Well folks, the wheels have officially come off the BC Liberal bus, what a day, Dianne Watts not only said she`s out, Watt`s stated that....It`s time the Government stood up and paid the price for its policy decisions.

In other words, Dianne Watts said that Gordon Campbell and cabinet have brought themselves down, they need to feel the heat and pay the political price.....A stunning rebuke levied against the BC Liberals by Dianne Watts...

Dianne Watts, with Furlong, Keith Martin, Carole Taylor, and Emerson all out was touted to be the BC Liberals last faint hope for revival, now that Watts has stuck the shank deep in the BC Liberals heart the floodgates of dissent have opened up........

It started 2 weeks ago when the Federal Government broke off friendly relations with Campbell and rejected the environmentally destructive Prosperity mine, despite Campbell making the Tesako mine the key note part of his speech at the UCBM.....Paul Taylor and Naikun power has gone down the toilet, now the AXOR/ IPP in the Kootneys has been rejected and all but cancelled, Campbell`s muscle flexing with the BCUC is over, Campbell has lost support from the Feds, he no longer can scare the BCUC.....Soiled diaper boy is under assault on all ends...

It started heavy this morning on the Bill Good show, the over-hyped Dianne Watts interview, too bad Watt`s spilled the beans the night before on Global news(Sunday night) that she was out, Billy Boy Good did not get his scoop, instead Billy Boy was left to ask vague questions about who, what, why, when, where will the new BC Liberal saviour come from, Dianne Watts answered Bill Good with...There will be no saviour, Campbell made his bed he can sleep in it.......

And the background noise was just getting started,  Bill Bennett was on with Bill Good followed by Blair Leckstrom, both were demanding that Gordon Campbell leave office sooner than later, like this Friday at the latest, isn`t that special.....Bill bennett, a full blown racist is calling Gordon Campbell out, Bennett who has cursed at his own  constituents, he had to step down as minister in the past over his foul mouth, a man who offered to buy young people beer and teach them to vote, a MLA who ran a blatant racist ad on the front page of their local newspaper is calling Campbell`s bluff and demanding he leave, oh how far the mighty have fallen, Campbell being called out to a streetfight by a racist red neck...too funny.......

And it kept getting better, Blair Leckstrom, a BC Liberal MLA who has been kicked out of caucus, a Liberal who told Campbell to shove it has not only echoed Bill Bennett`s demand for Campbell to vacate pronto but has actually thrown his hat in the ring for new leader of the defunct BC Liberal party.....Wow, Blair Leckstrom is running for the BC Liberals on a NO-HST platform, ouch, not only will he not get the nod, no BC Liberal MLAs can endorse Blair Leckstrom without cutting their own throat, because as you know, each and every BC Liberal stood up and endorsed the HST, endorsed Campbell and stood up in the BC Legislature when the vote went down, They are all Guilty by association......

In fact, rumour tonight is that the BC Liberal caucus is going to physically throw Gordon Campbell from office and force his resignation no later than Friday, this Friday, according to the BC Liberal constitution, the party....The Liberal party and or Liberal headquarters cannot legally restrain caucus, the power of caucus and Government supercedes the BC Liberal party....In other words, Caucus can and will be tossing out Campbell well before the party votes on new leadership selection rules......Caucus has a duty to the Province, the job of Governing the people and Province doesn`t stop because of petty internal squabbles,Duty comes before appeasing the "Soiled one"


Absolute chaos in the back rooms of the BC Liberals, none of the rat pack, Ding Dong, Falcon, Coleman, Abbot, not one of them is polling higher than minus -27.....in fact Falcon is polling at a staggering -minus 40 in the latest poll,  so the Government sits in limbo, the Province sputtering, in fact Pat Bell and Gordon Campbell and the BC Government have had charges levied against them from the American Government for shipping high quality lumber hidden under cheap pine beetle kill wood, high priced lumber with big illegal subsidies, the charges laid  have said  the Province was working in cahoots with the big three forest companies to defraud and cheat the system, you remember those companies don`t you, Campbell gave them our forests for free, now big tarriffs and back tarriffs are being levied, way to go Gordo, now you Campbell have been caught screwing up our biggest trading partner, talk about leaving a skunk spray on everything you touch Campbell, these charges could cost billions of dollars!

So now Gordon Campbell has single handidly caused a billion dollar soft wood lumber dispute, from what I read there is smoking gun evidence against British Columbia, this is a very serious complaint, at a minimum there will be a $500 million dollar penalty levied against BC and the big three forestry companies,  what else can go wrong for the Liberals, lots!.....So cue Christy cluck cluck Clark, boy oh boy was she clucking and pecking away at everyone who is anti-Campbell, anti/HST...

Cluck Cluck had Vander Zalm on, Christy was almost hysterical on the air, screeching, clucking, pecking away, Cluck Cluck was saying to the Zalm......You got your referendum on the hst next September,......The premier of the province resigned....Why are you still going ahead with recall.....you are trying to bring down the government....it`s not about the hst....it`s about electing an ndp government....why why why go ahead with recall, you won all your demands.........

Yes friends, the cluck cluck was in panic mode, Cluck Cluck was saying in other words, the hst petition couldn`t succeed, but it did, you forced Gordon Campbell to resign, isn`t that enough, you want to punish the poor old BC Liberals with recall, why are you being so vindictive!!

That folks was the gist of Cluck Cluck`s argument, Clark feels that the BC Liberals have been punished enough, we should feel sorry for them.......

Well I have a news flash for you Cluck Cluck, Campbell hasn`t resigned, the HST is still here, Campbell is still here, the HST is only binding on the word of a expelled premier who will be gone shortly, so the recall will go full blast until the BC Liberal Government falls, first Ida chomp chomp Chong, if I was Ida Chomp Chomp Chong or a Victoria restaurant owner I would be very worried, Ida out of a job and the restaurant`s out their best customer, how many spend $6000 dollars for lunches over 100 days?...Sheesh, adios Chomp Chomp....

The feds in Ottawa have bailed on Campbell, the Americans are coming after B.C. and the Campbell government over hiding high priced lumber under pine beetle kill wood, the California senate has rejected BC`s run of river power, deeming it as dirty as coal, no premium will be paid, .......The BCUC have decided to fight back, Bill Bennett, Blair Leckstrom, Jordon Bateman have all called for Campbell`s resignation, Vaughn Palmer`s column today was about getting rid of Campbell by this Friday, ...Keith Baldrey sees the writing on the wall.......Besides a few newspapers and a couple of hanger-on-ers like Les Leyne and Cluck cluck there is no BC Liberal support left, even Nick(on the controls) at cknw apparantly has to screen dozens of calls to find any BC Liberal support, and that support is the BC Liberal PAB.....

