusty Clark won`t even use the name Gordon Campbell, ...Gordon Campbell is no longer the former premier, Campbell is now only Crusty Clark`s "Predecessor"......Crusty can`t say Gordon Campbell`s name anymore, in fact I have a personal challenge for you faithful readers, ...Let me know if you ever hear Christy clucking Clark use the name Gordon Campbell either in speech or print....

And not only that, Christy doesn`t even use the name Liberal anymore, she now refers to the party as a..

"free enterprise party"

Right now, the BC Christy Gordon Campbell Clark Liberals are polling very low, they are at a measly 35% support..Their core voters.....

Don`t expect an election call anytime soon, Christy Clucking Clark is now hated by most women in the Province, some men may still be voting with their penis but even that number is shrinking, Crusty Clark is like that one episode on Jerry Seinfeld show about "Two-face"....Gerry Seinfeld`s one time girlfriend who looks downright scary under certain lights, ....Christy Clark is BC`s two-face, without her large make-up crew she is one scary looking B....Gawd help anyone waking up to that egotistical mouthpiece.

For Clark’s unwillingness to cosy up to Campbell at a charity event is illustrative of the soured relations between the current and past B.C. Liberal leaders.
Distance-taking is standard operating procedure for leadership changes within unpopular parties. But Clark and Campbell have taken it beyond matters of policy and style, veering into the realm of the personal and the petty.
He recently passed on a golf fundraiser where she was to be in attendance, much to the relief of the organizers.
Then there was that grotesque spectacle at the Liberal convention in Penticton, when the party aired a commemorative video to its former leader and premier without the man himself being there.
Why did Campbell skip his own tribute? Some suspect he didn’t want to see her, some that she didn’t want to see him. I’d guess the feeling was mutual.
Campbell didn’t disguise his preference for Kevin Falcon as a successor. He’s probably stung, too, about some of the moves Clark’s made, like instantly reversing his long-standing refusal to raise the minimum wage.
Clark has let it be known that she regards him as having left things in a mess for her to clean up. Nor has she disguised the satisfaction she takes in abandoning parts of his legacy

Christy Clark Shuts Down BC Courts and Operating Rooms(updated at bottom)

These stories never stop, the complete and total incompetence of both Christy Clark and the BC Liberals, there are two ongoing shocking stories that again reared their ugly heads today...

4 courts rooms on Main street in Vancouver have been shut down again because of no court sheriffs, as you know Barry Penner, our useless Attorney General has laid off the equivalent of 34 sheriff positions because his ministry has no money, the Province just trained these sheriffs and already their jobs are gone, the Judge on the news today scolded the Provincial Government and lashed out with a harsh rebuke, the judge said and I quote...

Another frustrating day in provincial court in Vancouver, due to short staffing.

Case after case is being stood down with at least four courtrooms closed at 222 Main Street. As well, the courtrooms that are still open are waiting for court files to show up. It's all because the Sheriff's service is short staffed.

Judge Greg Rideout, clearly frustrated by the situation, told his courtroom the situation is unsustainable right now and for the next few days. He also says the situation demands attention from the Attorney General.

For the time being, cases involving people in custody are being given top priority

Court rooms all over the Province are shutting down with judges throwing up their arms in disgust, criminals are walking away scott free because the BC Liberals have gutted the court system, short sighted budgeting, incompetence on a grand scale, we have $7 million dollars for stick man ads but no money for sheriffs, there was $800 million dollars for a retractable roof but criminals walk free, .....4 court rooms closed, Barry Penner made the ridiculous statement on radio last week that....

"We now having roaming sheriffs that will move from court to court if needed" snip

And BC`s Chief Justice has had enough of these pathetic cuts amidst wasteful Liberal spending on roofs and Stickman ads

Well it appears like those roaming sheriffs got lost and couldn`t find their way to downtown Vancouver, how much are we $spending on flying and or driving sheriffs around the Province, are they buying carbon offset too from Pacific carbon trust...I think not, only our schools and hospitals have to pay those, not Encana gas or Lafarge cement, the incompetence is staggering and speaking of total disregard for the public`s safety and health...

Also on the news today,  anesthesiologists are screaming foul, there is a new out patient and operating center that has opened in Surrey, the Jimmy Pattison out patient and operating center, the facility has 2 operating rooms running, but...The Fraser health authority has no money to staff the new facility, so what this corrupt BC Liberal Government has done is....


Close down 2 operating rooms in the old Surrey memorial hospital and take that staff and open up 2 operating rooms in the new facility, another case of robbing Peter to pay Paul....The Surrey doctors and staff have called this BC Liberal move a..

"Shell Game"....

A group representing some BC anesthesiologists is slamming the provincial government, after the closure of more operating rooms at Surrey Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Roland Orfaly says the decision to spend 237 million dollars on the new Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre is a sickening waste of money because Fraser Health Authority doesn't have the cash to recruit additional anesthesioligsts to work there. That  means two anethesiologists from Surrey Memorial need to be transfered to the new facility, effectively shutting down two OR's.

"So, in effect...there's no more operating rooms open in Surrey." Orfaly calls the move a charade, designed to make it look like the province is adding new OR's when it's n ot

The game of spin and distortion never stop with these BC Liberals, so under Christy Clark we are closing badly needed operating rooms in Surrey and our courts have grind to a halt...So we have criminals being let go, cases being backed up  to the point that hundreds of cases are being thrown out from delays...

A judge on Wednesday slammed the provincial government for imposing cutbacks to the sheriffs service and suspended the trial of a man accused of a home invasion.
Following a decision by the government to slash the equivalent of 35 sheriff jobs, not all criminal trials have a sheriff present at all times.
B.C. Supreme Court Madam Justice Elizabeth Arnold-Bailey said that she was advised that judges and lawyers now have to decide whether to ask whether a sheriff should attend court.
“This is the first day in these courts when sheriffs are not available to be in court to ensure the safety and security of all participants in the trial and members of the public,” she said.
“There have been many instances when the sheriffs have acted quickly to preserve the decorum of the court and to deal with unexpected security problems.
“Their presence does much to diffuse tensions and helps to create an atmosphere of safety in which the trial then effectively runs often without any or further interruption.”
The judge said she found the situation “particularly ironic” given that she was hearing a trial in courtroom 67 at the Vancouver Law Courts — one of the most modern and expensive high-security courtrooms in the province.
She said it is inappropriate for judges and lawyers to play a role in determining security requirements because it creates a “reasonable apprehension of bias.”
“It is simply not appropriate for a judge to receive that information either on or off the record.”
She added: “In my respectful view the cutbacks to the sheriff’s service is short-sighted. It is also completely misguided and wrong in principle.”
The judge suspended the trial of Duck Yoon, who is accused of committing a home invasion in North Vancouver

So now we have court rooms closing around the Province, and we now have 5 closed operating rooms at Surrey Memorial hospital, today a group of Surrey Doctors called what the BC Government is doing a ..."Charade"

They also say opening up the new facility, the Jimmy Patterson outpatient and operating center a..

"Complete waste of money".....And I agree, how can this Government look themselves in the face, they`re playing games with courts, any new facility(as rare as they are) are being staffed by moving and robbing staff from existing facilities.

So much for Christy Clucking Clark`s "family first" platform....As long as families don`t need justice or surgeries, education or fair taxation...

What will it take, blood, assassinations, imprisonment, too many are prepared to lay down and concede on most issues but not this time, perhaps I am missing something, the BC Government speaks and addresses the citizenry of this free Province like we are prisoners, those opposed to hideous taxation are treated like we`re a vocal minority, radio voices and advertisers act as if millions of British Columbians have never seen the inside of a classroom....

