The Child Without Country

There are no words to describe Communist China, Canada has turned a blind eye towards atrocities around the world, Canada could care less about human rights, law, equity, environmental destruction, as long as investors and big energy make $billions from China who cares, what happened to Canada`s moral authority, maybe I`m a dreamer, maybe I read history wrong, maybe Canada was never better than the corrupt tyrannical Government of Communist China......I don`t mean to paint a nation with a broad brush but this time China deserves the shame!

It is a story that has deeply unsettled millions in China, posing troubling questions about whether three decades of headlong economic development has left nothing but a moral vacuum in its wake.
It begins when a two-year-old girl totters into a narrow lane in a wholesale market in the thriving industrial city of Foshan in Guangdong Province and is hit by a white van. The driver pauses, then pulls away, crushing the child for a second time under his rear wheels.
It is not the accident itself, but what happens next - or rather does not happen - that has left millions of ordinary Chinese wondering where their country is heading.
One by one, 18 passers-by are seen on closed circuit television ignoring the girl as she lies in the road, haemorrhaging into the gutter. Not one stops to help.
The first is a young man in a white T-shirt and trainers. He walks past the prone form of the girl who is by now bleeding profusely, without a second glance.
Next comes a cyclist who wobbles slightly to avoid the dying child and then pedals on, turning his head back momentarily, as if to check that he really did a see a child dying in the street.
As the pool of blood spreads, a third pedestrian comes by, clearly sees the bleeding girl, but steps out into the small lane to give her a wide berth.
All three could have moved the girl, later named by her parents as two-year-old Yueyue, but none did, allowing another, larger vehicle following down the lane a few minutes later to run her over for a second time.
The pictures of the incident, which happened last Thursday afternoon, then show a succession of other cyclists and rickshaw drivers weaving round the girl, including a woman walking with a child who, on seeing Yueyue, visibly quickens her step, dragging her charge after her.
It is only the 19th passer-by, a 58-year-old street cleaner called Chen Xianmei, who drops her bag of rubbish and rushes to the child, attempting to scoop up her up, but finding her floppy and lifeless.
Mrs Chen, who is only 4ft 7in, then calls for the girl's mother, who comes rushing into view, taking up her child in her arms.
Yueyue is now in a critical condition in intensive care in the military hospital in the city of Guangzhou. Earlier, doctors said she had suffered major head injuries and was breathing only with the assistance of a ventilator.
The story of Yueyue was the leading item on China's online news portals as copies of the distressing CCTV footage attracted more than a million viewings in hours. Many reacted with dismay, citing the incident as further evidence that China had become a "world without morals".
"Everyone is praising the rubbish-collecting granny for helping, but isn't it normal to help someone who is wounded or dying?" asked Johnny Yao on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, "This just shows how abnormal is the moral situation in this society! The sad Chinese, poor China are we even rescuable?"
Others blamed China's compensation culture for the callousness, recalling a famous 2006 judgment when a Good Samaritan who helped a woman get to hospital was wrongly ordered to pay her compensation. "They didn't ignore the girl, they just didn't dare help her," said one comment among many that said that Chinese law had helped to create a fear of intervening.
However, many others said there could be no excuse, and that the scenes should "shake the soul of every conscientious person" in China.
"Even if the passers-by couldn't rescue her, they could dial 120 and 110 [China's emergency numbers] and help to stop vehicles, then the little Yueyue wouldn't have been run over by the second car," said one comment. "What's up with people these days? They make so many excuses to turn a blind eye. The society is so indifferent, so heartless."

Occupy the World, Viva La Evolution!

Sometimes the best way of communicating and connecting with others is to talk, no facts no figures no spin just a simple conversation like the one i`m having with you right now.....

I wish I could attend the Vancouver Awakening in person but that`s not possible, at least not tomorrow however, however this "Awakening" is just getting started, we owe the Egyptian people a debt of gratitude, for that is where this modern evolution started, perhaps you noticed I used the word "Evolution" rather than Revolution, there is a reason for that..

A revolution even in name sends subliminal imagery in all directions and depending on one`s upbringing, one`s education and particularly one`s understanding of history, was that history accurate, for even in the free-land of USA/USA/USA/USA, even in this melting pot revolution means different things to different people, for Texas still talks of succeeding and leaving the national union, revolution to Texans reminds them of loss, or at least a perceived loss,....Viva La Revolution, Revolutions in Mexico, in South America, military uprisings around the world, the word revolution supplants images of violence in many, our blind media in Canada are engaged in a massive propaganda campaign as we speak, there are those in the Federal Government and many in the BC Liberal party who want violence tomorrow and their motives are obvious....For if someone smashes windows, burns a cop car that`s what will be reported!

Already many haters in the bloggosphere are slinging mud and name calling, all in an attempt to discredit this world-wide "evolution"....For big media under orders from the Federal Conservatives and  Christy Clark`s BC Liberals are looking to divide the left, media, the Vancouver Sun, CKNW are hoping and praying that some part of Occupy Canada goes violent and then the shills will descend, the Gary Mason`s, the Vaughn Palmers, the Balderdash`s, the woodless Bill Goods of Canada are aching to tie any violence to Jim Sinclair, Adrian Dix, David Eby, in anticipation of violence big Canadian media has been hired through stealth and advertising dollars to launch the nastiest attacks towards the left, words like "nuttars and radicals" are bandied around, ....Stephen Harper, Christy Clark, the Vancouver police are all complicit, threats have been issued by the police against wearing glasses, hoodies and costumes, these authorities are treating the "evolutionists" like children, in-fact they are attempting through various media to deliberately incite violence, maybe Halloween should be canceled too, ban those children from dressing up like Cinderella or the Wizard of Oz

Stephen Harper stated today...

"Canada is different, we are a stable economy that weathered the global economic meltdown better than most"

Christy Clark echoed that sentiment by saying we are better and kinder and more caring than Americans...

But that isn`t true, Canada is deep in debt, the debt is growing fast, seniors are now taking on debt, big debt, the boomers are swimming in debt and middle-aged folks are falling backwards and being left behind and their children see nothing but austerity measures while Governments choke on corporate pork, the debt crisis is here, perhaps someone should tell Christy Clark and Stephen Harper that Canada is not an island, man is not an island...Isn`t that amusing, catch phrases, even prolific propaganda spotters like myself start falling into the word trap....

"Debt crisis"

There was no debt crisis, it was outright theft by the banking industry, it was fraudulent investment firms stealing pensions, insider trading, derivatives and credit default swaps, financial instruments of mass destruction invented by elite criminals, why, how much money do they need, there was no debt crisis in 2008, there was no debt crises when the Dot.Com bubble burst, there was no debt crises when the SnL banking debacle happened under George Bush senior, there was no debt crisis that led to the great stock market crash and following depression in the early 30s....There was no debt crisis, there was fraud, speculation, investors drank the Kool Aid and the bankers facilitated the crimes, it wasn`t a debt crisis it was the greed of the very few.