The BC Liberals are dead, recall will be successful, there will be no referendum in September, the BC Liberal Government will fall well before then, the subsequent general election will see the Liberal party reduced to 5 or fewer seats, internal polling has the Liberals hard pressed to even win a North Shore riding, the party is over, turn out the lights, there will be no more free lunches Ida Chomp Chomp Chong....It`s too late ethel, the emperor is wearnig no clothes

"And the big name Dianne Watts, let me spell out it to my regular BC Liberal MLAs who read us.......Dianne Watts and her husband Brian Watts got a good thing going in Surrey, they love her in Surrey, she has no challengers, her husband Brian Watts is a `preferred` contractor and supplier for the city of Surrey....From everything I read he does good work for a decent price, his plastics company is doing just fine,  but the bottom line is Dianne Watts does not want to raise Gordon Campbell`s poison spawn babies, the hst, unsustainable tax cuts, Translink digging in pockets, car levys for over-priced transit projects with still nothing south of the border,and the tolls, those darn Port Mann tolls will crush many,with shadow tolls on the sea to sky highway you can bet the Fraser valley will expect the same relief.......massive deficits, education budgets stripped to the bone, health budget woefully short, many many seniors moving to Surrey,  BC Ferries in disarray, many questions on tax indemnity and BC Rail....Falling hydro prices with cheap power aplenty, a BC Liberal fiscal disaster!.....

Dianne Watts will not be a 4 year sacraficial lamb while the BC Liberals rebuild.........One of the four horsemen will have to throw their hat in the ring, toss Campbell aside, reject his policies and give up 4 years of life sitting as opposition, that is a best case scenario for Coleman, Falcon, Ding Dong or Abbot"

British Columbia Government takes year off

What a disaster, since July of 2009 when Campbell stabbed us in the back with the deficit lie and the HST the Government of B.C. and the business of the Province has been on hold......

The Liberal party in a special week-end meeting have decided that Campbell will stay on as premier until at least February12th 2011.....On that date there will be a convention to decide on the new leadership contest rules,.....Who cares what rules they use for electing a new leader!.....

The point being, Cambell will still be premier until mid February and probably until at least May1st..2011.....Which means a lame duck premier will bring in a lame duck throne speech and budget, why when the world is in economic flux, the US is about to flood the world with currency, the US greenback is about to deflate, depreciate, a win win for Canadian consumers shopping in the US, cheaper imports and and a high Canadian dollar, great for consumers but a death blow for Canadian exporters, a high Canadian dollar is bad news for all Canadian Governments......This could have serious implications and Governments must be ready, how does that affect the electrical trade market, new ministries and a big shuffle with everything falling under the premier`s umbrella, a lame duck defeated man holding back our Province.

So meanwhile we here in B.C......The home builders, home buyers are waiting in limbo for the HST referendum, recall campaigns are starting this week, record line-ups of credit card carrying Canadians at the border heading south, the food industry, the bar industry has been ravaged by the HST and even more so with the new drinking driving penalties.........

All this going on and our legislature has been sealed shut, another no-session fall, no bills going through, no debate, the people`s house is closed at a time when Government must be on their toes and  eargerly responsive, but what we have is a lame duck premier sitting in soiled shorts with a party of downtrodden Liberals hemming and hawing over who steers the ship over the waterfall.....

The house needs to sit, the Government must bring forward plans for when the HST gets defeated in the referendum, we as a Province are sitting in limbo waiting for recalls to bring down the government, the referendum to over-turn a tax, home builders, home buyers, investors, even plain old average Joes are waiting and wanting certainty on tax structutre, there has never been a more important time in B.C. history for a Government to be ahead of the curve rather than stalling and playing placate the soiled one until May and pension top-up day....

For a Government to put the fututre of a Province on hold while a defeated man lays in wait for his top-end pension to kick in, this isn`t a 7/11 or an ice cream parlour, 4 million people depend on Government to work on their behalf...

The BC Liberals need to send out an on-line vote on the new leadership selection process and pick a new leader or interim leader today, the legislature needs to be opened and let`s get to work, one way or another the HST is going to be defeated, ......We have a draft question for the referendum, or do we, ...Maybe we want to keep the HST..

OK, before you shoot me hear me out, maybe we can have the best of both worlds, how about we keep the HST but bring back all the previous exemptions, the exemptions on labour and food, on services, on vitamins, everything that was previously exempt becomes exempt again, remember folks the GST  is on everything, so we are only talking about affecting Provincial revenue not Federal revenue....

The low income HST credit gets cancelled, the food industry, the service industry,  those who are not charging the HST(those that are exempt) they will not be allowed to claim any input credits, ..........

So everything goes back to the way it was but the taxes remain harmonized, yes there will be a slight shortage to the BC treasury, the last 15% income tax cut Campbell announced gets cancelled and is used to pay for HST input tax credits, that`s $600 million per year and if there is still a slight shortage in the treasury we raise the PST (the provincial share of the HST) to 7 1/2 %.......

So what we would have is ........Everything thing would be like it was before, food would be exempt of PST, labour exempt, vitamins, etc etc etc.....Everything that was exempt before will be exempt again, the difference is there would be only one tax, the HST, the low income tax credits disappear, the 15% income tax cut disappears, companies and industries who aren`t charging the full HST(like the food industry) won`t be able to claim everything for tax inputs....

And the Government shortfall would be made up by raising the PST side of the HST up to 7 1/2 % and as the economy recovers, if it recovers and Government revenues rise we reduce the  pst side of the hst back to 7%..Maybe 6%...Baby steps first, restore public and consumer confidence.....Make the tax shift from business to consumer $700 million per year rather than  $2 billion.......Let`s shift over a decade, or revert to pre July 2010...Something, anything!

We wouldn`t have to hire back tax collectors, the simplification for business would remain, those who can claim back tax inputs will do so, those who can`t, so be it, ......And the Province of B.C. would theorectically keep it`s taxing authority, the ability to exempt or not exempt, industries that need help like forestry could claim input credits, small domestic companies not charging the HST wouldn`t claim all PST tax credits......

Things we use everyday without choice, telephone and cable, meals, Tim Horton`s, labour on our plumbling bills, taxes on funerals!!, strata fees, no! ......Bring back the exemptions, cut the low income HST credit, cherry pick who claims input tax credits back, possibly raise the PST up to 7 1/2 % to make up the shortfall, that and rescind Campbell`s last 15% tax cut......Campbell must resign, appoint an interim leader, recall the legislature, put ministry of finance  officials to work devising new tax stratagies, debate the options, move the referendum up to January or February 2011.....And why not several questions on the referendum....

1) Should we keep the HST or return to the GST/PST pre July2010===Yes or No

2)  Keep the HST but bring back all the exemptions that existed before July 2010  and possibly raise the PST to 7 1/2% to cover any shortfalls--YES or NO

Folks, we could have the best of both worlds, a harmonized tax system with all our previous exemptions, maybe the PST would rise a 1/2 % to make up the difference, shouldn`t we be spending the time now crafting tax policy, finance department can craft a new form of taxation, a hybrid model, one that takes care of business and the consumers, crafted right we keep our exemptions and maybe the $1.6 billion dollar bribe, we could bring back consumer confidence, a hybrid tax structure to be proud of .........

If I was premier that is what I would do, move up the referendum, put one, two, three choices on the referendum ballot, have the BC Finance department work out the different scenarios and be ready to change the tax structure within days of the referendum.......(I`m sure you contributors have some good tax policy ideas too)

That is what a responsive and responsible Government would do, we need certainty sooner rather than later, the Business of British Columbia is not to sit on hold because you have a Lame Duck Gordon Campbell sitting in his stinky soiled diapers with food all over his bib who is too cranky to change.....