Over 700,000 people signed the tax revolt petition, the Province has been ungoverned for two years now, we had an election two years ago, a presiding Government that lied about a $4 billion dollar deficit, a Government that lied about an incoming tax, lied about planning the tax well before the election.....I of course can prove the Government lied about planning the HST, not only have employees from the finance ministry admitted talking to Ottawa early in 2009 about the HST....But, have you ever heard of the BC Progress board, they are a group of Gordon Campbell political appointees, that`s right folks, Gordon Campbell invented the BC Progress board, they didn`t exist before 2001, Gordon Campbell appointed his friends in business to be the BC Progress board .......And guess what, in December 2008 the Gordon Campbell appointed group said this in their annual report....

Below is what Gordon Campbell`s BC Progress board said on.....December 12th/2008,  6 month before our 2009 election__________________________________________________________________________________________

"The most profound area for improvement to productivity, but also the most difficult to achieve, is in replacing the provincial sales tax with a value-added tax, preferably a harmonized goods and service tax administered by the federal government, such a change would significantly lower the marginal effective tax rate on investment and reduce distortions across sectors. Harmonization would face considerable challenges, not at least of which would be public opposition as a result of a shift of the burden from businesses to consumers. However, there are policy tools available to offset the disproportionate impact on consumers.


The current treatment of the provincial sales tax is a particular disincentive to invest in British Columbia. Evidence from the Atlantic provinces, which harmonized their sales taxes with the Federal goods and services tax, suggests that British Columbia could experience a 12.1 percent increase in trend M&E investment as a result of adopting a value-added tax. These results imply that adopting a value-added tax could result in M&E investment as a share of GDP in BC of 6.8% in 2007(as opposed to 6.1 percent), thus closing 70% of the M&E investment intensity gap between BC and the national average,(7.1 percent). The potential public opposition to this measure should not be under-estimated, however, and there could be a protracted adjustment period."

So we got sold down the corporate river for what?...."Could...Suggest...Imply".....And they strongly warned Gordon Campbell  of a public backlash in December 2008 and the lies that it wasn`t on our radar, there is no damn Government radar, man that phrase makes me sick, the big iceberg that sank the Titanic wasn`t on their radar either...

The Liberals lied and sold our railway for nothing, they covered up a farce corrupt trial, they paid off Liberal insiders and now they keep on lying about the HST, they are lying about lowering the tax, Christy Clark hasn`t stopped lying in years, she`s a foul mouthed liar, a gutter mouth and spoiled child, we have ads running right now, Government ads that lie, they use past tense and claim the HST is 10%, Falcon won`t stop lying, Christy Clark won`t stop lying and as one of my regular contributers pointed out....Who are they representing, who is the Government listening to....Do not people step in a voting booth and cast a vote, corporations don`t vote, where is our representation....I was reading comments from a story about the HST in Opinion 250, a Prince George based web news site, .....I think the commenter was Andyfreeze....Andy commented that in his entire life he had never seen any BC Government push so hard for something no one wants, he called it political suicide and I couldn`t agree more, for I too have never seen this type of propaganda before, ..Andy went onto say, what aren`t we really hearing about the HST, why won`t the BC Government let go.....

I go after Vaughn Palmer all the time, there is something funny going on there and I believe I have figured that one out too...For about 6 months after the BC Liberals introduced the HST Vaughn Palmer wrote against the HST, in other words Vaughn knew, Vaughn knew the tax was nothing but ideology, ideology Carole Taylor rejected,  Vaughn Palmer knew this tax would cripple the BC Liberals and he wrote stories opposing the HST....Now let`s be clear, Vaughn Palmer is a BC Liberal Pom Pom boy, he always has been, a Liberal I mean, what Vaughn Palmer was doing by writing against the HST was a warning to Government, Vaughn hoped the Government would take his advice and dump the HST but when it came clear to Vaughn that Gordon Campbell wasn`t backing down, the big business lobby had their hooks buried deep into the BC Liberals backroom, when Vaughn realized that the BC Liberals weren`t budging on the HST he had no choice but to assist in selling it.....Nice try Vaughn but no sale,....Even on the pathetic ledge show today on CKNW Vaughn Palmer and Baldrey admitted the HST referendum will scrap the tax, even Vaughn and Keith realize that a 15% point spread at the start of the referendum after about $15 million dollars in ads, on radio, on TV, in print, the Vancouver Sun, Global news, the economists, all those with vested interest in the HST have put up propaganda, false advertising, ads with lies, the spin, the bullshit and after all that there is a 15% percentage point spread if not more...78% of those in the North..60% of the interior...65% of all female voters throughout BC will vote YES to KILL the HST...Staggering numbers opposing the HST and still.....Why won`t the Government listen to the masses, the educated masses......What aren`t they telling us about the HST, how much money has the corporate world paid the BC Liberals for the tax.....What aren`t you telling us Liberals....

And those stooges at CKNW, Bill Good, Sean Leslie, Christy Clark, Michael Levy, Michael Campbell, Gord MacDonald, ....They disparage those opposed to the HST, they act as if we are diseased...Christy Clark while interviewing Chris Delaney last year on radio called everyone opposed to the HST Taliban....Christy Clark is acting as if we are a tiny minority, Bill Good is talking on air to radio listeners that are 70% against the tax..

And with all that industrial money attacking us "Taliban", the carpet bombing advertising, the lying false advertisements, the Jack Mintz lies, the Jim Dinning Lies, the Kesselman lies, 10`s of $millions of dollars up against a grass roots democratic majority of British Coumbians fighting with pennies, David versus an army of goliaths....

And with all that my friend Walter E had the city of Surrey illegally take down his anti-HST signs, Laila Yuile witnessed a Surrey by law officer throwing anti-HST signs deep into thick brambles, Chilliwak has sent their officers out to remove our signs, White Rock too...BC Liberal held ridings are tearing down signs, direct orders from Christy Clark to municipalities to remove every anti-HST sign,.....Who are you representing, what will it take, bloodshed, assassinations, Government buildings burnt to the ground, we are a Province of free people with free will, we are democratic, we are center left, we are lovers of Whales, of Salmon, we want clean water, clean air and we want honesty and democracy in our legislature.....

You lie on your high-priced ads, you paid Mintz to lie, revenue neutral, now it`s a $850 million dollar cash cow,  113,000 jobs in 10 years, now 22,000 jobs in 10 years, prices would come down, prices are up, we have lost 30,000 jobs since the HST came in.....And you send out Kevin Falcon to look us in the face and lie, this was after Colin Hansen looked us in the face and told his version of the lies, this is after a Gordon Campbell  televised 15% income tax cut that lasted all of two weeks....And today you Christy Clark say you have already completed negotiations with Ottawa to lower the HST in 2014....By chance when you were negotiating with Ottawa Christy did you negotiate what happens when we reject the tax....Why wouldn`t you negotiate both sides of referendum while in Ottawa...Who is your boss Christy Clark.....Is it David Mclean of CN Rail...Is it Patrick Kinsella...Is it Paragon gaming,....Is it David Hahn, who is your boss Christy Clark.....Here`s a clue....Your boss is those who have the ability to mark YES or NO...It`s those who can mark an X beside Adrian Dix`s name...An X beside John Cummins name...An X beside  Sal Vetro`s name...An X beside Jane Sterk...

So much power that if it didn`t rain for a year we would still have power to spare....In other words Gordon Campbell in one of his last ploys before he left stuck BCers with a dagger in the back, Vaughn Palmer went on to say that UNLESS that order of council is rescinded there is no way BC Hydro can proceed WITHOUT raising rates by 53% over the next few years!.....Absolutely shocking, there needs to be a criminal investigation launched against Gordon Campbell and the BC Liberal cabinet.!

So there you have it, the petty little child mind Gordon Campbell in a last gasp guaranteed revenge against us for rejecting him!