Tomorrow the "evolution" starts, the awakening of evolution, for Darwin used the word evolution and yes he was vilified by the religious zealots who scoffed at evolution, these religious dinosaurs believed that God, their own special all to themselves God placed them here, these people don`t believe in evolution, bankers don`t want people to evolve, Governments and bankers want us kept in the dark, isolated, afraid, the Bilderbergers of the world want us silenced and neutered... As for the word evolution, it also implies learning....Animals learning to survive, learning to fly, learning how not to be eaten by bears and bulls, through time and "Evolution" animals and mankind survived, we evolved to the point that we could recognize the enemy, we evolved to where we could attack threats and now with the help of technology, communications, access to voices, access to the truth, access to the internet, access to each other and with the very devices the criminals made we are once again evolving to the point that we can again spot and destroy the enemies...

The 1% that control the corporate banks and our Governments.

We aren`t alone anymore, I`m not alone anymore.

And as I peer out the window, memories, everywhere are memories, tears flow and happiness overwhelms me for without...

For without memories and tears we never lived in the first place.

Viva La Evolution!

Christy Clark`s Family of Unicorns/ Diary of a Meter Maid

Families first, Christy Clark wants you to believe that she cares about your family, well what about the family of the three hundred BC Hydro employees being laid off this week, 750 families in total will see pink slips from BC hydro..

This friends is nothing but a political game of public grandstanding.......I wan`t you to remember this fact all the way through this article..

"private power projects produce 16 per cent of domestic power, but account for 49 per cent of energy costs."

_____________________________________________________________________

Mark down August 12, 2011 as the day BC Hydro all but concluded its suicide mission, with the Campbell/Clark government and the Review Panel playing the role of Dr. Jack Kervorkian.

When you sort through the announcement by Rich Coleman and the verbose report itself, you learn that BC Hydro will cut its future costs by 50%, which in practical terms means this: Hydro will be unable to upgrade its facilities and build generators on flood control dams which means they will buy more and more power from more and more private power producers – which is surplus to their needs – buggering up more and more rivers and streams, thus fulfilling the Campbell/Clark government’s ambition to privatize power in BC.

BC Hydro, in taking all this unneeded power from Independent Power Producers (IPPs), must either export it or use it instead of its own vastly cheaper power. This means that BC Hydro will use power at at least double what it can make it for or export it at half to a quarter what they were forced to pay for it. Last year Hydro wasted $600 million buying IPP power it didn’t need – that money was our money, folks.

This comment on the report by former BC Hydro board chair and SFU political scientist Marjorie Griffin-Cohen. She said that the review – which also called for the utility to cut its proposed 50% rate hikes by half – distracts from the utility's real problem: that  the real burden of cost is the government's policy on private power. "Basically, what they have required to happen in BC is for new power generation to be in the private sector, BC Hydro to buy that and their hope was that this could spur exports of electricity to the United States," she said.

"It was a very serious miscalculation of what was going on. So what we have now is a lot of private power that is extremely costly."

Griffin-Cohen said private power projects produce 16 per cent of domestic power, but account for 49 per cent of energy costs. (emphasis added)

The much esteemed SFU professor and energy economist Marvin Shaffer had this to say:

"The real story in the review panel report, although gingerly and cautiously stated, is that it is government itself which bears major responsibility for driving up BC Hydro costs and rates. It was the government that directed BC Hydro to acquire all new sources of energy from Independent Power Producers (IPPs)

The BC Hydro and Power Authority is a Canadian electric utility in the province of British Columbia generally known simply as BC Hydro. It is the main electric distributor, serving 1.8 million customers
__________________________________________________
BC Hydro has 1.8 million customers give or take a few, giving 750 lower-end employees the boot will save ratepayers next to nothing, if everyone of those employees cost $70,000.00 per year after benefits, 300 hundred BC Hydro employees gone this week, 150 already given the boot, let`s round it off to 500 employees whacked from BC Hydro this year.....Now let`s do the simple math, BC Hydro by laying off these 500 REAL persons will save a whopping $35 million dollars per year on wages.....

35 million dollars divided by 1.8 million BC Hydro customers =.....$19.44 dollars per customer per year....And these customers are billed every 2 months, that means your average BC Hydro customer receives 6 hydro bills per year....

For if BC Hydro returned every dime of savings on human resources and reduced your home hydro bill dollar for dollar the savings every 2 months on your bill would be a whopping....$3.24 cents every 2 months or....$1.62 per month, this political exercise is propaganda at its finest, pure bullshit.....Tomorrow on the cutting edge of the ledge Vaughn Palmer and Balderdash and blue pill Billy will talk about this bloated crown corporation but not one of them will do any grade 3 math and give you the Straight Goods......

BC Hydro is paying 49% of all their revenue to private IPPs power projects for 16% of the power, if BC Hydro carries on with Gordon Campbell`s and Christy Clark`s privatization schemes and fraudulent clean energy act BC Hydro will be buying another 16% from these IPPs and consume 100% of BC Hydro`s revenues, those are the facts, that is why BC Hydro rates are skyrocketing...

The smart meters are being brought in for the sole purpose of real time billing, meaning you will pay a 3 tier rate for power use between 5PM and 10PM each night, .....This whacking of employees at BC Hydro is a farce, it will not reduce rates, well, let me re-phrase that, the firing of 700 employees at BC Hydro will save the BC Hydro ratepayer a maximum of.....

A maximum of....$1.62 per month.

There are roughly 300 meter readers at BC Hydro, those meter readers cost BC Hydro about $18 million dollars per year, the not-so smart meters are costing $1.2 billion dollars to buy and install FIRST GENERATION smart meters.......We could employ those meter readers for 60 years and still not cost as much as these First Generation Smart meters....Perhaps you wonder why I use the term First Generation, well, these smart meters are supposed to, and are theoretically designed to talk to a smart grid.....But we don`t have a smart grid, these smart meters are like having the very first Atari pong game, these phony smart meters will be replaced within a decade, a $billion.2 wasted on First Generation crap......And Rich Coleman along with his fellow snake oil salesmen have the unmitigated gall to state on the record that these smart/dumb meters will help people conserve power....

In-fact, when these devices were first proposed by Gordon Campbell the BC Liberals stated on the record that

"British Columbians, children, teenagers could look at the smart meters inside their home and see their power consumption!" snip

But then questions were asked and a short while later it was revealed that these First Generation Smart Meters would not be put inside the home but outside the home where the old existing meter is.....and..

And it gets better, for a short time later it was revealed that not only are these smart meters not going in the home but the only way to access your home`s smart meter and check on, compare, or see your power consumption you must.....

You must turn on your computer, fire up your tower, turn on your monitor and log onto your smart meter, are you kidding me!!!!....Conservation, crank up the electronics and start burning electricity to check in on your First Generation Smart meter and where is the smart grid?....The Chicken and the egg routine, shouldn`t we have a smart grid first?????...Of course we should, but then David Emerson wouldn`t be able to sell BC Hydro three newer versions of the Smart meter, and at $1 billion dollars plus per round....