Time to open the people`s house, time to appoint an interim leader, time for the finance ministry to work out one two or three different scenarios, time to ask the public........

Time to clean up stnky baby tantrum, time for his baby bath, lolly and put him to bed.......

Time for one of the four horsemen(The Rat Pack) to put the business of British Columbia first, to hell with appeasement!

It will be 29 months in this BC Liberal term by the time the referendum happens in September, the Premier and Cabinet have had over a year off, it`s time to start to Govern for the people, not to govern for diaper boy`s pension!

Remembering How to Fight

I can`t tell you how disgusted I am with Gordon Campbell and the BC Liberal Nazi Party, you think I`m kidding, I`m not, the latest lie being foisted from the BC finance ministry is a Gestapo/Nazi tactic of fear and persecution.

The Campbell Liberals are sick bastards, remembrance day, the day Veterans and free society give respect to our war heroes, alive, wounded, dead or buried, a day of respect for the uniform, a day we should remember what they fought for, freedom, democracy, they fought for the right to exist, the right to live and breathe without a tyrannical government stomping on us with "Jack Boots".....

Campbell brought in the gag law before the last election, Campbell gerry mandered ridings to gain advantage, every BC Liberal lied about the deficit and the HST.......

We, the outraged public fought back, the petition, the HST petition that the Government and stooges said would fail, but when it came apparant that the petition would succeed Gordon Campbell gets his ex-attorney General Geoff Plant to work with big industry to stop the petition with a legal challenge, we defended that attack, a few days ago, Craig James sent out "Jack Boot" letters to scare the crap out of the public, Craig James sat on this information for months about a handful of signatures that weren`t proper, big deal, yesterday the HST referendum question is brought forward, November 10th Campbell brings forward the HST question and on November 11th....On remembrance day, the day our war heroes remember their fallen friends, a day celebrated as freedom day..

On this special day Gordon Campbell ordered the BC ministry of finance and the public affairs beurea(PAB) to run with the most outrageous and contemptable lies in the history of BC designed to scare and intimidate on a scale that can only be compared to Hitler and Goebells himself, a propaganda campaign of fear and terror launched on remembrance day.....

According to the ministry of finance, a ministry who said we would have a $495 million dollar deficit maximum before the last election, a finance minister who said on the record that B.C. was in better shape than any jurisdiction in the world...the BC finance department, Colin Hansen(finance minister) have said over and over again.....

"The hst is revenue neutral to Government"........"The hst is a $1.9 billion dollar tax shift from business to consumers"......That is what Colin Hansen and Gordon Campbell have said over and over again....A finance department that has been wrong over and over again and today.....

according to Gordon Campbell`s PAB.....A campaign of fear launched on Remembrance day....

1. To remove the HST will cost the treasury over $5 billion dollars.
2. BC,s credit rating "could be lowered"
3. Income taxes will have to double to pay the for the $5 billion dollar fiscal hole.
4. MSP premiums will have to double.
5. Residential school property taxes will have to rise by a factor of 8 (8 fold increase)
6. Fuel taxes will have to rise by a factor of 6 (6 fold increase)
7. B.C. will have to pay back Ottawa $1 billion dollars
8. Relations with Ottawa "could" become un-productive
9. All other user fees including a car levy will have to be imposed on the public

All I can say is WOW.....Gordon Campbell stood up in his soiled diapers in a provincewide infommercial two weeks ago and gave a $600 million dollar income tax cut on deficit dollars, and two weeks later the treasury will be out $5 billion dollars and taxes left right and center will have to be jacked up by factors of 100%...600%..800%..Car levyies, MSP increases, all user fees have to rise if we reject the HST....What the hell is going on, what babboon is in charge in Victoria, Campbell must be on big drunk or something to even attempt to pull this off ......

What kind of bullshit Adolph Hitler Goebells scare tactics are these, and on Remembrance day....

Let`s clear up some facts, it`s a tax shift........Gordon Campball, Colin Hansen were you lying about the HST being revenue neutral for the Government for the last 16 months or are you lying today? ......

Gordon Campbell, are you and the others BC Liberals saying that if we vote against the HST income tax rates double, school taxes go up 8 fold, gas taxes up 6 fold, MSP rates to double again, .....And are you saying if we didn`t change to the HST our credit rating was to be lowered?......

I won`t tear up contracts, We won`t sell BC Rail,.......You won`t raise the minimum wage, you lead the Nation in child poverty, and now you Gordon Campbell and all BC Liberals are threatening to raise taxes on BCers, not little increases, you`re theatening to tax the effiinng hell out of BCers as retaliation, taxes that would drive people out of the already most expensive Province to live in, Hitler must be proud of you Gordon Campbell, one of Goebells finest, did you learn this tactic of pure fear at the Bilderberg conference or is it a natural gift?...

Friends, these are the actions of a demented vindictive child mind, Gordon Campbell, the spoiled child wearing soiled diapers having a temper tantrum, their throwing mud everywhere hoping something sticks .......

You see folks, Carole Taylor has said no, Dianne Watts will be saying an official NO on Saturday, Furlong is out, the BC Liberal rat pack have been scewed by following Campbell, and now Campbell is prepared to do what he does best, punish the poorest people, frighten children, reminding rufugees of hiding in attics and underground holes to avoid capture and retribution from the Gestapo......

These documents from finance are lies, there is no provision in the HST referendum for HST refunds, therefor big business will keep their HST input credits for that period of the HST, the public won`t be getting a refund, .....Legal aid has been gutted, BC Rail trial was a fraud, democracy has been stolen in this province by you Gordon Campbell....

But today, November 11th/2010......You Gordon Campbell have launched the dirtiest fear mongering campaign in B.C. history, all based on lies and spin, your campaign is designed to scare the public from here to your hell, a campaign of fiscal lies on top of older lies surrounded by a sea of your lies.....

The veterans fought your ilk Campbell, they fought Hitler, they fought dictators, they gave life and limb for a future free from the likes of you, to Govern with retaliation as your last weapon.

Campbell should apologize and resign today, the BC Liberal party must denounce this campaign and rein Campbell in, if they can`t see that their dear departing leader is threatening the public, no mandate, no financial facts to back up these claims, contradicting facts, terrfying voters with bluster and drivel, painting a doomesday scenario


Go ahead Colin Hansen, Gordon Campbell, threaten all you want, your referendum won`t see the light of day, Recall in the fall until your spineless corrupt Government falls, and fall it will....

By the way Ian Bailey, business gets to keep $1.9 billion in HST credits  or more for the period of the HST, that will more than offset the cost of a change over.

 The timing and entirety of the PAB press release was meant to freak the hell  out the people, Put in context with the letters sent from Elections BC(Jack Boots messaging)...Jack boots, heavy hand, fear, I do not make the light of the words Gestapo, Hitler, goebells, but what other Government in B.C. history has retaliated against the public out of spite and anger, the words and the actions make no sense, Campbell had $2 billion dollars for tax cuts two weeks ago, he knew the referendum is coming, now every tax in the Province is going to skyrocket, take away low income tax credits and Jack up taxes if the HST goes, a revenue neutral tax.....Something is very very wrong with this government! 