The show today was so sad, actually it was embarrassing, the first caller up was a man? named Sam who has endorsed the HST from day one, Sam has a direct line to Billy Good, but Sam didn`t call in today about the HST, Sam called in to ask Vaughn Palmer and Keith Baldrey to tell the public about Bill Vanderzalm`s past, how he is unethical, embroiled in a law suit against Ted Hughs, .....Vaughn, Keith and Billy did just that, they brought up the property transfer tax and called it the most hideous tax in the history of BC...Yet they failed to mention that 6 new and different Governments that followed Vanderzalm Government could remove that "hideous" tax with a stroke of a pen, no negotiating, no asking Ottawa, no nothing, a total pre-arranged smear job that Fox news would be proud of....

And the show got worse and worse, the spin and propaganda even flowed through to CKNW`s news room, I`m talikng about Gord MacDonald on NW news, Gord MacDonald is reporting on cKNW news that...


"Christy Clark has come out in favour of the hospice at UBC but NDP  Adrian Dix has refused comment on the hospice either way" snip....

So now even their newsroom has entered the toilet bowl and offered up a floating log of innuendo and spin!

The show didn`t get any better after the half hour news break, a caller called in and said something about how there are so many service based businesses that were PST exempt and the Government needs that tax money...To which Vaughn Palmer responded with....

" Your right caller, why shouldn`t people pay tax on gardening services, restaurant meals, why should they be exempt"

Vaughn Palmer just told British Columbians that they should be paying tax on absolutely everything and nothing should be exempt from full taxation, WOW....Then Keith Baldrey piped up with....

"Even if the HST is defeated in the referendum you can expect that all exemptions will be revisited"Snip....

So Vaughn Palmer wants full taxation on every service, every product, every facet of your life needs to be subjected to full on maximum taxation....Well Vaughn, how does that BC Liberal ball jam taste?

And you Keith Baldrey, now you are threatening the BC Public with losing all the previous exemptions no matter how the referendum goes, I would watch your back Keith, your risking complete public backlash, mabye even worse, you might consider employing bodyguards after your comments today, you too Vaughn Palmer!

And the staged BC Liberal HST lovefest wasn`t over, a female caller just before the end of the show called in and took a swipe at Chris Delaney claiming he was making windfall profits from the HST in his little business and he was nothing but a hypocrit, the woman provided no facts, just innuendo, ....Fox news of the north is here!

But the big slip of the tongue by Vaughn Palmer, .....

"Gordon Campbell the day after he announced his resignation signed an order in council forcing BC Hydro to acquire enough power to be self sufficient even in the driest year recorded, and extra insurance power".....

Forget about any BC Hydro phony review Crusty Clark has ordered, unless a reverse order of council is signed that removes the previous Gordon Campbell order in council there is no way BC Hydro can`t raise rates by 100% over the next few years.

You BC Liberals allowed Gordon Campbell and Michael Campbell to punish BCers for the benefit of their corporate friends.

BC Loses more Jobs in Latest Stats Canada Labour Report(HST)

How long will this have to continue, how long will the BC Liberals hurt BC`s economy, the Jack Mintz ORIGINAL report on the HST, CD Howe and others reported BEFORE the BC Liberals brought in the HST that the HST would CAUSE JOB LOSES for the FIRST FIVE YEARS...

The fair tax alliance, the bold-faced liars Kevin Falcon and Christy Clucking Clark, where are the promised jobs, where the hell are they???????????

Stats Canada has come out with their latest jobs report, Canada has gained over 22,000 jobs, Quebec gained 25,000 jobs, Alberta gained 8,500 jobs, Saskatchewan gained jobs and British Cloumbia....

Ontario lost 16,000 jobs, the east coast lost jobs and British Columbia isn`t even mentioned in the latest stats Canada jobs report because nothing is happening, a stagnant province bleeding from every orifice, a wounded hurt Province infested with corrupt Liberals.....And considering the canuck playoff run has created jobs in bars and retail, that means that we are still bleeding jobs, we have lost 30,000 jobs since the Christy Clark Liberals jammed it down our throat...

Christy Clark and the Media, Beating a Dead Horse!

Let`s talk polls, bullshit polls, the problem with with polls is, at least in BC is that they are designed for manipulation, but at times they can be revealing, especially for the keen observers.......

As you know the BC Liberals have been carpet bombing British Columbian`s with ads on the HST riddled with lies, lies about the tax being 10%...Big expensive ads by Government, by big industry and many more from the flaky shills at the smart(dumb) tax alliance....These ads are running on radio, on the news hour and on Canuck broadcasts, and with that latter item means but one thing, almost everyone in BC has seen these ads and still....

I mentioned in an earlier post how the Vancouver sun 2 weeks ago conducted a poll on the HST where they called it a  50/50 coin flip, Global News(BC Liberal TV) had Ipsos Reid conduct a poll where Ipsos explained to the people they called how Christy clucking Clark fixed the HST, in that poll the phony Ipsos came out with results of 52% against the HST and 44% for the tax, ......Yes, we totally debunked that poll, we also had the media promote that conman from UBC who did a youtube video attacking Vanderzalm and defending the HST, we have had mining, forestry, the council of shelf stockers, we have had the chamber of commerce, boards of trade, and we also have the stooges, Vaughn stooge Palmer, Keith no balls Baldrey and Bill the racist Good defending the tax, and let`s not forget the "economists"...Michael Campbell, Sam, Fraser institute, even the stamp salesman Michael Levy, Jack flipping and flopping Mintz, ..Jim Dimwit Dinning and a pack of lying dirtbat BC Liberals lying about the HST and after all of that....

As you know, Ipsos Reid overstates BC Liberal support by on average 7% percentage points until we are at election day and then they close their gap in order to retain even a little credibility, Mustel Polls overstate BC Liberal support on average of 12% percentage points,.......Never-the-less...Sometimes the polling outfits out themselves by not paying attention to their competitors polls, and it`s when that happens that keen observers can read polls, read between the lines and come to the right conclusion....For today while listening to Billy racist Good and his hockey talk show there was a blurb from Gord MacDonald about a new poll ......Gord said...."There`s a new poll on the HST out and if you can believe it support for the HST is rising"snip.....My ears started tingling, it was between newscasts so there was no elaboration, however I couldn`t wait for details and went googling, (is that a word) ...I checked Mustel, I checked Ipsos Reid, then I checked Angus Reid and there it was....The latest HST poll and...

And then my phone rang and it was Mom wanting to talk about politics, sheesh Mom, your almost 80 and you want to talk about politics, we talked, how`s Dad I asked, ..She responded with..He`s getting bored, he`s fixing things, he`s eating peanut butter in the middle of the night, things he`s done forever, all good signs.....Meanwhile Mom was on one of my ears and the other was listening to CKNW elaborate on the latest Angus Reid poll during the newscast.....

Pollster and now political pundit Mario Canseco was on the radio news explaining how the gap continues to tighten on the HST and boy oh boy did CKNW try and oversell this poll......So after Mom let my ear go.....I went back to the Angus Reid poll and looked at the questions and methodology and what I saw not only confirmed all my assertions on the true level of HST support but made me grin from ear to smiling ear...

I will leave the link to Angus Reid and the detailed tables but first.....Now remember, this latest poll is after the carpet bombing and HST saturation advertising blitz, all the ads in the Canuck games, ....The detailed tables despite Mario Canseco`s commentary tell the real story...

#1) Female voters are 65% opposed to the HST Province wide.

#2) The aggregate results are..56% percent opposed to the HST.. 44% percent for the HST.....That is after saturation carpet bombing with ads that blatantly lie, Mario Canseco`s poll has a 12point spread, two weeks ago Ipsos reid/Global news poll had a 8 point spread...2 weeks ago the Vancouver Sun called the HST referendum a 50/50 split, a coin toss...Well, Angus Reid has a 12 point spread....And there is so much more...

This latest Angus Reid poll breaks down its poll for different areas of the Province....In the interior, 60% are against the HST....In the North...78% percent are opposed to the HST....Vancouver island is solidly against the HST too...