A corrupt BC Liberal Government hell-bent on carrying forward Gordon Campbell`s policies, a caretaker Government with Christy Clark`s face plastered everywhere, a phony, a liar, a conwoman..

BC Hydro rates are skyrocketing for 2 reasons, IPP private power buying contracts and smart meters, everything else coming out of Christy Clark`s mouth or Rich Coleman`s mouth is a lie..

Meter readers, they drive through my community, they are eyes and ears, they report problems, they are family, British Columbians, automatic clerkless checkout aisles, selfserve gas, ATMs, technocracy, bigger mining trucks, bigger corporate profits, crewless super tankers, automation, robotics, heck, we don`t even have coal miners, those too are Asian imports....

What the hell is a meter reader?.....Have they too gone the way of the unicorn!

"long time ago, when the Earth was green,

There was more kinds of animals than you've ever seen.

And they ran about and played while the Earth was being born,

And the loveliest of all was the unicorn.

There was green alligators and long-necked geese,

Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees.

Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born,

The loveliest of all was the unicorn.

The Lord seen some sinning and it caused Him pain.

And He said, 'Stand back, I'm going to make it rain!'

He said, 'Hey, Brother Noah, I'll tell you what to do,

Go and build me a floating zoo,'

'and take some'.......

'Green alligators and long-necked geese,

Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees.

Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born.

Don't you forget My unicorns.'

Old Noah was there to answer the call,

He finished up the ark just as the rain started to fall.

Then he marched in the animals two by two,

And he called out as they came through,

'Hey Lord,'

'I've got green alligators and long-necked geese,

Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees.

Some cats and rats and elephants, but Lord, I'm so forlorn,

I just can't find no unicorns!'

And Noah looked out through the driving rain,

Them unicorns were hiding, playing silly games.

Kicking and splashing while the rain was pourin',

Oh, them silly unicorns!

There was green alligators and long-necked geese,

Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees.

Noah cried, 'Close the door because it's starting to storm,

And we just can't wait for those unicorns!'

The ark started moving, it drifted with the tide,

The unicorns looked up from the rocks and they cried.

And the waters came down and sort of floated them away,

That's why you never see unicorns(Meter readers) to this very day.

You'll see some green alligators and long-necked geese,

Lots of humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees.

Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born,

You're never gonna see a meter reader!

Families First eh Christy Clark?.....Perhaps you could expand on that!

Too Big To Fail

(A little cut n paste)

Eurozone banking collapse: Dexia is gone, who’s next?
October 7, 2011 • 10:09AM
 — To cover up the fact that the giant Belgo-French Dexia Bank went bankrupt on October 5, it was decided to avoid the word “bankruptcy” and call it “organized break-up.” Yesterday, when shares dropped dramatically by 17.24% the Belgian government decided to suspend their quotation on the Brussels stock market till Monday. Dexia’s motto was “short term has no future.” The bank plays a key role in helping some US states and cities raise funds. Concerns about its health have caused their borrowing costs to rise.
Dexia was created in 1996 when Credit Local de France merged with Credit Communal de Belgique. The company combined France and Belgium's biggest municipal lenders providing finance for spending on schools, public transport, street lighting and other locally controlled budgets. The aim was to strengthen the business ahead of the euro's launch in 1999. The single currency's introduction was expected to increase competition across the bloc's banking sector. Over subsequent years, Dexia continued to expand. It took control of the Italian lender Crediop, Belgium's Artesia Banking Corporation, the Israeli bank Otzar Hashilton Hamekomi and Turkey's DenizBank. Trouble of Dexia started when it bought the US asset management and bond insurance unit, FSA which lost big with the subprime debacle. Close to bankruptcy, Dexia was saved in September 2008 with a 6.4 billion euro bailout by France, Belgium and Luxemburg.
Besides the vast amount of old “toxic assets” conserved in Dexia’s “legacy division”, today, what provoked collapse it’s the euro crisis. Dexia has 3.4 billion euros exposure to Greek government bonds. Analysts estimate it has a further 17.5 billion euros of exposure to sovereign debt issued by Italy, Spain, Portugal and other troubled eurozone economies.
Ironically, on July 15, Dexia passed the banking stress tests carried out by the European Banking Authority and announced in a press release: “2011 EU-wide stress test results: no need for Dexia to raise additional capital”. The problem is that the tests did not take into account a scenario in which Greece might default on its bonds. Dexia has written down the value some of its long-term Greek holdings by 21%. However, some speculate that creditors may ultimately have to absorb a 50-60% loss

The Wall Street occupation, this sucker is growing and growing, finally the world is awakening, the above story caught my eye not because it`s another banking failure and bailout, what caught my eye was the fact that these thieves can`t even call a bankruptcy a bankruptcy, they are using the term..

 "Organized break up"

These effing crooks, remember these 21st century phrases....Quantitative easing(Crank up the printing press)

Austerity measures(governments reneging on every promise made)......

Too big to Fail,  how come Apache Canada, EOG resources and EnCana Gas want the residential BC hydro customer to subsidize the proposed LNG terminals in Kitimat, how come multi-billion dollar companies who are rolling in dough have stated point blank and I quote...

"The gas export plan could mean higher domestic energy prices for residential and industrial customers in the future and would crank up Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions. Yet there has been barely a ripple of protest and nobody risking arrest on Parliament Hill or on the doorstep of the White House.

In fact, the idea enjoys broad support, from politicians of all stripes to the local first nation and other aboriginal groups along a pipeline route that would bring the gas to Kitimat on the B.C. coast, where it would set out for Asia.
The Kitimat LNG project is a three-way joint venture between U.S. energy companies Apache Corp. (APA-N84.84-1.39-1.61%)and EOG Resources Inc. (EOG-N74.90-3.64-4.63%), along with Canadian gas giant Encana Corp. (ECA-T19.71-0.94-4.55%)They are expecting to receive a crucial export permit from the National Energy Board within days. A decision to proceed is expected by early next year. Gas could be on ships by 2015"

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

That above article in the Globe and Mail, they go out of their way to say how important this private sector project is for BC and Canada, they use terms like.."energy super power"....A "Key player in Global energy markets"..etc etc etc...Yet how come EnCana gas, Apache Canada and EOG resources state on the record that they will require a subsidy from both BC Hydro ratepayers and Fortis customers, if this plan is so viable why will they not proceed unless BCers sudsidize the entire operation through hydro rate increases!.....Perhaps someone in the BC media might want to ask Christy Clucking Clark about that, and perhaps some astute reporter might want to ask those 3 corporations where they plan on getting 11,000 gigawatts of power, that friends is 10 Site C dams.....

There might be 300 megawatts available from Kemano but that still leaves a shortfall of over 10,000 gigawatt hours...There isn`t enough power for 1 terminal let alone 3....Until the Hydro electric problem is resolved, and  being resolved means this....

Who the hell will be paying for the free power demands of Apache Canada, EnCana corp and EOG resources....If it means rate increases for BC residential customers and other local BC business customers then I say no...