Think outside the box folks, the finance department did a compete study on the costs to get out of the HST, the information is sparce and subjective, then the information gets released to a Globe n Mail reporter  in  freedom of information request????  The B.C. government releases nothing and this reporter on this day gets hypothetical scenario briefing notes, not actual numbers just reported spin, the day after the referendum question comes out, and no actual audits of claim.

The Bastards Just Won`t Quit!

I get the distinct feeling that a certain radio station has been going out of their way to fight and lobby for the losers we`ve put away in the last year.

CKNW has had on Gordon Hogg, Randy Hawes(new mining minister)...Mr Cobb from Williams lake and today the head honcho of Tesako mine was on with Cluck Cluck Clark...

Sheesh, I heard through the grapevine that cknw has targeted our site and specifically our little wins against the giants of industry and have made it personal, I was stunned too when I heard it, as you know last week the Federal environmental gave a scathing rebuke of prosperity mine in the Caribou, the report talked of laying waste to a 35 kilometer area, adverse affect on the watershed, ground water, leeching of heavy metals, not to mention bear and wildlife habitat and the total eradication of Fish Lake, it would take millennia to heal these scars, the federal assessment considered the scale of destruction against an offset of economic activity, there was no contest, the mine was a  no-go..

WE WON!!!.....Or did we?...The province, our mining minister, Cobb the clod in Williams lake, Tesako shareholders, I hear the same argument from this group.... Yes there will be an environmental footprint but the area needs jobs, with the downturn in forestry and the pine beetle the area is in serious need of jobs..........

Hawes, Hogg, Campbell, Cobb, Tesako, cknw, these people, do they actually hear what they are saying, the gist of their argument is...We can screw the environment and ignore environmental assessments as long as there is a need for jobs!........Because of our failing`s in forestry we BC Liberals will poison watersheds for jobs.......Any big industry needing a permit the only criteria is jobs, the environment can be sacrificed......What better way to get carte blanc permission to destroy our province then by shutting down our mills and creating unemployment.....What a slippery slope, Gordon Campbell threw the actual environment out of the provincial asessment, the criteria was jobs, formaldehyde levels killing people in Prince George last year, the criteria was jobs, have these people no souls?

Is that the criteria, Gordon Campbell`s leadership has led to 50,000 direct forestry jobs gone, let`s use the multiplyer effect like Tesako and the BC Government do, call it 200,000 jobs related to forestry and 76 mills closed since Campbell sold out our domestic forestry, gave away TFLs for nothing, a 20 fold increase in raw log exports since 2001.....Yea that phony Pat Bell is always saying...The raw logs shipped are in excess of our domestic needs, therefor they can be exported.......Well well well, cut 5 million trees when you know we need 200,000 at most, shazzam, excess logs for export, it`s a muggs game, numbers and BC Liberals, these lake killers are using a dead and tanking economy as an excuse to wreck havoc on the environment....

Think about it...think about what they are saying, eveyone of the above mentioned stooges have said ...If the economy was better and forestry was strong we would never dream of destroying Fish Lake!...

That is what they are saying, it`s sad, really sad, the CEO of Tesako on Bill Good`s show today and he said they have been trying for 17 years to get approval for this open pit mine....That is how bad this project is, how toxic, but it got me to thinking, how much was gold per ounce 17 years ago....$200 per ounce, wages for workers were about the same as today, Corporate taxes are way lower today than 17 years ago, so 17 years ago the only way the prosperity mine could make money was with a free lake to use as a dump,  even over the last few years when the BC environmental assessment was a forgone conclusion, Gold has lept over a $1000 dollar and is now $1400 per ounce, yet Tesako in their latest economic conclusion was, they needed to be able to use Fish Lake and a free dump or the project wouldn`t be economically viable.....

That is hogwash, Tesako could have spent the last 5 years making their own pit, they could mine with dry tailings, the price of Gold is so high they could mine it differently, and in fact, that is exactly what the head of Tesako is saying on the radio today, Tesako wants to present and forward a different business plan, one that doesn`t destroy Fish Lake......That is real funny, only after the scathing rejection from the Federal Government did Tesako say...Whoa, hey, we`ll come up with a new plan, we were kidding about the lake!......

Why the hell didn`t they change their business plan before,.....Greed, the provincial environmental assessment was a fraud, Tesako knew that, Tesako and the BC Liberals thought they could hoodwink the Federal environmental review, the Federal gov also approved the mount Milligan mine(why mount Milligan and not Prosperity?) Prosperity mine is just that bad and nasty!,.....My hats off to Jim Prentice and the Federal environmental asessment department, you played by the book, bravo....

Could you imagine, Gordon Campbell has been pushing to eliminate the Federal assessment, if the dictator got his way we would have a spoiled watershed and toxic water, water that is an integral part of the mighty Fraser river, home of our Salmon......

We kicked the stuffing out of Paul Taylor and Naikun wind power, Campbell brings Taylor back as his chief-of-staff and number 1 bagman, Yea, Paul Taylor needs a paycheque, Fish Lake, we blasted them, a slam dunk, yet cknw, Bill Good, Christy Clark, and upper management, they vowed to fight for Tesako, bring on Randy Hawes, Hogg, the CEO of Tesako, Cobb, ex mayor of Williams lake, everyone of them has been given a soap-box and audience courtesy of cknw.....Personal, you bet it is, Naikun, Fish Lake, Cluck Cluck and Bill Good, have you heard them lately, everyday they have been complaining about the bad bloggers, the looney left, the conspiracy theorists, the whacko`s....CKNW has been trying to resurrect Prosperity mine as a personal dig directed at me, and to help  Campbell`s friends.....

Well bring it on, Tesako and Prosperity mine is dead, go find another corrupt government to bribe, cknw....You don`t get it, Campbell lost his power with the Feds, Campbell is toxic, a tired hated old man wearing dirty diapers stinking up everywhere he goes, no one wants him around.......

The Dance of the Dying Liberals

I can`t tell you how much I enjoy seeing the Campbell Liberals thrashing around and flailing away, it reminds me of John Cleese(Faulty Towers) beating his car with a tree branch(maybe the remaining Liberals will goose step their way into the next legislative session!)........

The rest of Canada must be laughing at us, a broken old lying premier clinging to power like a baby to a security blanket, an old silver haired prevaricator sitting in soiled diapers stinking up the joint and no one will change him,  a spineless batch of Liberal cabinet ministers who are too afraid to let go their grip on the conga line, as such they followed Campbell into the depths of hell.....Their new tough drinking laws have backfired on the economy, the hst has chased sales south, sales east and spiked the underground economy, consumer confidence is in the tank and nobody in the Liberal party has the courage to take ownership and heat for endorsing everything Campbell proposed without question........