So let`s examine those results, Christy Clark is female(I think)....Females are 65% opposed to the HST and that`s after the carpet bombing ad campaign.....So much for Clark appealing to woman....But those numbers in the North..78% opposed....Blair Leckstrom and Pat Pimm will be in big trouble if the BC Conservatives run candidates there....60% opposed in the interior....The highest level of support for the HST is in the lower mainland, 45% in favour of the HST....

Those are just a few of the items I picked up on.....And now the juicy stuff, Angus Reid in this poll asked about credibility, the credibility of Christy Clark, Kevin Falcon, Adrian Dix, big business, economists, and the media and boy oh boy did that section make me smile....

Kevin Falcon was found to be the least credible person, the media ranked a close second behind Kevin Falcon as LEAST CREDIBLE.....

So let`s quickly review....After a carpet bombing advertising blitz with lying ads played on Canuck broadcasts(which means everyone has seen them)..After all that 65% of female voters are opposed to the HST, 60% percent opposed in the interior, a whopping 78% opposed in the North, Kevin Falcon, who is the chief promoter of the HST is polling as the least credible with the media a close second! And every single category and age group oppose the tax.

So, the public doesn`t believe a word Kevin Falcon says, Christy Clark hasn`t wooed any female voters to accept the tax and the media are as trustworthy as Kevin Falcon....That says it all!

So as far as this Powell River Persuader is concerned, the HST referendum is over, the ballots go out starting on Monday, game set match!

Well well well...If anyone thinks that Christy Clark is ethical, honest or trustworthy are delusional, this latest breaking news courtesy of Public Eye`s Sean Holman will debunk that myth in a New York minute!

Christy Clark`s brother Bruce Clark`s home was raided, Bruce had Government documents he wasn`t supposed to have, his bank accounts were raided...Christy Clark met with all the big players at the heart of the BC Rail Government scandal, Christy Clark has refused a public inquiry, she has ordered a review of the Government indemnity policy but the Basi/Virk case...Which is the only case on record where Government BROKE the indemnity policy has been excluded from the review...

Christy Clucking Clark has vehemently denied any involvement in BC Rail....Christy claims ignorance, Christy is not a novice, she a well honed politician and political spinner, as you know David Mclean, the head of CN Rail who now own BC Rail was Gordon Campbell`s  chief campaign donor in both 1996 and 2001....In 1996 Campbell campaigned on selling BC Rail and he lost that election, in 2001 Gordon Campbell lied when he campaigned on not selling BC Rail, so in the long run David Mclean got his railway and British Columbia got screwed over, we lost our profitable railway, we witnessed a corrupt trial overseen by a in conflict of interest special prosecutor, we also lost out on $24 million dollars in legal fees, $6 million for the defense and $18 million for the prosecution, the trial ended with a shocking $6 million dollar legal defense gift to Basi and Virk, which broke the indemnity rule...

No public inquiry, no answers, no investigation, just lies from Clark, lies from De Jong, lies from all the BC Liberals, okay, let`s just forget the whole thing, we the public must be wrong, Christy won`t talk, the media doesn`t care, it`s not enough Christy Clark was forced to retract on air for lying about BC Ferries, blatant lies, it`s not enough she lied about how the referendum would be run, lied about not running partisan ads, lied about equal funding, lies lies on top of more lies....

Talk about a conflict of interest, the head of CN Rail David Mclean who was the primary money man and financier for Gordon Campbell`s election runs, a man who wanted BC Rail, a man who received BC Rail in a tainted bid with a tax loophole buried in the agreement that will strip away every dollar BC received for BC Rail, would someone explain to me why Christy Clark is taking freebie perks from the man at the heart of the corrupt BC Rail Deal....

Global News, An Arm of the BC Liberal Government?

Another Canuck game day, yes I am a hockey fan and with a little puck luck the cup will come to British Columbia, however the saturation on TV and radio is so over the top, the Canucks play every year and most teams in the NHL (16 teams) will have a play off run, whether it 1...2...3...or 4 rounds is unknown....

The Olympics cost BC $billions of dollars whereas Canuck playoff runs cost nothing, oh sure there is a little money spent on local police but no where near the police state the IOC demands, hockey in Canada in BC is an economic driver that reaps huge benefits to a multitude of industries, however, when the cauldron is lit, the so-called "sacred Olympic cauldren"   the original meaning of the torch is gone, and at a cost of $thousands per hour when we are running huge deficits is wrong on so many levels, and to light it on a bright sunny afternoon, can you say Christy Clucking photo-op....

I listen to sports talk radio, the pundits and talking heads and some are good but most are so over the top, heavy maple syrup drowning out every real issue facing British Columbian`s, items like taxes, like social justice, corruption, the media by accident perhaps but I believe they are deliberately fluffing the news in order to soothe the savages, who wants knowledge about deficits and approaching tsunamis of bad economic news when we can hear about the Sedin`s older brother and who ate what for lunch, the Vancouver Sun and Province have daily 6 of about 8 headline stories all about the Canucks, when is enough enough, whatever happens in the playoffs will happen no matter how much saturation the media plies. The last Canuck loss, the crowds disappeared after the loss, the streets were barren and from the news footage shown.....The streets were empty and tons of garbage was strewn everywhere, I find that disgusting....It reminds me of a personal experience in a mall in Burnaby last month, here I was walking through the mall looking for a particular shop, and as you know I am not one to look the other way, there was a woman, in her late 20`s(I presume)...She had a baby in a stroller and another young child(7  or 8 years of age) beside her walking, I was behind walking the same direction, the walking child was eating junk food, in the couple of minutes I was behind her in lock step, the walking child threw the junk food wrappers on the ground, not once, not twice but on three different occasions, at first I was thinking that the mother didn`t see this activity, however when we were slowed by people traffic ahead of us and eventually came to a complete stop, the child opened another candy, threw the garbage on the ground, the mother was looking at the child, saw the action, did nothing, said nothing, at that time I scurried backwards and gathered all the garbage, ..Then quickly returned to the woman and said..."Hey, you dropped something"...She looked, she sneered and told me to fuck off....I then said to her..."You are one classy lady, you see those round cans everywhere in this mall, guess what, they`re for garbage".....Yes I know everyone isn`t a pig, but with all the celebration of lights problems with garbage, all the save the planet hype, these kids have no respect, are there no garbage cans in Vancouver...

So as a hockey fan I have been listening and watching these talking heads, which brings me to Global news and Squire Barnes.....I don`t blame Squire Barnes for talking hockey and I don`t blame Squire Barnes for the blatant propaganda that Global news has employed(for money) on behalf of the BC Liberal Government....Since the Canucks started their cup run Global news has been doing a LONG sports section with Squire Barnes called "The Stanley Show"...As in the Stanley cup....

The show is fine, talking heads promoting the Canucks but that is not where the problem lies, the Stanley show hosted by Squire is being inundated with BC Liberal  HST ads....They run one prominent ad promoting the HST where the woman talking in the ad uses past tense....She states..."Now that the HST has been lowered to 10%"...

Why has no one reported Global news and others to the CBSC(Canadian Broadcast Standards Council)...It`s false advertising, no, it`s a blatant lie, for Global news, CBC or whoever to run those ads where they advertise a lie, yes, a blatant bold faced lie.....From what I have seen on CBC ...CBC has only run the HST ads but Global news....

The Stanley show that Global news is running is not only running the HST ads but....On the top right side of the page is a BCLC Playnow.com logo ....And it states...."The Stanley show is sponsored by Playnow.com"....So here we have the Stanley show that runs several HST ads every time it airs(nightly)....But we have the entire 15 minute segment sponsored by the BC Liberal Government!....Why doesn`t Global news change their name to the Provincial propaganda channel....How ethical is it and believe me it gets worse, far worse for not only is Global prominently featuring HST ads on the Stanley show, not only is the entire show sponsored by our tax n spend Government but...