The unmitigated gall for these multi-billion dollar per year in profits corporations to propose major industrial projects that require dipping directly into your pockets, these companies need your rates on hydro to rise so they can fatten their bottom line, those three corporations want to dam up dozens of BC rivers for their projects and they want you to subsidize their rates, in fact the hydro rate they propose to pay is zero....Families First.....Christy Clark must mean these families first!

I won`t drink the Kool Aid .....It reminds me of Jonestown!

The British Columbia Jobs Mystery

What the hell is going on in British Columbia, the latest Ipsos Reid poll has the NDP crushing the BC Liberals and the big shocker, female voters have seen the light, no, actually female British Columbians have seen the real Christy Clark and have turned away in droves, the NDP have a 22 point edge in female voters...

That number is huge for two reasons, the first reason is, when Christy Clark was appointed BC Liberal leader last spring she had all or most of the female vote, she had soccer moms and security moms but now, now she only has the Slut Walk females, the only female vote Christy Clark has retained are those who stick their asses in the air and say, look at me, look at my tight ass, look at my lips and ignore my incompetence, I am not casting any aspersion towards bubbly perky teases, but sooner rather later we will need Governance, the HST removal, resolutions on ferry fares, on BC Hydro rates, on insurance costs, every decision has been put off and delayed,  the Christy Clark slut routine might still be retaining the follow their penis male voter but her losses on the female side of the electorate are gone forever, Christy Clark has been B Bopping around the Province throwing out hair-brain ideas hoping and praying that something sticks and she can call an election, RCMP grandstanding with Ottawa, despite the rhetoric from Shirley Bond about cost control guarantees, you can`t guarantee security costs, you must police towns according to need, not to budgetary restrictions and then there is Christy Clark`s demands for cameras in court for drunks while real criminals walk because of trial delays and a new pre-election holiday(family day, and 18 months away) and permanent John Cummins attack ads, are you kidding me!!!

I want to know what is going to happen with hydro rates, ferry fares, service levels, health care, I want to know when that damn HST will vanish but all we`re getting is permanent election campaigning, how about Christy Clarkhaving photo-ops at Surrey school portables or closed group homes, Surrey needs 5 new schools today and there isn`t even a shovel in the ground, BC Liberals had no problem closing 170 schools but as for building new ones!..The Government could put thousands to work tomorrow building new needed schools in Surrey..

I along with most males really don`t understand the female mind but...But I do know human nature and one thing I learned a long time ago, "Hell have no fury like a woman scorned"....And Christy Clark has scorned female voters by simply winking and nodding and lip quivering at every photo-op and that has turned off those voters, actually it has more than turned the tide of female voters against her, the public may have allowed a few slutty Christy Clark moments but not every moment, whether Clark was cleaning up broken glass or stepping out of a float plane, there is a time and place for 6 inch heels,

Wives and girlfriends can see right through their husband`s mind when they ogle the TV screen when Christy Clark appears every night, don`t ask me why but there is always a segment of male voters who like their females ditzy and titillating, Whereas BC female voters see a pompous wanna-be premier who is out of her league and mentally challenged, a pom pom cheerleader better suited serving cocktails than pretending to be in charge of our Province....And that female voter will not be recovered or brought back into the BC Liberal fold......There will be no Pamela Martin riding to the rescue, even if Pammy wrote a couple more emails, you know she has written a whopping 8 emails so far, one per month, $20 K per email, what a racket!

This of course is really good news for the BC NDP, but what I really wanted to talk about was the latest phony jobs report from Stats Canada, something happened, the report went screwy, I`m not too sure who or how Stats Canada was infiltrated by the BC Liberals but it was done, and coincidentally the Stats Canada jobs report was released just an hour before Christy Clark was to appear on the Billy Good show, BC has been bleeding jobs for the last year, 28,000 thousand jobs gone year over year, new home construction is in the tank, Vancouver island, the Sunshine Coast, the Hinterlands, everywhere in BC is bleeding jobs,  there are but few jobs if any available so how on earth did British Columbia create 32,000 full time jobs in one month when BC created ZERO jobs over the last year!!!!!!....I believe the word CREATED is the apt description for this story!

Something happened, somehow all of BC`s teaching jobs were added to the NEW JOBS list.....And perhaps you think this is sour grapes, you would be wrong, this jobs report was, in my opinion deliberately screwed and skewed and I`m not the only one calling this jobs report FISHY!!!

Here is some cut n paste from the Stats Canada jobs report article in the Vancouver Sun

____________________________________________________________________________________________
British Columbia's full time employment surged in September pulling the province's unemployment rate down to 6.7 per cent, the first notable employment gain since July 2010.

Employment rose by 32,000 positions in B.C., according to the latest labour figures from Statistics Canada.
All of the gains in B.C. were in full time work, as part time employment fell by 8 per cent, month over month.
September's employment gains in B.C. are significant, after a year of little change.

Since September 2010, B.C. has added 35,000 jobs,(32,000 jobs last month alone, this was added by Grant G) including last month's gain. That's a 1.5 per cent increase over the last 12 months.
Employment growth across Canada in September was about four times more than what the experts were predicting.
There were 60,900 additional people employed last month, while economists had expected a gain of just 15,000.
The September nationwide unemployment rate fell to 7.1 per cent from 7.3 per cent in August. That's the lowest the jobless rate has been since December 2008.
Economists expected the rate to be unchanged last month.
Friday's positive report followed two months of stagnant job-market conditions in the country. There were 5,500 fewer people employed in August.
Breaking the numbers down by category, there were 63,800 more people with full-time jobs last month and 2,900 fewer considered part time.
The public-sector accounted for a gain of 36,900 workers, while there were 14,900 fewer in the private sector and 38,900 more people were self-employed.
Perhaps not surprisingly for the month September, most of the job gains came in the area of educational services. There were 38,000 additional people working in the category last month, Statistics Canada said.
Employment in education was up 20,000 from where it was in September last year.

Avery Shenfeld, chief economist with CIBC World Markets, noted how the education numbers also tend to skew the job numbers down at the end of the school year.
Noting the effect education had on the overall numbers, the decline in private-sector employment and losses in industries such as manufacturing that are often bellwethers of the overall economy, Shenfeld called the September jobs report "an impressive tally in the headlines, if not quite as much in the details."
Some of the other industries seeing job gains were accommodation and food services, natural resources and public administration.

Besides manufacturing, declines were seen in sectors such as finance, insurance, real estate and leasing, and information, culture and recreation.
Service sectors in general saw employment an employment gain of 54,200 people, while there was a smaller rise of 6,600 people working goods-producing sectors.

Scotia Capital economists Derek Holt and Karen Cordes Woods were also skeptical of the employment trends, despite the strong overall gain.

"Details were much softer and more mixed in the report than the headline suggests on multiple counts," noting some of the same issues as Shenfeld as well as gains in the volatile self-employment category and the fact that hours worked last month declined 0.3 per cent.