It has come to my attention that the Effinngg beuracrat Craig James, the flunky, "The Temp" has sent out thousands of intimidating letters to people who may have signed a petition more than once, mean nasty letters in the form of ..."Jack Boots".......$10K fine or 2 years in jail for this offence, can you imagine, we lose a railway through Campbell lies and fraud, a corruption trial with $30 million in legal fees, the two defendents plead guilty, owe millions in legal fees, breach the public trust, ignore their oath, they get 2 years of going to work, going shopping, going for walks, going to the gym and sleeping in their own beds and Craig James flunky threatens the public with 2 years in jail for maybe signing a petition twice, Craig James has sat on this information since last summer and he waits until the eve of recall to fill mailboxes with a stern warning from a "Jack Boots"...Government, illegal gag laws, big corporate legal challenges and now Gestapo tactics!

As a canvasser I had a man who signed my petition really drunk(a friend brought him from the local pub to sign the petition), his signature and information was a mess, I didn`t count it in my daily total, the following week he signed again, this time sober, his information was perfect, Elections BC has not contacted me, my turn in sheets were perfect, and also, I had people say they signed Bill Tieleman`s on line anti-hst petition, I informed the people that Tieleman`s on line petition had no standing, they had to sign the real physical official petition ....1/3 of 1%  fraud, who`s to say it wasn`t BC Liberal voters trying to screw up the petition,....It doesn`t matter, the "Jack Boots" ...Correspondence was out of line, I am calling for the immediate dismissal of Craig James for his actions....Who authorized this response, did Campbell or Hansen or the Attorney General office have any knowledge of these letters being sent,.....Someone must answer, reconvene the legislature and remove Craig James...That was sick, Gordon Campbell must answer that question, who authorized Craig Jame`s actions and ordered it done now, why was it timed like that.....

Falcon is praising Carole Taylor, others are begging Dianne Watts, John Furlong has been asked over and over again, a tired old ugly Gordon Campbell sitting on his nest of poison egg policies guarding them like a mother goose, no courage from within, Coleman, Abbot, Ding Dong, Falcon, all of them thrashing and flailing their head and arms like Elaine Benis dancing in an old Seinfeld re-run, the BC Liberals are desperate for anyone, a superstar to keep their party`s chances of even being the official opposition alive, ......There will be no superstar....

Carole Taylor is old and tired, Falcon can beg and drink champagne out of her slippers and Carole Taylor still won`t  come on board, ....Furlong would rather have all his teeth pulled over being called names in opposition,...Others have even mentioned Christy Cluck Cluck Clark as a possible Liberal leader, I would love it, considering all the lies Clark has said on air, her bizzaar statements attacking teachers, attacking road-side memorials, her attacks on the town of Tofino, I have so many braindead statements from Cluck Cluck that her polical future is all but dead, how much money did David Hahn deliver to the BC Government, $400 million..$500 million..$600 million, what was your on-air retraction Cluck Cluck...

And the big name Dianne Watts, let me spell out it to my regular BC Liberal MLAs who read us.......Dianne Watts and her husband Brian Watts got a good thing going in Surrey, they love her in Surrey, she has no challengers, her husband Brian Watts is a `preferred` contractor and supplier for the city of Surrey....From everything I read he does good work for a decent price, his plastics company is doing just fine,  but the bottom line is Dianne Watts does not want to raise Gordon Campbell`s poison spawn babies, the hst, unsustainable tax cuts, Translink digging in pockets, car levys for over-priced transit projects with still nothing south of the border,and the tolls, those darn Port Mann tolls will crush many,with shadow tolls on the sea to sky highway you can bet the Fraser valley will expect the same relief.......massive deficits, education budgets stripped to the bone, health budget woefully short, many many seniors moving to Surrey,  BC Ferries in disarray, many questions on tax indemnity and BC Rail....Falling hydro prices with cheap power aplenty, a BC Liberal fiscal disaster!.....

Dianne Watts will not be a 4 year sacraficial lamb while the BC Liberals rebuild.........One of the four horsemen will have to throw their hat in the ring, toss Campbell aside, reject his policies and give up 4 years of life sitting as opposition, that is a best case scenario for Coleman, Falcon, Ding Dong or Abbot....

The more likely story that will play out will be, Kash Heed bi-election...bi-elections in Caribou, Comox Valley, Oak Bay, Kamloops north, Point Grey.....Those loses to the NDP will result in a general election with Campbell still their leader, or one of the horsemen, either way.....

You can bob and weave, twist and shout, you can piss in the wind, you can pray for a natural disaster but all you are really doing is........A perfect Elaine Benis Liberal Death Dance!

One For the Road

My trips into the big smoke, living in a small town, the contrast is amazing, we have no taxis and no bus service, the nearest bar is a 25 kiliometer round trip, as such I rarely drink except at home with company or on my little boat on a nice day........

But my trips into big medicine town is a little different, nothing more pleasurable than running rocks on the felt or tipping a glass over a barbecued sockeye and yorkshire pudding(thanks Neil) at friends, so now bring on this new drinking driving law, as a large person, 6 feet and 235lbs I could easiliy consume several without blowing anywhere near 0.5  But in my distant past,  my generation, it was different, it was wrongly accepted, the police would pull you over and say slow down and drive safe, as long as you weren`t staggering and falling down you were told to carry on, .......

Bars like the Eldorado, the American hotel, the Admiral, Lougheed hotel, the Biltmore, strip bars with large full parking lots, bikes and trucks and beaters galore, you weren`t drunk if you could pay your bill and still walk out, sometimes crawl out, my generation took full advantage, 10 cents for a glass of beer, terry towel table cloth covers and order em by the 10s....Yee haw, let`s go cruising, I was lucky, no accidents, I could drive straight as an arrow with ease, an acquired gift, a knack, no, high tolerance to alcohol, but that was a long time ago, decades ago, crowded roads and too much road carnage for that same reality to exist today, ......It`s not easy for my generation, we had no facebook or internet, we didn`t tweet or even phone each other, we got together for human contact, the booze joints, the pool hall, the Kegs and Sir loiners, the legions and neighborhood pubs, ......Times change.....Times must change.....

We had an olympic party, tens of thousands of drunks making asses of themselves partying in the street, no one drove drunk, well almost no one, the BC Liberal MLA Jane Thornthwaite drove while plowed over....

So the hst shit hits the fan, restaurants and food joints take a hit, bring in the new booze law, 0.5 and you get big fines, lose your car, a huge headache of hoops to jump through, the public pulled back big time, worse than the hst, this new booze law was cutting into the gravy of the food industry, there are empty bars, barren eateries, lonely parking lots, two things are happening simultaneously, people are going for food only, dine and dash with no booze, instead of a few glasses of wine and cocktails its dinner with water, booze is consumed at final destinations, the blow to the industry is crushing........

So to my amazement John Les(The disgraced one) was on Bill Good today promoting the HST when he blurted out that the Government was going to re-look at the new drinking driving penalties, John Les talked of police officers playing choose me, choose me game and be more selective with impoundments and road side suspensions....

I was flabbergasted, which cars that have drivers at 0.5 and 0.6 and 0.7 does he let carry on down the highway, when is law subject to discretion, .......The law can`t work, drivers, ladies, men, seasoned drivers, empty stomachs, wet roads, dark damp icy streets, which drivers, who wins the lottery, who drives head long into the obit column.......