But Global and Government run several ads asking viewers to visit BCLC`s Playnow online gaming site, last night they showed a hand during the Stanley show, not just the ads but a hand ...What hand you say?...A poker hand...10 of spades...jack of spades..queen of spades...King of spades...Ace of spades then they state...You can win $10,000 dollars or $100,000 dollars just visit BCLC`s Playnow.com ...

So not only is the Stanley show inundated with lying misleading HST ads, not only is the entire program paid for by Christy Clark but they are actively using the ploy of advertising the chances of winning big money by simply visiting the BC Liberals gaming site......That tells me two things, Global news has no morals, no ethics, a corporate Government shill TV station, and that the Government is starved for dollars,  I`m surprised that the union or whoever governs honesty in journalism and even the on air staff at Global haven`t protested, but I guess it`s all about job security and lack of individual balls.

Global news, a BC Government shill, Squire Barnes and on air staff for the sake of job security are willing to be used, a pox on all their houses, Global News, Squire Barnes, anyone with moral and ethics would refuse to host that show!

Dalton McGuinty, Court Jester and Soon to be Opposition Leader(updated at bottom)

Christy Clucking Clark has been busy smiling at the cameras and pretending too care about families, besides lighting the Olympic cauldron and cursing the Canucks with bad karma, the cost of burning the cauldron is $2000 dollars an hour in natural gas costs, when that cost was revealed the lying Liberals quickly declared..."Fortis BC is picking up the cost".....And where the hell do you think Fortis BC gets its money...From ratepayers, Christy clucking Clark  with her families first agenda is burning up taxpayer dollars lighting a huge torch on a bright sunny day with the sun and daylight until 9:00 pm or later, not to mention the greenhouse gasses that are spewing in the atmosphere(without a carbon tax) yet YOU pay a carbon tax on every fill-up .....

There is rumour abuzz that IF the Canucks win the Stanley Cup Clark will pounce on an early election call, maybe for July or even August, the BC Liberal pimps at CKNW have been busy trying to paint Clark as Mz popular when nothing could be further from the truth,......Interesting enough, pollster Mario Canseco (now political pundit)of Angus Reid just completed a poll on the popularity of different Canadian premiers and CKNW has been plastering the poll results all day, CKNW has been reporting..."Christy Clark is so much more popular than Gordon Campbell" snip.....And Mario Canseco has added commentary on how Christy Clark is connecting and bringing Liberals back in the fold, ....Gordon Campbell was at 16% approval rating in the last premiers poll Angus Reid did, Cluck Cluck has an approval rating of 36% in this latest.........Poll?

But what I find interesting, actually there are many facets of this that I find interesting, Ipsos Reid(partner of BC Liberal TV Global News) had a poll last week that CLAIMED the BC NDP and BC Liberals were in a virtual dead heat(NDP 39%...Liberals at 41%), I laughed, and I also mentioned at that time in a post how Ipsos Reid pre-election without fail over-states Liberal support by on average 7% percentage points, which my math puts the lying Liberals at 34% in BC..

Interesting enough, the same poll CKNW has been plastering on the radio about how popular the Clucker is has a rating for Christy Clark`s Ontario partner in crime Dalton McGuinty....And Dalton McGuinty has a paltry approval rating  in Ontario of 19% ....Yikes I say....Why does it matter about McGuinty, Dalton McGuinty and Ontario are having a general election in September(this year).....At 19% and floundering, Tim Hudak will be removing the scourge of phony Liberalism from the hallowed halls of Ontario, in other words Dalton is done like dinner and his demise is/was caused by same public betrayal as the BC Liberals inflicted on us...The HST and the Green energy fiasco and scam, like BC Ontario has Hydro rates skyrocketing out of control, a failed energy plan, just as notorious as Gordon Campbell`s clean energy act that was rammed through the BC Legislature with closure, a bill that removed all oversight and forced BC Hydro to rip off rate payers for shareholders of General Electric/Plutonic power and other BC Liberal party doners!.....In fact Marvin Schaeffer wrote an op/ed piece on the BC clean energy act and its brutal consequence for ratepayer and FAMILIES

So as for a snap election, bring it on.....And it`s not just the Angus Reid poll that shows Dalton and the Fiberals going down but this poll too.....

Still thinking about that early election call Clucker .....I hope you are....For unbeknownst to me at the time that I said that the true BC Liberal support in BC was at 34%(not 41%) there was another poll which confirmed my assertions.....This poll paints a DOOMSDAY scenario for Christy Clucking Clark....

The same Ipsos Reid  polling outfit that always(pre-election) over-states  the BC Liberal support by 7% percentage points also ran a poll last week that claimed that the NO HST and Pro HST were virtually tied, I totally debunked that poll when I explained how....When does a polling company conduct a poll where the POLLSTERS explain too the people they are calling what the HST fix is...When does a polling company state..."Does a 10% HST change your mind"....When there is no 10% HST, there is no 11% HST...We have an 12% HST and as for lowering the HST in ANY PART OR FORM INCLUDING THE PST SIDE OF THE HST the PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT MUST FIRST SEEK PERMISSION FROM OTTAWA ! That is in the agreement Gordon Campbell inked, we can`t do anything until the 5 year deal expires in  July2015..., There is one provision in the HST agreement for a 1 point reduction after 2 years of the deal, that date would be July 1/2012...In other words Christy Clark has done nothing on the HST deal that isn`t enshrined in the act...That was not explained in any Ipsos Reid poll....But as for those HST poll results the same scenario exists, Ipsos Reid is attempting too change the public`s mind through manipulation rather than reporting True numbers....In fact there was another poll conducted on the HST and coincidentally the TRUE number of people who support the HST are almost identical as the Angus Reid Premiers poll that gives Christy Clucking Clark 36% approval rating, and that poll is here

So according to the HST agreement Gordon Campbell and Colin Hansen inked, a 1% percentage point reduction was allowed after two years of the agreement and no further rate adjustments will or can be implemented until after the 5th year of the deal, the fifth year is in 2015...July 1st 2015.....The Province by law, the law of the tax act that ALL BC LIBERALS endorsed and Campbell and Hansen signed, the Province of BC cannot by law reduce the HST to 10% before July 1st 2015.....That means that the BC Liberals are lying again, gosh, really, a BC Liberal lying..Ho Hum!

Well well well,  the BC Liberals are down too their hardcore supporters, a mere 35%...36 %...Despite the photo-ops, despite the BC media lovefest with Clucky Clark, the wool is being pulled over your eyes, the HST referendum will be won by those wanting a return to the PST/GST....Any other result will have been obtained through fraud, and if that happens the results will be even more devastating to Christy Clark`s election chances....

Do you still want that early election Christy?.....And I would like to remind you that when Dalton McGuinty sold out Ontario with the HST fraud he not only mailed out rebate cheques before the HST came in....Dalton McGuinty gave Ontarians every single dollar of the $4billion dollar bribe they received from Ottawa, roughly $1000 dollars per family regardless of economic status and still....

And still the anger boils, Ontario and their Green energy act and the HST....BC and the clean energy act and the HST...The similarities are there, the lies, the fraud, the tax n spend Liberals in BC and Ontario...What a Christmas gift for me....The Ontario Liberals and BC Liberals both gone to the depths of pergatory in the same year!

I think I`ll hang up my Christmas stockings early this year......Enjoy your lump of coal Christy.

I watched a new show on Discovery channel(New for Discovery channel) this Sunday night, it was called Whale Wars, I find it amazing that these sea battles and cultural clashes get such little exposure from the main stream media, then I watched CNN overseas business news,.......