BMO Capital Markets economist Robert Kavcic said the numbers are "warding off any concern that the Canadian labour market is enduring a material slowdown," adding that it is "good news in a period of economic uncertainty."
Still, Kavcic pointed out the rate of employment growth in Canada has slowed to an annualized rate of 1.2 per cent in the third quarter from 2.4 per cent in the first three months of this year.
"With economic growth expected to remain soft through year-end, look for employment growth to remain modest as well," he warned.
Statistics Canada said employment in September was up 1.7 per cent, or 294,000 people, from where it was a year earlier. Most of the gains have been in Ontario and Alberta, and in full-time employment.

So how is it that the experts were shocked by the numbers, especially the education numbers, and is it a coincidence that this report came out 1 hour before Christy Clark played softball with Billy Good on CKNW and at the same time that the BC Liberals were starved for any good news on the employment front...

How is it BC lost 30,000 jobs in the last year and we gained every job back in the month of September, how come all these education and teacher jobs are leading the pack, how come public sector educational  jobs leads the employment gains, how is it Canada has 20,000 more teachers year over year,  how come BC Teachers are taken off then put back on the employment numbers????How come indeed, and how come no one from the BC Government can give any detailed numbers as to where the job growth came from?...Something went terribly wrong with the latest jobs report, could it be that Christy Clark pulled some Federal Liberal strings within Stats Canada??...That is exactly what I think has happened....And before I let you go,  anyone who believes I might be a little off on this story better read this story first..Some more cut n paste from the Vancouver Sun

Employment is growing in British Columbia, but likely not at the pace suggested in a “surprising” labour force report issued by Statistics Canada, economists cautioned Friday.
It is always important to take these numbers with a grain of salt,” said Thomas Lemieux, an economics professor at the University of British Columbia.

The federal agency reported a dramatic surge in the number of working British Columbians last month. Employment in the province rose by nearly 32,000 positions in September, an increase of 1.4 per cent over the previous month and the first notable employment gain since July 2010.
All of the gains in B.C. were in full-time work, as part-time employment fell by eight per cent, month over month.

Bryan Yu of Central One Credit Union said the statistics are inconsistent with B.C.’s employment trend in recent months which has hovered more closely to a difference of 0.3 to 0.5 per cent, either positive or negative. More likely, Yu said, the numbers are the result of random error stemming from the way the data are collected.
Labour force estimates are based on a sample of individual survey respondents and are subject to sampling variability

The smaller the geographic area or industry, the greater the margin of error because the sample size is smaller. “We don’t see these kinds of increases very often and generally what happens is that they are followed by some pull back due to sampling variability,” he said.
Like Yu, Lemieux questioned the accuracy of the September data, but called it a “good sign” for British Columbia

That’s a 1.5 per cent increase over the last 12 months.
Nationally, employment growth in September was about four times more than what the experts were predicting.

There is something very fishy about the latest jobs report, I suspect that Both Harper and Christy Clark have found complicit persons to abet them in this numbers fraud...I have asked Stats Canada for more clarification on the numbers, especially the teachers numbers....But as far as I can tell this jobs report was a fraud and I haven`t heard the BC Government or PAB really jump on the story, perhaps they too know the numbers are bunk!

I have a feeling that this very special jobs report was ordered up a couple of months ago in anticipation of a fall election, maybe it`s just my suspicious nature????

Christy Clucking Clark Falls into Asian Stupor/ Chinese Bubble Tea anyone?(updated)

The art of the scam, ponzi schemes, speculative fraud, call it what you want, never-the-less Christy Clucking Clark and Stephen Harper have drank the Asian Kool-Aid .

Perhaps a little math might shed some light on the fast approaching Asian economic tsunami, $40 Trillion dollars, the answer is $40 Trillion dollars, oops, I forgot to tell you how I arrived at that number...Well, I took the number 100 million units and multiplied it by $400,000.00 (400K per unit)...

Trying to get information out of communist China is very difficult, but, from talking to a few business people, scouring Google and using plain old common sense one can extrapolate what really has happened...Before I reveal how this happened and how it will unwind you must watch this first, then we will attempt to reveal the criminals..

At this time in Communist China there are almost 100 million brand new empty apartments townhouses and condominiums,  brand-spanking new cities complete with empty shopping malls empty streets and empty vision..The average prices of these units are in the range $200 Thousand dollars to $400 Thousand dollars each...And if one does a little simple math the value of these units are in the range $20 Trillion to $40 trillion dollars, and here is the biggest problem, the average income of the average Chinese person is well under $4000 Thousand dollars per year.....

There is enough brand new empty apartments townhouses and condos in China to house roughly 400 million people!

The Chinese communist Government did embrace western capitalism but with a twist, the Chinese Governments has expropriated millions of acres of land from the peasants, they stole the land with an iron fist then the Chinese Government sold the land to builders for huge monetary profits,.....Here is how they do it...
_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Finally, some local government officials have been politically motivated to create an oversupply of land and overheated real estate activity, thus diminishing the central government’s efforts to institutionalize land management and urban planning.

Compulsory Land Acquisition
The other major source of land revenues for local governments is the leasing of former farmland. Both the Chinese Constitution and the 1999 Land Administration Law (LAL) specify that the state, in the public interest, may lawfully requisition land owned by collectives, thus setting the stage for compulsory land acquisition. The local government is thereby able to acquire land cheaply from farmers and sell it to developers at much higher prices. This is a complicated process because it requires first acquiring the land, then converting it to state ownership, resettling the displaced farmers and providing urban infrastructure before finally leasing the land to developers. The law requires that peasants’ lives should not be adversely affected by land acquisition. However, this requirement is difficult to implement, in part because measures of life changes for peasants are multifaceted; financial compensation is only one of the considerations......(Read more here)

The builders/cities/districts were mandated by higher powers to build and build they did and they haven`t stopped building since, an uncontrolled wildwest building gong show where everyone along the food chain are playing the game, it`s human nature, allow unregulated capitalism in a corrupt  system where poor unconnected people have been kept down forever, town after town urged to create growth, artificial growth and all predicated on positive GDP and this result was destined to happen

The unit costs have risen and risen in price solely by Chinese speculators bidding up prices, flipping properties and engaging in the world`s largest ponzi scheme, a real estate scheme so large when this empty housing bubble bursts it will make the 2008 US housing bubble look like a minor blip, there are huge differences in the about to happen Chinese housing bubble bursting and the US housing bubble that burst in 2008, the difference is....

In the USA the housing bubble was this, people with no money, people with Mcflip jobs, people with jobs that could barely pay for a new car let alone a mortgage on a shiny new home were approved buyers!, Hell, they didn`t even require a down payment, dreamers were buying up US housing and borrowing against the escalating value, these foolish people were under the belief that these prices would rise and continue to rise forever, well, we know what happened, sub-prime loans, shady mortgage brokers and complicit banks that sold these mortgages to unsuspecting investors around the world, triple AAA rated securities that weren`t worth the paper they were written on.....But the about to burst Chinese housing bubble is different, big time different..