So on my trips into the big smoke, I pick up a few beers and a little irish creme(I have a sweet tooth)....We eat drink and be merry, we talk, argue and live life, good food, good friends and the latest news stories and political gossip, we don`t drive, we walk, we taxi, we have a designated straight driver(s), and you know what, all my friends are doing it, the public is ready for the new law, my friends have more money, lots more money, no bars no Keno, no texas hold-em, no pull tabs, no huddling out on a sidewalk having a smoke, yes I have many friends who smoke, my generation smoked too....

So my group doesn`t drink and drive, their saving money, keno is on the computer, I will never give the mounties money for seat belts, cell phone use, speeding, drinking, I  toe the line....That genie can`t be put back in the bottle, I was amazed by John Les talking, he`s not even a minister, but later today Solictor General Rich Coleman confirmed what John Les said....The B.C. government is squirming to find an exit stategy from this one, ....

Rich Coleman talked about a couple to a few glasses of wine with dinner, Coleman talked about education, what Coleman was talking about is hogwash....Like I said earlier, some people can drive like pros while gassed, other petite ladies could be bombed on one glass of wine, an empty stomach, someone who like me drinks rarely, once a month, what about liquor reacting to medications, there is no hard and fast guideline but one...Blow 0.5 and above and pay dearly, the gall of Coleman to suggest police officers pick and choose who pays and who doesn`t......

The B.C. Liberals are getting heavy pressure from the elites of the world, from the bar and restaurant owners, the head of the restaurant association was on with Christy Clark today, he asked the Province(BC Government) to return to the old drinking driving rules...I was shocked, the same day Carole Berner was in court hearing impact statements from crushed family members Rich Coleman/ Christy Clark/ John Les/John Macolm and the restaurant association are howling for the removal of these new penalties and a return to casual drinking and driving laws of yore......

Carole Berner is exactly the type of person the restuarant industry want back, in the sting operation against Carole Berner on hidden camera she admitted to having three glasses of wine before driving, a rural road, driving too fast, a little girl, a grandmother, a horse and horrific tragedy, a couple of glasses of wine and one for the road, what will Coleman do, announce we are returning to the lax drinking driving laws, the old laws, political suicide, can you picture the restaurant ad campaign, have a few drinks at lunch, do it for the economy!

It`s too late for that, no Government can undo that law, suck it up restaurant industry, you supported Campbell, you rallied to keep minimum wage frozen, I cry you no river, the law will not be reversed, the public will never return to that level of drinking and driving, the public have learned to enjoy a meal without the cheap booze and heavy bill, your food and price will have to draw your customers, casinos, BC lotteries, bars, restaurants will all get hammered, and we get to blame it all on the HST....

One for the road, the first thing to go is judgement, two to good friends, three turns to four and five turns upside down in the ditch...My ex lost her parents at age 5 to a drunk driver, I lost several friends and relatives to sauced up drivers, time to move on, any BC Liberal wannabe leader who flip flops on the new drinking penalties will seal their fate in history.....One death is too many, whose daughter won`t make it home tonight, what paramedic will have to scrape brain matter off the windshield.......Who will receive that phone call at 4:00AM

A Little Bit of Straw

Fascinating times to say the least, US mid terms, Toronto mayoral race, New Brunswick Provincial election, upcoming Ontario Provincial election and the slow burn of the now defunct B.C. Liberal party........

I remember when Ronald Reagan became president, the war on the middle class started, Reaganism, Thatcherism, wealth transfer, I hear economists everyday trying to explain the funk the world is in, currencies, deficits, mergers and aquisitions, markets up, markets down, , the Levy`s and Michael Campbell`s of the world, the Fraser institute`s all pipe the same tune, people have too many entitlements, pensions, benefits must be cut, ....Corporate taxes must be lowered and lowered, a healthy corporation makes a healty economy......

Well friends, we are at a crossroads in time, the ulimate battle of good versus evil, class war fare, corporations against democracy, ..........In the 70s there was manufacturing, lifetime jobs, buying power was never stronger, minimum wage could buy you a life, an apartment and savings, goods and services in almost perfect equilibrium to the pay scale, a man would work(wife would stay home)....One income was sufficient to buy a home, pay services and leave a little nest egg, 5 to 10 percent% interest at banks, health care,  worker to CEO wage difference was maybe a factor of 5 to 10......Reagan.... bust the unions man, the begginning of the end, bit by bit everything workers and humanity built was being clawed back......

Private pensions started to dry up at the same time corporations moved to slave labour countries, it started with a trickle, it continued with George Bush senior, the wealth transfer, the S&L scandals(savings and loans), don`t you remember folks, the biggest financial swindle and bail out at the time  was under George Bush Senior, all the banks had to be bailed out at taxpayer`s expense...The left, democracy kept fighting back, 80s....90s.......The continual push by corporations and banks, derugulation, by the 90s unions worldwide are in a collapse, wages, real wages have been flat for almost 15 years, and in many places wages have declined, manufacturing in the US is now all but dead, Corporatitions are fat with cash, they have never paid lower taxes yet every government including Canada have been racking up debt and now the final push from the world power brokers to claw back every penny from the people, from Europe to Iceland to here in Canada........

The bubbles, the burst and the river run dry, the people are angry, Tea party activists, Reagan started the spiral down hill, Bush senior continued, George Bush junior sealed everyone`s fate.......

The workers, the American mind set, for years the likes of Lou Dobbs bitched about outsourcing and the eventual collapse of the American way, George Bush and economists talked about the US being a service based economy, what does that mean?....I haven`t figured out yet...........So now the American consumer, your average Joe no longer has a job for life, he has no private pension, wages are flat, the previous Dot. com bubble wiped out trillions of invested dollars.....The US public had what left to rely on for prosperity?....Interest rates were flat, wages have declined, no return on money, no savings, the American consumer fled to the last bastion of security and wealth growth, ........

Maunfacturing was gone, private company pensions are gone, strong unions are toast, interest rates are zero, bombarded with ads, consumerism, credit, plastic, don`t pay for a year, everyone qualifies, a housing pyramid was created, from the mortgage brokersto  Wall Street, hedge funds, banks, everyone was in on it....Housing rose and rose, the Americans with no money but wallets stuffed with credit cards, house equity borrowed on, again and again and as long as houses went up forever life would be good but everyone knew what was about to happen...POOF......KABOOM...PLOP..PLOP..FIZZ\..,.FIZZ.........And it was all over......

Wall street and the money boys collapse the world economy, pure greed with trillions siphoned and placed into a few pockets, derivatives, credit default swaps, financial instrument, securities based on thin air had been flogged around the world, everyone and their dog in on it! And when the shit hit the fans the Wall Ball boyz come hat-in-hand asking for trillions of dollars or else they will destroy the world!......

And now the American dream is gone, no private pensions, no jobs, 0 interest rates, wages flat for decades, credit gone, equity gone, the ATM machine in one`s home is out-of-order  but more importantly it`s the vision and hope that is gone.....And along came Obama, the hope, the future, those wall street bastards caused the economic collapse through greed, fraud, bribes and pure piggery from the top down and Obama came to save the day and.......

The Republicans, the corporation, billions of dollars spent to obstruct democracy, stop healthcare, Obama promised a dream, or at least promised to fight for a dream and he came up against a brick wall, the beast of corporatism, the Michael Levy`s, the Campbell`s, Fraser institutes, the Republicans, Obama had the house, the senate and the Whitehouse but Corporate America, the insurance lobby, big oil, Wall Street  stopped the dream in its track.......