Portugal has a new Government but the austerity measures remain in place, as you know Portugal received a bail-out of $110 billion Euros,.....Portugal in order to receive the bail-out has agreed to privatize services and reduce that burden by 3% of GDP within 3 years and also to tax the public by 2% of the gdp more then they are paying now over the same time frame.......Austerity measures, austerity measures, man do I hate that word, it`s like calling a root canal a dental procedure, we know how a root canal feels, austerity measures, such a mellow phrase, why don`t they just call it what it is, were gonna reduce services, break promises and slash pensions and deny new pensions for the next generations.....With Portugal`s unemployment rate at 16% the chances that the new Government fulfills any of those commitments is pie in the sky dreaming, expect even more cuts being unleashed on the masses.......The IMF(International monetary fund) and the woman who reported the story from Portugal stated...."The Portugese Government definitely was on public spending spree".....Yes, they reported that too much Government spending on the public caused their demise, I find that very interesting...

 100,000 people this Sunday protested in Greece in their main square over even more austerity measures, Greece is trying to arrange another bail out, they are asking for $47 billion Euros more, they already received more than that the first time, apparently that money didn`t stick,......Can you imagine, the Greek Government like Portugal was on a "public spending spree" too....But the reports and howls from a down-trodden public blame the Greek Government for squandering and wasting money like it grew on trees, .......Ha, I don`t think I have ever written that phrase before on our site, Mom and Dad always told me that growing up, don`t waste your money it doesn`t grow on trees, ...Where was I....Anyway, the Greeks are ready to explode with anger, maybe even extreme violence.....

So the Greek Government is gonna play hardball, who will blink first, this won`t sit well with those fiery Greeks, but who is right, surely that ancient culture knew how to handle money and budgets, they have an HST in Greece, and Portugal, only they call it a VAT tax, same thing and coincidently their VAT tax started very low,  when the money rolled in the Greek Government spent it and over time they kept raising the VAT until.....Until huge swaths of the economy went underground.....But Greece, they were on top of the world just 7 years ago when they hosted the summer Olympic games.......I`m surprised none of our local media or Michael Campbell/Michael Levy  or any of the other "economists" who discuss how better off we are than Europe or any other jurisdiction in the world haven`t mentioned that.......We were lied too so many times about the Olympic windfall coming our way, there there, don`t worry about the thefts and cost over-runs, don`t fret the taking of your rights, your freedoms, don`t mind BC ceding your freedom and human rights over to the IOC...We were told it will all be worth it, Remember the Montreal Olympic games, they finally paid off their Olympic debt a couple of years ago, ....The Montreal games were in 1976!..What`s 30 years.

They are undoubtedly spectacular, but Greece's determination to stage the Olympic Games has also come at a spectacular cost.
Official government figures show that the initial £3 billion budget has increased by half as much again. But government economists admit in private that the end figure may be nearly £7 billion.
This year alone the amounts have spiralled out of control. "The budget for various Olympic projects this year was 1.4 billion euros [£933 million]" said Petros Doukas, the deputy finance minister, this week, blaming the government's socialist predecessors, voted out of office in March, for the mess.
But Mr Doukas, like everyone else in Greece, is betting on the Olympics paying the country back. "The games are about putting Greece in the mind of the world," he said.
While global attention is guaranteed, many are asking whether it is for the right reasons. After building delays, threats by the International Olympic Committee to withdraw the Games and concern over security measures, the Athens Olympics have received such a worldwide public relations battering that surely only Hitler's Berlin Games have a worse reputation. As a public relations exercise, even the government's Olympic co-ordinator, Fanny Palli-Petralia, admits that the Games so far have been a costly failure.
"We failed to exploit the pre-Olympic period," she admitted, as figures showed that the number of foreigners visiting to Greece has fallen by 12 per cent in the past year.
Commentators agree that in the seven years since Greece won the right to host the Olympics, it has squandered the opportunity to "brand" the country positively.

All those tall tales from the Greek Government about a financial windfall from hosting the games, $ billions on security, an Olympic village fiasco, cost over runs and rampant corruption throughout the Government contracts, $billions and billions seemed too just vanish....The stories of increased tourism, putting Greece on the map, ....Like no one knew where Greece was,......Could the story of Greece be the story of British Columbia, the similarities are scary, ....Have we not been on a "public spending spree"....A $billion dollars for security, in fact we payed a very heavy price for having Stephen Harper agree to pay for most of the security, Gordon Campbell in a panic over the security budget, he and Colin Hansen claimed that.....

"Total security would cost $175 million dollars" 

We were told that lie for a year, and it`s my belief that at that time.....Gordon Campbell in order to secure Harper picked up the bulk of the security cost agreed to sell us out on the HST....That`s why Gordon Campbell was a red mitten giant Canadian flag waving buffoon, Campbell was screaming and shouting look at me, I`m a proud Canadian, you love me, I am Canadian,......

Yes indeed, it all makes sense now, Campbell sold us out because he went on a Greek style "Public spending spree" where shady contracts and criminal wrong doing lurked everywhere, the secret $1 billion dollars over budget Canada line, the $2.4 billion dollar 25 year maintenance contract on the sea to sky highway...Yes we knew that someone was going to pay for the Olympics, now you know who, YOU....All the bonuses, the cushy jobs, the secrets deals, the Millennium athletes village theft, yes it was theft...And were we not promised future prosperity, promised record future tourism, were we not also told that the Olympic games would put BC on the map.

"Public spending spree"....Like $700 million dollars on a ugly retractable roof....

Who will ultimately pay the price, the Greek people, the Portugese, you and me, you bet....Government squanders and spends and fill their own pockets with gold plated indexed pensions with double dipping gravy train jobs for keeping quiet and more...Like breaking the law, ignoring ethics and destroying Democracy....

Yes indeed, I did enjoy watching Whale Wars tonight and the massive protest in Greece that`s on the verge of going violent,....I remember Greenpeace when it was in its infancy, it started right here in British Columbia, without those warriors chasing the whalers nearly 40 years ago there wouldn`t be a whale left alive today...And it still angers me that they are still needed, warriors or terrorists, how many of the early Greenpeace were arrested and ridiculed by the corporate mafia, how many of them DIED for the cause......

British Columbia has always been unique that way, the home of Greenpeace warriors, the home place of a once young vibrant David Suzuki, its unfortunate that David Suzuki surrendered some of his ethics for the sake of money, yes Suzuki cares about the big picture but he also knows where his bread is buttered, what else could explain his silence on Enbridge pipeline and Fish lake, ....I guess a useless carbon tax with associated tax cuts is more important....

I also remember a young cute Tzeporah Berman who ventured into Clayoquot Sound and chained herself too a ancient tree and dared the fallers to cut it down,....Tzeporah has been quiet too, did she not go to Copenhagen  with Campbell to collect an award for the carbon tax, I wonder what Tzeporah Berman And David Suzuki think of BC hospitals and schools being forced by the BC Liberals to give money to Lafarge cement and Encana gas for Co2 emissions, less surgeries, less care, shuttered schools, over crowding nightmare in Surrey and school boards are giving away $millions for offsets, and not just once, this will happen every year,...I wonder what Tzeporah thinks about that, Encana gas made $billions of dollars last year, and the year before that, and before that and on and on.....Meanwhile the Queen Charlotte hospital is using an Atco trailer for a morgue, a greenhouse for therapy and a smokehouse for mixing chemo drugs, or is it the smokehouse for the morgue, it`s all so confusing, meanwhile the Queen Charlotte hospital has to give Encana gas money because they aren`t carbon neutral.....