What we have in China is a housing bubble, 100 million empty units, the US housing bubble had buyers, the units were occupied, prices rose and rose, the house buyers were borrowing money against their homes to maintain a lifestyle of the rich and now, not so famous, the housing prices rose and rose until the banks decided they needed their money back, but in China, in China the prices are going up and up solely by speculation but...But these new housing units are empty, are you kidding me!!!.... 100 million empty housing units, think about that number, in Canada we have but 40 million people, China has enough empty housing units to house every man woman and child in Canada 10 times over.....

The speculators and the property flippers in China are playing the game with only the bank`s money, the real estate agents the investors the Chinese Government have allowed this game to be played and now bid the price and notional value of this brand new empty housing to nearly $40 trillion dollars, eventually the banks will want and need these on-paper-only dollars back!

Even if one wants to toss out the $40 trillion dollar figure(The speculative figure) and use only the cost of building these units, we are still talking about a minimum of $10 trillion dollars in unsold housing, all of China`s reserves, the US treasuries, the IOUs, even if China demanded payments of all outstanding debts of the speculators and banks and ponied up the money themselves they would still come up $6 trillion dollars shy of even paying for the cost of the housing let alone the other $36 Trillion dollars of on paper wealth, $trillions and Trillions of on paper wealth that has made its way into every bank in the world, $trillions and $trillions in Chinese triple AAA securities, where have we seen this play before? When the Chinese housing bubble bursts the world will shake and shudder and no one will even remember the 2008 hiccup..

How does this affect British Columbia, Pat big mouth Bell has been crowing about all the cheap lumber China has been buying(The wood has been used for forming concrete, not building houses)....Dirt cheap lumber, no value added lumber, a export market that has barely added any employment, also coal exports to China, coal that is used primarily for the manufacture of steel, and, and the Chinese drive a hard bargain, dirt cheap rock-bottom prices, the Chinese get the best prices on the planet with everything they buy.

Christy Clucking Clark`s entire job`s agenda plan was predicated on China not stopping, her plan was built around a housing boom ready to collapse, the BC Liberals were relying on a Chinese building boom from here to eternity but China will stop, they have enough brand new surplus housing to accommodate a staggering 400 million people, that is enough new housing to house 1/3 of the entire populous of China, and don`t those people already have homes?...And do those people have any money, well, at least no money to afford to buy $200 thousand to $400 thousand dollar housing units!....If  Chinese peasants buy these housing units the mortgages would have to be multi-generational loans, loans over 100s of years...But, are the banks willing to wait hundreds of years to re-claim $40 trillion dollars?

There is a teeny weeny possibility that China will woo the world to move in, to buy housing in China, to make Communist China the to-go place, a destination nation but I don`t think so, I think corruption and greed has infiltrated the Chinese Governments and the highest authorities in China, a ponzi scheme so large, the best experts in the world are ringing the alarm bell that there will be a Chinese housing collapse, there can be no other possible outcome, there are a few pie-eyed dreamers who say that China will move 400 million farm peasants into these units, that may happen but those people have no money and they spend half their meager earnings on food alone, how on earth could they pay these prices when they make but a few dollars per day!...And how on earth will the banks recover the extra $30 trillion dollars in speculative dollars...Money that builders and investors have created on paper?

Let me be perfectly clear, the day is coming very soon when China will come to a dead stop on building, will China build to the point of 200 million empty apartments?....The time for the complete shutdown will come sooner rather then later, some say the European meltdown will trigger the Chinese housing bubble to explode and the repercussions will make the 2008 economic fraud look like a little case of shop-lifting!...And the most shocking statistics of all.

Over 60% of China`s GDP is in home construction, in an attempt to push growth China has artificially built up housing stock merely to sustain growth, this is not sustainable when nobody can afford the housing units, for now if China stops building homes the domestic market crashes but they can`t build speculative excess forever, this puppy is in a no win situation and i`m not the only one worried, this runaway freightrain will cause devastation either way, if it stops the endless Chinese domestic growth crashes and burns....But monetary collapse is inevitable with continued building, sooner rather than later the banks will want their money back, and just like here in Canada, the building boom and economic rise of China has left 95% of its own populous behind, the rich get richer and the poor stay poor....And it`s not just bloggers who are worried, there are some big names getting worried about China....Here is some more concern from Bloomberg news

____________________________________________________________________________________________
Faber joins hedge fund manager Jim Chanos and Harvard University’s Kenneth Rogoff in warning of a crash in China.
China is “on a treadmill to hell” because it’s hooked on property development for driving growth, Chanos said in an interview last month. As much as 60 percent of the country’s gross domestic product relies on construction, he said. Rogoff said in February a debt-fueled bubble in China

China is not going to tell other exporting countries like Canada that in the near future all and or most activity will come to a shuttering halt, in the meantime Christy Clucking Clark and Stephen Harper have put all their eggs in one basket, hewers of wood and drawers of water,  resource extraction and wholesale sellouts while doing nothing for Canadian high-tech and or the domestic Canadian market, the Corporate world and Canadian politicians care only about shareholder profits and winning the next election, none have looked at the big picture or the long term....For when the Chinese housing bubble bursts BC exports to China will collapse, the lucrative BC housing market for Chinese nationals will collapse too, meanwhile Christy Clucking Clark wants to fry our rivers and environment to facilitate cheap resources to China, a market that is on the cusp of collapsing, the Chinese middleclass didn`t rise as planned, the same corporate pigs who fled to China are now fleeing to cheaper labour sources in Vietnam and Korea.....Here are some excerpts from that last Bloomberg link..

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Why Factories Are Leaving China

A labor shortage is trimming margins for exporters, who are moving to Vietnam, India, and elsewhere

As costs climbed in Taiwan two decades ago, Ben Fan moved his lighting factory to take advantage of China's cheap labor. Now, with Chinese wages on the rise, he's moving again. "It's just like what happened in Taiwan," says Fan, chairman of Neo-Neon Holdings, which sells lamps and lighting fixtures to big retailers including Home Depot (HD), Target (TGT), and Wal-Mart (WMT). "Chinese don't want to work in factories anymore."
So Fan is expanding his factory in Vietnam, where wages are $100 a month, one-third what he pays in China. He plans to shift 85 percent of his production across the border, and by December he'll have 8,000 workers in Vietnam—up from 300 a year ago—and just 5,000 in China, down from 25,000 in 2008.
Over the past two years, millions of jobs have moved to China's interior or elsewhere in Asia as factory owners try to cut costs. In Guangdong, the mainland's top exporting province, wages have almost doubled in the past three years, and more than half the factories can't find enough workers. The number of migrants who traveled to coastal provinces for work fell by 9 percent last year, to 91 million. "This lack of labor will only get worse," says Willy Lin, chairman of the Textile Council of Hong Kong, a trade association.
Factory owners complain that the higher wages are devastating profits, especially as their customers continue to squeeze them for lower prices. "Wal-Mart won't raise what they pay us," says Poh-Heng Toh,

The BC Liberals have put too many eggs into one Asian basket, the BC Government betrayed you and I, without building value added and secondary manufacturing BC will die... The Campbell/Clark Liberals betrayed everyone, the only difference between Gordon Campbell and Christy Clark is the smell of the masking perfume, more raw logs leaving BC, more coal, sending your children into a mine, every parent`s dream is to have their children work in a mine or move to the frozen north and work with gas, yippee!!  The puppet masters who control Christy Clark and the Liberals are prepared to dam every river and destroy super natural British Columbia as they ride the Chinese bubble into the depths of hell, the Chinese building boom will end shortly, it can`t be sustained and to jump in head first on the tail end of a real estate pyramid scheme and there isn`t one BC Media outfit that has the balls or gumption to tell the Straight Goods, or at very least to acknowledge the risk of relying so heavily on China, 100 million empty apartments town-homes and condos in China and growing, a fool and their money..