George Bush Junior open the flood gates and swamped Obama land before he landed, the Tea Party is confused, the electorate is confused, the Limbaugh`s, the Beck`s, the democrats are mad because Obama didn`t deliver, he couldn`t deliver, $10 billion corporate dollars spent on mid-terms, the tea party secretly funded by the same corporations and Wall Street firms that sold out the American people....

New Brunsick premier Shawn Graham betrayed the people during this firestorm in time and even when he was forced to back off on selling NB Power couldn`t revive the Liberals, he was crushed in their Provincial election....Mr. Ford in Toronto, an anti-establisment guy who rode a sea of dissent to power, Dalton McGuinty in Ontario will be flushed from power in less than a year, the tea party movement removed democrats and establishment Republicans, granted the movement is confused, the bottom line is the tide of dissent  was driven by anger....Anger towards appeasement to the corporation, here in B.C...in Canada, in the US....The internet has changed everything, the public see what has happened, CD Howe institute, big banks, Fraser institute have had their way for decades and it`s been downhill for the middle class ever since....Wages flat, pensions gone and or not guaranteed, the beating of the drum on Canada pension and health care meanwhile corporate coffers are stuffed with cash, record bank profits, 5 $trillion dollars held by the S&P companies.....

Nourial Roubini and a few others can see the future, most can`t, there will be no US recovery, the jobs of scale aren`t coming back, the American consumer, the average Joes need a new dream, the market is gone, saving`s in a little bank account are gone, meaningful jobs are history, pension both government and private are slim to none, health care is being threatened and the dream of the home providing both a warm bed and financial lollypop are gone, the USA can`t recover without the people finding new wealth, it`s not going to happen......

We have reached a crossroads in modern society, we fight for tommorow and win or give up your children`s future....

B.C. will not buck the trend, the establisment party(BC Liberals) will be thrown out, Dianne Watts, John Furlong, whoever will not change a thing, the road to victory today goes through "the people come first" platform........Well  NDP....Have you found the cheese yet?

Corporation Bush left Obama  armegeddon and a no win situation, Gordon Campbell is leaving B.C. in financial tatters....The Straw that broke the people`s back........

Millennium Development Nearing Default on Massive Loan

Mayor Gregor Robertson has stated.... The city is busy chasing down all of Millenium`s assets as security before they default on their massive loan, .......This is huge trouble for Vancouver, Millennium Development wants to slash the prices of the units in an attempt to raise some money, any money, but if the prices get lowered to the point where they sell Millennium will be short as well, damned if they slash damned if they don`t.....Toobad Millennium development has no assets, just ask the city of Nanaimo, or maybe their board of directors can point the city of  Vancouver to Millennium development`s assets, oh yea, they didn`t have one!....

The Ladner/Sullivan/NPA deal is about to come home to roost, good thing juice boy has a coop ready....Read the story here, make sure to read between the lines

Did you catch that Ipsos reid polling last night on Global, in their poll they rated each potential new liberal leader...And no one from within the party scored above minus -20 ...Hansen minus -40...Falcon -35...Coleman minus -27...De Jong -25......Carole Taylor polled +21%....Furlong  polled +20....Dianne Watts a +30.....Well, Carole Taylor has a new gig at UBC and is out, confirmed out...John Furlong spoke today and stated.."NEVER'..."Too toxic"..."No Chance".... Dianne Watts will be passing on the job, she`s young, no challegers in Surrey, Watts does not and will not sit in opposition for 5 years...

Because friends, no leader can save the BC Liberals, you see those poll numbers, the lemmings allowed Campbell to run the party off a cliff, every Liberal stood up and praised Campbell and the hst, rejected raising the minimum wage, refuse to help relieve child poverty, bit by bit services and resources have been taken from public and handed to Howe Street,...... guilt by association, Dianne Watts and ANY new potential leader can reads polls as well as me, the public is looking forward to punishing Campbell and the party, the thirst for revenge will not be satisfied with anything less than political annihilation, it`s just human nature, look what happened with Shawn Graham in New Brunswick, even when he backed off of selling NB Power, the public didn`t trust him and sent him packing, Dalton McGuinty will be turfed within a year in their election, down south the tea party wreacked havic, right or wrong the establishment is being sent a message, don`t listen to the public and pay the price,  pack your bags your outta here, that is the message.......B.C. will not buck that trend...

We are really getting under their skin......And I got to thinking, who is libelous on the web....Is  Ian Reid libelous, how about Ross K, does Ross K say anything libelous????....What about BC Mary, Mary went out of her way to keep her site fact based and non-political, her site was the  start and end of BC Rail tragedy saga, and she`s still fighting to get it back....What about Kootcoot, besides his colourful description and raw passion there is no libel, in fact friends you won`t find anyone on my blog roll who writes libel...Yet Bill Good lumps us all together into the nasty pit, look at Norman Farrell...A master of putting contracts  together with the players, Farrell uses numbers and research while he delights our eyes with verse and form, all the while he pokes and jabs with subtle silent barbs directed at the Government, the Tyee doesn`t libel, ...Terrace daily and Island tides news are accurate and fact based reporting, .....And then there`s us, the Straight Goods, I`m glad we got their attention because without the bloggers with guts  nobody would write criticism like this......

Yesterday CKNW was promoting the interview Bill Good was to have with Campbell this morning(8:30am).....What a scoop, a retired premier and 1/2 hour to grill him with questions, yea right, batting practice for Campbell while Billy Bob Good lobs the beachball......So lets see, what would be say a top three of questions to ask a departing premier....How about.... 

"Premier, you tore up the HEU contract in your first term, you said you wouldn`t, you sold BC Rail but said you wouldn`t, and you brought in the hst when you said you hadn`t contemplated it"..

Yes friends, Bill Good covered those three huge topics with one long question(the one above) and the premier responded back on those huge stories with one short vague answer below....

Bill, the HEU contract wasn`t a patient based contract, we put patients first, BC Rail we still own the railbed and it`s created hundreds of millions of dollars worth of economic activity along with a boon to our entire province, and as for the hst, there isn`t one shred of evidence that we were considering the hst before the election.

  Wow, what an interview, BC Rail with the first and only raid on the legislature and 7 year mock trial, the HEU battle all the way to the supreme court of Canda where the union won a $100 million dollar settlement(and the largest mass female firing in Canadian histrry,9000 women)....And the HST with documents available with smoking gun proof that the HST was planned well before the election....Oh indeed folks, the great interview, three historic landmark B.C. disgraces, a Premier who has hid behind.."It`s before the court, no comment"....And billy Bob Good covered those stories with one question asked and answered in less than 2 minute......AMAZING!!!!...That`s it folks, that was the extent of questions on BC Rail, HEU, HST.......The rest of the interview was Campbell telling everyone how much he loves them, loves his family, how much caucus loves him, yes folks, one question and a radio lovefest....

Boy oh boy Billy Good, I`m sure you will be nominated for a Webster award for that hard hitting interview, ......And you wonder why the bloggers and real media laugh and scoff ....Enjoy your Webster award or Pabster award...or both, powerful stuff Bill Good..........Not!