Carbon neutral, all the efforts to fight global climate change, 2011 was the coldest BC spring in 55 years, our useless carbon tax, cap n trade, all the wasted money on climate summits, the big question is, have we made any progress or have we only succeeded in ripping off Mom and Pops around the world....Lay a guilt trip on a gullible public and pick their pocket.....The answer is no, world emissions are on the rise and are forecast to continue to rise for the next decade. Meanwhile the little Province of BC that has almost zero manufacturing and is covered in trees is forced by a corrupt Government to pay an extra 5cents a liter on fuels and our hospitals and schools are forced by BC Liberal legislation to give Encana gas money.....All that money for what?..So the BC Government can ship record tonnage of coal into China....The hypocrisy reeks...Only BC Liberals would steal money from students and patients for Encana gas!

The young female page in parliament is a hero, "STOP HARPER"....Yes we had our heros years ago, who will be the next Tzeporah Berman, the next Paul Watson, who will stand up for Democracy, who will stand against Enbridge, against Tsesako mines, where have all the heros gone, ....I`m reminded of an old commercial

"I shoot the puck in the net".....Rocket Richard, that`s what he did, not complicated, was he a hero, no he was a hockey player.....I wonder who the next hero will be and when will they show up....

What If the BC Liberals Win the HST Referendum?

Somebody has political advisers that are leading them over a cliff, yes I am talking about Christy cluck cluck Clark and the BC Liberals, the last poll out was an Ipsos Reid poll that put the NDP and the BC Liberals in a virtual tie...

41% to 39%....The numbers were very close, however, anyone who has followed BC Polls can recognize the trends, Mustel Polls (Evi Mustel and BC Liberal Joan Mcntire from the north shore are ex-business partners)..Mustel polls are the worst, Mustel on average give the BC Liberals a 10% to 15% advantage every time, it`s only when an election is coming soon that Mustel poll numbers and the BC Liberal lead fall, it`s all about influencing the voters, Ipsos Reid polls(A partner of the BC Liberals TV station Global news, yes they have a working partnership)...Ipsos Reid polls do the same, Ipsos Reid polls are notorious for overstating the BC Liberals lead by at least 7% percentage above the true numbers, and like the Mustel polls when the election date is a mere few days away both Ipsos Reid and Mustel polls bring their gap down, this is done to maintain some, I repeat some credibility after the election...

So when the Last Ipsos Reid poll has the NDP and BC Liberals in a virtual dead heat I am pleased, I immediately add 7% percentage points to the NDP and subtract that amount from the BC Liberals....That puts the NDP at 46% and the BC Liberals 34%....

Still with polls the Vancouver sun had a poll done about the HST and they were calling it 50-50....A dead heat...Well...What if?

First off, I don`t believe for a moment that it is a dead heat, I believe that the group to extinguish the HST is much larger than those who want to retain the dreaded tax, and that makes for some very interesting scenarios, British Columbians as a whole are roughly 80% opposed to oil tankers on our precious one of a kind northern coast, again this result creates many more interesting possibilities, so again I say...What if?

Christy Clark has chosen oil tankers and pipelines over the wishes of the majority of BCers, Christy Clark wants environmental assessments gutted, she is in strong favour of oil tankers despite the risk, so what do the polls have anything to do with that?...Well here`s the deal....The last few HST polls have been misleading and unreliable, both Global TV and the Vancouver sun WANT the HST because of their corporate masters....So what if...

We all know how polls are unreliable and easily manipulated, we also know that we can`t trust Elections BC and the mail out ballot, we can`t trust Craig James and we certainly can`t trust the BC Liberals, I believe the polls are being manipulated on the HST, and even with the manipulation the most the Government can convince to accept the HST is 50%..MAYBE, if you believe the polls....So what if?....During a regular election when people go to a polling station and real public citizens count ballots it`s hard if not impossible to cheat the system, so in the event of a regular election, after the election one side wins and one loses, it doesn`t matter after a general election who or what polling outfit was playing fast and loose with their results, it doesn`t matter then....So what if?

So what if through manipulation and getting out the vote plus fear mongering the HST referendum is won by the BC Liberals 51% to 49%....Let`s just say they win through guile and or through a corrupt mail-in ballot?..What if?

If there was manipulation, if the numbers don`t represent the truth, that HST win could turn into such public anger and uproar that the BC Liberals will be blown out of the water....Let`s examine some basic facts, Christy Clark and the liars since the last election will not have won over any voters who voted for the NDP...The last election the NDP had 42% of the vote too the BC Liberals 45% of the vote...Not a total of the eligible voters but a total of who turned out to vote, as you know a mere 55% of BCers voted in the last provincial election....The Greens accounted for about 6% of the BC vote total in our last election, with Christy Clark wanting to destroy fish lake, in favour of both oil tankers and the Enbridge pipeline will certainly deny her any of that vote, after all, like the HST 80% of BC Families are strongly opposed to oil tankers and Enbridge...

Now add in John Cummins and the BC Conservative party, I presume if they run good candidates they too will receive at least 6% of the vote and probably more.

So what if?...What if the HST referendum is won 51% to 49 %....If that happens through pressure and guile all Crusty Clark and the BC Liberals will have done is solidify their opposition, and considering all the other lies and scandals that are brewing, Gordon Campbell and all the BC Liberals conned BCers with $4 billion dollar fudge budget lie, it makes Glen Clark`s budget look like pocket change....And how can we forget the tragedy of the theft of our railway and the Basi/Virk $6 million dollar cover-up, there is also the teachers dispute, closed schools, school crowding nightmare in Surrey, our paramedics, our courts, the firing of needed sheriffs, the BC Place boondoggle, cuts to gaming grants and the shuttering of 55 group homes, the list is endless, so what if?

Christy Clark and PAB might think they can bully a win with the HST but at what cost?.....They may win the battle but they will lose the war, for the BC Liberals can`t afford to even lose 2% of their vote total, with an HST rammed down our throats, pipelines and oil tankers, crimes against humanity, crimes against the public, BC Hydro gouging rates to pay IPP contracts, ferry fares on the rise and even today Blair Leckstrom stated that Translink can add another brand new carbon tax to be put on top of our existing carbon tax all to be given too Translink, and there is also another year delay in the nevergreen line.

So Christy Clark and her gang of liars might want to think twice about manipulating the public with polls on the refendum, the Liberals might think twice about the prospects of winning a 50/50 referendum, the results will solidify 50% of the electorate  to be 100% opposed to the Christy Clark Liberals....For even after the referendum the jobs will continue to disappear, prices and fuel will continue to rise, prices won`t fall and Translink will come a digging for money, ferry rates rose yesterday despite a phony review under way...

So my question to you Christy Clark and your advisors, at what cost would an HST referendum win be, how many enemies will you create because I guarantee that none of those voting against the HST will ever vote for the Liberals, so now not only will you alienate the Greens with oil tanker and pipeline promotion, not only will you solidify everyone who votes against the HST you will also drive voters to John Cummins and the BC Conservative party, and considering how popular Stephen Harper is among many disenfranchised BC Liberals, well, they will be quite comfortable with John Cummins, ....You BC Liberals can no longer claim to be good fiscal managers, the three largest deficits in BC History, you took our debt from $28 billion dollar to over $60 billion dollars including another $billion dollar deficit this year and that is after you took $1.6 billion dollars from Ottawa and stole $950 million dollars from ICBC....So What If?

So what if you squeak out a victory on the HST referendum, methinks an HST referendum win will be the death knell for the BC Liberals.

And it couldn`t happen to a better group of criminals!

Be careful what you wish for Christy cluck cluck Clark, phony polls on the HST will lead to voter anger and solidify your enemies, the Ipsos Reid poll on the HST is skewed, as is all their polls on the BC Liberals, lastly, the Ipsos Reid poll on the HST was conducted immediately after the press release and in that Ipsos Reid poll the pollsters actually explained the changes to the HST but were very fuzzy on the time-line of events, what you had was a polling company explaining potential HST changes in the future.....Ipsos Reid Polling conducts a poll where THEY explain Clark`s way off in the future fake HST fix, the public will not have had a chance to absorb the numbers, when they realize the fix is in 2014, when they realize they have been lied too, when they realize the story keeps changing, when they figure out a revenue neutral advertised tax turned into a $850 million dollar cash grab, when they find out no cheque is being sent until late this year or ever...Well, I believe that Christy Clark is so hell-bent on winning the HST referendum and BEATING the NDP she has taken her eye off the prize, the general election, that is the fatal flaw that Christy Clark can`t remove from her make-up, for Clark it`s all about beating the NDP.