UPDATED HERE....From Rueters

 _________________________________________________________________________________________
In a manner typical of many infrastructure projects in China, Chengdu more than doubled the size of its planned transport hub, borrowed 3 billion yuan ($473 million) from a state bank to finance it, then set out on a blistering construction timeline that saw the finishing touches put on the project two years later.
But instead of getting the accolades they expected for helping to stimulate the economy, Chengdu Communications and many of China’s 10,000 local government financing vehicles (LGFV) have now come under a harsh spotlight for the grim side-effects of the construction binge.
China’s local governments have piled up a mountain of bad debt, some of it to finance bridges to nowhere and other white elephant projects, which now threatens to constrict growth at a time when the global economy is sputtering. It is adding to other systemic risks in China, including a sharp downturn in the property market and a rapid rise in problematic loans.
Local governments had amassed 10.7 trillion yuan in debt at the end of 2010. The government expects 2.5 to 3 trillion yuan of that will turn sour, while Standard and Chartered reckons as much as 8 to 9 trillion yuan will not be repaid -- or about $1.2 trillion to $1.4 trillion.
In other words, the potential debt defaults could be even larger than the $700 billion U.S. bail-out programme during the 2008 crisis.
Reuters reported in mid-year the government was working on a relief plan for local governments, including allowing them to tap the municipal bond market for the first time as an alternative to bank loans, which are becoming harder to get.
The risks of default are rising. Nearly 85 percent of the local government finance vehicle loans in northeast Liaoning province, for instance, missed debt service payments in 2010, an audit report posted on the Liaoning Daily website said.
But in visits and interviews at city-run vehicles around China, officials appeared unworried. They say they were only following Beijing’s directives to keep growth on track, and the central government would surely step in to bail them out.
Perhaps their complacency is justified. Beijing, which holds more than $3 trillion in foreign exchange reserves, certainly has the resources to rescue them, and has done so in the past -- it set up asset management companies to help China’s top banks clean up mountains of bad loans in the late 1990s.
But China is also vulnerable to a global downturn, and would need every piece of its economy performing well to avoid a serious slump. The infrastructure boom insulated the economy from a collapse in exports in 2008. Beijing has less firepower now. Inflation is uncomfortably high, and dumping more money into the economy would only make things worse.
Barclays Capital has predicted a global recession would trigger a “hard landing” in China, with gross domestic product sinking well below the 8 percent mark seen as the minimum for assuring enough job creation to keep up with urban migration.
A severe economic slump would depress land sales, a vital source of funding for local governments, and make their debt load even more precarious.
In Chengdu, Chen leans back on a sofa in his office, smiles and readily concedes Chengdu will have big problems covering the bills for its version of the Waterloo train station.
“We’re still unable to reflect on our accounts the problems that may arise from our investments into Chengdu’s railroads,” Chen said. “What happens next is that we may face some trouble repaying our loans when many of them come due.”
Chengdu Communications had liabilities of 18.9 billion yuan at the end of 2010 against current assets valued at 11.7

Christy Clark Caretaker Government/ The Beginning of the End

Perhaps it`s the pain, maybe sadness, more likely the source is anger, whatever the cause matters not and as for explaining it I cannot...

Clarity, unadulterated pure thought, the ability to be there in the room with my enemies as they squirm, conspire and plot to salvage not only their future but perhaps even their own lives, the day, today in particular, Shakespeare would be proud, there is another saying or phrase that comes to mind..

"All the worlds a stage"

We had a three part special performed today and from what I gather most of the media and the public bought it hook, line and sinker.....Actually, if you count the BC Liberal movie of the week we have four elaborate movies being played simultaneously,....BC Hydro.....Let`s start with that straw man whipping boy.....We had the BC Liberal review on BC Hydro recently completed, the report clearly indicated the reason for skyrocketing residential customer rates is the aquisition of run of river power, that is the elephant in the room, power buying contracts of 30 and 40 years at rates 4 to 10 times the current spot market rates, the report also mentioned that the real goal of the smart meters was for real time billing(premium cost power at family time..5:00 pm to 10:pm)....The BC Hydro review also highlighted a bloated payroll, 41% more hires in the last 8 years and some pretty good double pensions....

The BC Liberal stageplay on BC Hydro was to, through PAB press releases, through a compliant CKNW and Global TV.(CKNW did a special last Friday, the whole show was about tearing down hydro workers pensions and highlight that BC Hydro has more employees making over 100,000.00 than any other crown corporation....

I am not condoning the over generous pensions but....But can`t you see the con, the BC Liberals are trying to anger the public over salaries when the real reason the public is furious is about skyrocketing hydro rates, the public`s focus has been directed at compensation of employees rather than where the real problem lies, IPP contracts and smart meters...As for BC Hydro having the most 100,000.00 K salaries, Linemen/woman make good money and work long shifts during storms, Hydro also employs engineers, scientists and a very high-skilled workforce, compare the skills of the average BC Hydro worker compared to Translink, high-tension linemen compared to bus drivers, no offense meant to any bus drivers, the reason for skyrocketing hydro rates are the Run of River contracts, we buy high and sell low.....The Gordon Campbell legacy lives on through hydro rates..

The UBCM convention in Vancouver, the mayors and councilors will be voting on the smart meters, whether or not they will be allowed to be installed in their constituencies, first off, these mayors have no say, the people have no say, in-fact Rich Coleman after hearing about the smart meter vote at the UBCM quickly came out with a statement saying and I quote...

“We continue what we are supposed to do, and that is to install smart meters in British Columbia,” he said. “We have already made the investment, we’ve already passed the legislation in the Clean Energy Act. We have invested [as much as] $400 million so far and a resolution [by the UBCM] is not going to stop us.”

I would like to examine that statement, what does that mean...

"We continue to do what we are supposed to do" snip

Is Coleman a robot, controlled, and if yes by who?