The way I see this referendum, Christy Clark and the Liberals lose either way, if she loses the referendum she has a duty to remove the HST, and if Clark goes ugly, plays games with the public and stalls without bringing an end to this HST fiasco her election chances die.

Christy Cluck Cluck Clark Dancing a Jig in Estimate Debates.(The Blame Game)

Well well well, most British Columbians were escaping reality watching the Canucks play hockey, I was interested in the estimate debates for the office of Christy cluck cluck Clark premier, the big showdown, Adrian Dix versus Christy Gordon Campbell Clark, the session started with a fake families first speech from the cluckster, other than that nothing changed, the same non-answers and the same bullshit, the only difference was the lies were coming from Christy rather than Gordo....

Adrian Dix started on Christy over the nearly $3 million dollars in severance pay paid to Gordon Campbell`s political appointees, including Paul Taylor who received $154 thousand dollars in severance after 5 months of employment, also Lara Dauphinee, Martyn Brown, Seckle, all of the usual suspects, Dix also asked how much Christy Clark was paying her media appointees, Rebbecca Scott from CKNW($150 K)...Chris Olsen(From Olsen on your side) $140k..When Adrian Dix tried to get Christy to explain why she couldn`t place Campbell`s appointees in Government somewhere and give them notice of termination and save the taxpayers $millions, Christy Clark responded with..."She wanted change" snip....Apparently Campbell`s political appointees wanted change too...$3 million dollars worth of change or they would start talking...

Adrain Dix also tried to pin Christy Clark down on the north coast oil tanker ban, Christy Clark waffled but in her waffling Christy Clark confirmed that not only is she in favour of the Enbridge pipeline but she`s also in favour of increased tanker traffic everywhere in BC, Clark is also wanting Fish lake destroyed and the Fraser river watershed damaged, environmental damage means nothing to Christy Clark.

The second half of the estimate debate for the office of the premier got quite interesting, at least too this political junkie....If you are not aware, the Federal Government in July will announce who will receive/win a lucrative multi-$billion multi decade military ship building contract, the ship building contract has been in the public for almost 2 years now, in fact the Nova Scotia and Quebec Governments with their ship building industries have not been asleep at the wheel, they have lobby groups in Ottawa, those 2 Provinces have been actively pursuing these lucrative contracts for 2 years now, Adrian Dix and the BC NDP have been since April/2010 lobbying Ottawa for these ship building union jobs, that`s right folks, the BC NDP have been fighting for these jobs for over a year now,.....Why is this relevant, the answer is simple, ever since Gordon Campbell and ALL BC Liberals broke their 1000th promise and stabbed us in the back with news of a $4 billion dollar deficit and a new $2 billion dollar consumer/middle class tax they have not performed....

The BC Liberals were so busy trying to CON BCers about the HST, so busy fighting recalls, fighting petitions, BC Rail, the Basi/Virk scandal, 30,000 lost jobs, the BC Liberals have been so busy lying and defending their crimes, so preoccupied with manipulating the public, so involved with Gordon Campbell`s disasterous shuffling of ministries and cabinet shuffles that the BC Government has been asleep at the switch and the business of BC has swirled the toilet bowl....So anyway, Adrian Dix was asking what the BC Government would do to help secure these lucrative ship building jobs, what have they done, when, where, who, Christy Clark had no answers and what the Cluck cluck said next was astonishing and so Gordon Campbell like, so like the BC PAB machine with their silly media games.....

Christy Clark said to Adrian Dix and I quote...

"Is the leader of the opposition going to ask his NDP brothers, after all, they`re all the same, to support B.C. getting the ship building contract, the NDP are now a Quebec based political party and could make the difference in BC getting the contract"

Cluck cluck went on with this line of attack, hear me out people, Christy Clark was asserting and testing a new line of attack, the BC Liberals are going to blame the Federal NDP(and the BC NDP) if BC doesn`t get the lucrative Federal contract, .....The BC Liberals since July 2009 and their latest betrayals let the Province go ungoverned, so busy have they been trying to save their own skin that Seaspan(vying for the ship building contract)...That Seaspan approached the opposition NDP for help in securing a contract, ......After all, they are good UNION paying jobs...

We all know that we have defective gas guzzling German built ferries sitting tied to the dock, we all know that the BC Liberals tried, and are still trying to destroy all unions and collective bargaining, our shipyards almost completely vanished under the BC Liberals.....So while Gordon Campbell and Colin Hansen along with a compliant media have been so busy trying to save their corrupt political lives that the ship building contract drifted away, no one was at the controls....But for the BC Liberals trying to blame the Federal NDP and the BC NDP for losing the bid is sick, very very sick and such a pathetic stretch......Quebec and Nova Scotia have been for 2 years pursuing these contracts for their Province....

And for Christy Clark to demand that Adrian Dix  tell his Federal counterparts in Quebec and Nova Scotia to abandon their Province and promote the province of BC for the ship building contracts....Are you kidding me!...

What kind of game is that, are not Quebec politicians, Ontario politicians, East coast politicians supposed to support their own Province, of course they are, obviously the BC Liberal PAB are testing out another excuse and attempting to blame the upstart Federal NDP and the BC NDP for the BC Liberal`s failure to run a Province or support a BC industry when the ship building contract goes elsewhere,......Will the BC Liberal PAB ever stop, will the media in BC finally start laughing, the HST, ....Cluck cluck is counting on the media to promote her assertion that the BC NDP want a 12% tax and they want a 10% tax...The so-called fix that won`t happen until 2014...Actually it will never happen...

I have to give Adrian Dix credit, he knows his file, he`s a policy hawk, .....Christy Clark in her attempt to link BC losing a ship building contract with the NDP, Adrian Dix fired back at Christy Clark and reminded her to lobby HER political Federal Liberal party to lobby Ottawa for British Columbia, Dix also threw a jab and reminded Christy Clark about the mere 10% of the BC vote the Federal Liberals received....It was good for a laugh,.....After Christy Clark started in on the Federal NDP and kept mentioning how the NDP are now a Quebec party Adrian Dix pulled the BC Rail Basi/Virk card, he asked about the payoff, about the decision, it was then that Christy Clark started in with eers and ums and her shoulders started to slump, she was clearly uncomfortable and refused to answer questions and kept repeating her non-answers...

So after a couple of hours of estimate debates with Christy Clark we learned....She is in favour of Enbridge, Christy Clark wants super oil tankers all over the coast, when BC Loses the ship building contract(because BC was asleep and hiding)Christy Clark will blame both the Federal and provincial NDP, we also learned that it was Christy Clark who ordered a review of the indemnity clause but made sure the Basi/Virk decision is not part of the review...That part is really funny, Clark orders a review of the indemnity policy, as Adrian Dix pointed out, as I pointed out in the past, there is nothing wrong with the indemnity clause, the BC Liberals BROKE THE INDEMNITY LAW....The indemnity law states....If Government officials are sued and innocent their legal fees are paid for but if they are found guilty of breaking the public trust or breaking the law they have to pay their own legal fees....There is nothing wrong with the indemnity policy, the BC Liberals broke the policy, the BC Liberals have ordered a review of the policy but excluded the one and only case where Government broke the policy...Boy oh boy... Christy Clark turned into a shrinking violet when the questions got tough.

Christy Clark, born to lie, born to cheat, born to be a BC Liberal, no change, no new sensation, same old Gordon Campbell only wearing a shirt!