"We`ve already passed legislation in the clean energy act"snip

You mean Gordon Campbell told the public, the media, the Province, and by his hand Gordon Campbell said smart meters get installed, no oversight, no public debate, no perusal by the BCUC, no nothing but a dictorial decree by a habitual liar and criminal and Rich Coleman said that he and his fellow law makers are stuck with it, stuck with a legislated law, stuck with a law they voted on?!....Are you kidding me, and you media, where were you, the clean energy act was rammed through the legislature with closure, debate cut off and you just stood there with empty pens and cheerleading words....And you mayors want to make a symbolic gesture, you want to side with the people, you want to grandstand with your useless vote that you all know is worthless, where were your voices when the clean energy act was proposed, if the smart meters are so damn good then why was/is the BC Liberal Government afraid of scrutiny....??..Exactly, many MLAs will live in danger, when the truth comes out, when the facts are revealed, how complicit these BC Liberal MLAs were in abetting the Gordon Campbell crimes, I wouldn`t want to be a BC Liberal MLA, especially a former BC Liberal MLA......Many have written on smart meters, the BC Liberal Ties/The Federal Liberal ties, insider deals, big stock purchases by floor crosser David Emerson...
History will judge thee BC Liberals.....Karma will take care of the rest.

Part III of this stage play is David Hahn, the man is leaving as a failure, he sank a ferry, he chased away tourists with outrageous RV and boat trailer fees, he slammed local residents with insults and even refused to honour pre-paid fares, and despite Hahn being praised by CKNW/Global news and the BC Liberals as a great CEO, the name of the game, the goal of BC Liberal public affairs army spin machine is to highlight a new paid less by tons CEO, also to highlight some tweaking of future pension obligations, a hiring freeze and an end of the sop to the $billionaire Aquilinni and through it all the root cause of BC Ferries fiscal nightmare is all but being ignored, BC Ferries is set to lose $25 million dollars this year, ridership is down to 20 year lows, our population has increased by nearly 1 million in 20 years and ridership is falling, Hahn succeeded at nothing, a stooge appointee planted to shield BC Ferries books from the prying public eyes, because the truth be known, BC Ferries could save $40 million dollars per year on interest charges on their $1.6 billion dollar starting tomorrow, all they have to do is bring BC Ferries under crown corporation status, borrow $1.6 billion dollars, pay of their debt to the German banks and refinance at 4% interest rather than the 11% they are currently paying, David Hahn has left BC Ferries in worse shape than they have ever been in, and without refinancing the debt BC Ferries will continue to bleed cash, yet the story being spun by PAB will be all about David Hahn`s transformation of BC Ferries from the dismal days in the 90`s and his altruistic reasons for leaving, the emphasis will be placed on wages of joe average worker, again the root cause of the Ferries fiscal woes will be ignored, gas guzzling defective ferries, usury interest rates on the debt and, and the big one...The $500 million dollars Gordon Campbell forced BC Ferries to borrow, $500 million that went into general revenue that BC Ferries is paying interest on, the dreaded debenture.

And the really big news today, or should I say the big lie...The BC Liberal Government employ advisors, panels, spin doctors, the BC Liberal Government also employs over 200 freaky looking PAB employees who hang all over the ministers as they speak, the largest public affairs department in North America, maybe the largest in the world, they spin the news, they have direct lines to every complicit media room in the Province.....And what are the odds that what Shirley Bond said today about the RCMP is nothing but another elaborate ruse.

I would like you to think about this.....Why would Shirley Bond say anything about the Federal Conservative Government issuing a 9 week ultimatum to the BC Liberal Government about signing a new 20 year contract with the RCMP.....Why indeed, what is the angle, what ruse is PAB plotting, first off, according to Shirley Bond the Harper Government showed the  BC government a copy of the RCMP contract Alberta and Saskatchewan recently signed and said, you get the same deal, sign it......That does not ring true, what makes British Columbia think they can get a better deal, a cheaper deal than either Alberta and Saskatchewan....This story isn`t about whether we should replace the RCMP with our own BC Police force, this story isn`t about tasering or drunken lying cheating RCMP officers,  this is not the issue.....The story is about the spin, this story is about a senior, I mean a really really old senior politician(shirley Bond) in public, starting a pissing contest with the Federal Government, and, does Shirley Bond really believe that Stephen Harper gives a rat`s ass about the court of public opinion when he`s in the first year of a 5 year majority?!...

So why was this leaked at the UBCM convention? there are over 200 members of the BC Government PAB and they let this story leak out????.....Also, why would Shirley Bond panic at this time, the Federal Government gave her until the end of November to sign a deal.....So why the pissing contest with the Federal Government?

And why hasn`t the media picked up on this, for if the NDP were in power and they started a Federal battle with three 800lb elephants on the line,  they would be ridiculed for stupidity, Christy Clark recently has been on the record as saying.
"The BC Liberal Government has always been on good terms with the Federal Conservative Government"

And maybe some of the people, maybe everybody has forgotten about the three 800lb gorillas in the room, isn`t there a tens of $billions of dollars worth of federal ship building contracts soon to be let out by Stephen Harper, and who is competing for these contracts....The HST province of Ontario, the HST province of Quebec, the HST province of Newfoundland the HST province of......Err, never-mind

So why indeed, perhaps the anger expressed by Shirley Bond today was really in response to British Columbia NOT getting any of the ship building contracts??

Think about these optics..A  Federal Government ship building contract worth tens of $billions of dollars is about to be released to 2 of 4 provinces.....BC is "allegedly" in talks with Ottawa about fast tracking the removal of the HST and then there is that little issue of the $1.6 billion dollar bribe Ottawa wants back.....Harper wants his HST foothold in Western Canada, Gordon Campbell has already been rewarded for his betrayal of British Columbia....

So with that in the background, with the BC Liberals 200 plus member of the Public Affairs Bureau controlling the message,  Shirley Bond screams the sky is falling because the Feds gave her a 9 week deadline to sign the same deal everyone else did. are you kidding me!....A court of public opinion pissing contest with the Federal Government with the HST $1.6 billion on the line and a Federal shipbuilding contract.....It was no accident.

There is only 1 possibility in my mind.... BC got nixed with the Federal ship building contract...The Federal Conservative Government told Christy Clark that the HST must remain or no Ship building contract will come BC`s way....The BC Liberals squirmed a response back to Prime minister Harper...The HST if Kept will destroy the BC Liberal party...To which Harper responded......The BC Liberals are disposable, the HST is not..

And there is also a slim chance that the BC Liberals want to make their own police force,  imagine this scenario, Christy Clark and her corporate advisers hand picking a BC Police force, her chiefs, her PR people, her priorities, as much as the RCMP disturb me, my Dad told me about the old BC Police force, and Dad  described that force like this....."The best police force money could buy"      Sorry folks, the thought of the BC Liberals assembling a police force is too much to take.

So....What we really have is the complete demise of the Conservative side of the BC Liberal party, the line was drawn in the sand today, Christy Clark is in survival mode and has but one short straw left to grasp.....She must distance herself from the Federal Conservatives and hope and pray that the Harper regime crashes and burns in the public`s eye before the next election, good luck with that!