Gordon Campbell is gone, or is he?......Man oh man have the political pundits been yapping, stooges from the right have been wandering dazed and confused trying to make sense of what`s happened.....Time for the Straight Goods....

What a croc, here`s the deal, Gordon Campbell wants the 1 year slow troll resignation, Trudeau, Clark, Bennett, Zalm, when their time was up it was up, they left, Campbell is that unwanted party guest who is still there in the morning, ......I listened to another short press conference today with questions from a lack luster invited media to the departing disgraced premier and what lame crap questions they asked...

Vague Questions on trivilalities and look backs , no questions on the BC Rail tax indemnity, no questions about next years hst referendum, no important questions on the future, does Gordon Campbell think he can hide in the back benches and limbo under the microphone for a year while roaming the province seeking praise and adoration!!

Campbell just hired a brand new press secretary and his old friend Paul Taylor as his chief-of-staff, and he made a massive cabinet shuffle and reorganization of cabinet duties within ministries, all this was done in the last week, his new chief-of -staff......his new fancy award winning press secretary, his promotions, Campbell is still clutching the check book in his grubby little hands, Campbell is still running the Premier`s office ministry, Campbell is still calling the shots yet he isn`t responsible for any outcomes one way or another, a lame duck premier governing from the shadows, who is calling the shots?....... Who do ministry officials call for advice on policy, who does the press ask a question of, who is making policy decisions, who is responding to the day in day out occurrences within government, why the hell hasn`t the legislature been re-called, this must make B.C. really look like fools.....

BC is on hold waiting for a referendum, now were on hold waiting for someone to come forward from within the party or someone from outside to take charge, this is croc friends, the ego maniac Gordon Campbell is doing the big long good-bye while still directing the action only from a different chair and at the same time skirting any responsibility, Campbell or Caucus must appoint an interim leader today, the premiers office,  duties and budget  must be removed, relinquished, Gordon Campbell can`t hold the keys of power, he quit, whether or not the appointed interim leader intends to seek permanent leadership matters not, Gordon Campbell has made it clear he is leaving,.....

Campbell knows Point Grey will elect the NDP candidate in a bi-election so he refuses to budge, any new leader, even if Dianne Watts said she wanted the job someone in the BC Liberal party would have to resign their seat, Gordon Campbell hasn`t quit, he is the leader and still needs to answer questions on BC Rail, on IPP contracts, on Kash Heed, what part about quiting doesn`t Campbell understand, he spoke the word but remains!  Resign your seat today Campbell!! Get the hell out loser, there is much legislative work to be done, appoint an interim leader, the province can`t wait to move forward while Campbell`s buddie Kevin (Campbell man love) Kreuger strokes his bloated ego! ......

Quickly on the leadership contenders, fresh from the chirpers,  Kevin Falcon is out, the reason, real simple friends, Falcon is wise and young, Falcon knows that the BC Liberals are toxic right now and he doesn`t want to blow his opportunity on bad timing, Falcon will wait out a term....Dianne Watts, same thing, she has the Surrey mayoralship in the bag, so unless the BC Liberals ran on a NO HST campaign, raise minimum wage along with light rail for the Fraser Valley along with the elimination of tolls, or if you like, all tolls turn into shadow tolls where everyone pays, ....So in other words friends, unless Dianne Watts can run against almost all of Campbell`s policies she`s out......And, even if she ran, her appeal doesn`t resonate province wide, her droppings stink to high heaven outside of the lower mainland!....

Abbot is mentally weak, a bobblehead politician, his head is in permanent nod mode, Abbot is a blind follower, George is still looking for those 5000 long term and(incremental) care beds, What the hell is an incremental care bed abbott? (I look forward to embarrassing George Abbot on everything, a helpless man servant drinking too much jungle juice)......Gawd is Goerge dumb as a stump,  could you imagine a province led by George gumby Abbott.... he`s out!.....So that leaves but two old war horses, Mike Ding Dong De Jong and Rich the Tick Coleman, both know their time in the sun is running out, which ever one emerges matters not, they both lose in the long run, De Jong will lose to the shank in the short run, there isn`t 1 BC Liberal whose rating is higher than minus -20......

Meanwhile, whoever is appointed interim leader must cut Campbell`s umbilical cord to the premier`s desk, Campbell wants the long good bye and is prepared to sit as defacto leader while he travels the Province soaking up  false praise and attending staged photo-ops,....... No friends...... the stooges may not want to talk about it but I will....

No legislative sessions, new cabinet, no premier, a pending referendum,Elections BC is still waiting for a new non-partisan chief-electoral-officer,a referendum question is being drafted as we speak, who approves the question? Campbell or the new premier, what about the massive deficits, what about the tanking natural gas revenue, what about the drop off in tourism, what about the thousands of layoffs in the food industry, what about investment in the province, what about record raw logs exports every month, what about Kash Heed, Jane Thornthwaite, what about the first three successful recall campaigns, what about a fall session in our legislature, what about question periods and estimate debates, who`s gonna answer these questions, despite all these nagging things......And look what  voter bait Campbell left for the interim leader, the cupboard is bare and there are several IOUs in the cups, deficits dollars to pay for the last tax cut, Campbell left his replacement nothing but debt, bad tax policy, tolls, fees, Campbell spent and gave away every last penny to curry favour and buy votes, he got neither and guaranteed the Liberals future as opposition.

There will be no long walk in the snow for you Gordon Campbell, your fairy tale ending is over, you quit, you`re FIRED, no long good bye, don`t let the door hit you on the way out, we have a province in need of emergency intervention before it chokes and dies and we need someone with man balls to stand up and take charge NOW!...Is that you calling Carole James? or is that Horgan, We know there are no balls in the BC Liberal party, just ball lickers!

Gordon Campbell Runs from Reality.....Leaves party in unwinnable position! (updated)

The big early unannounced press conference, I have a hunch on what liar boy will talk about, ......

Gordon Campbell is so vindictive and hates to lose, it`s come to my attention that Gordon Campbell and Paul Taylor are just steamed about Fish Lake, the fate of Naikun wind power(dead) ain`t helping either, boy oh boy folks, Prosperity  Mine and Naikun wind power beaten back in 1 week, followed with Campbell running for the hills, we hit the tri-fecta  ...

His resignation, nah, he didn`t resign he was thrown out!!!!


Fish Lake and dead man walking, Campbell left his party with all the baggage.....The HST referendum, it was only on Campbell`s word that it would be binding, what does Rich Coleman(new Liberal leader) have to say about a 50% plus one referendum....

One by one friends, now that Campbell is gone you can expect resignations or floor crossings....Campbell left his party an unwinnable game plan, the HST is dead, the new leader will have to stand up and defend the HST, agree to make the referendum binding.....

Let`s see what happens to Paul Taylor...Rumour has it Paul Taylor has been given notice, he`s out, new leaders don`t keep old chief-of-staffs, someone laid down the law on Campbell, maybe it was that 10% on the secret ballot, riding associations speak out against Campbell yet his gutless spineless jelly fish sat on their hand, not their voting hand because everyone of them stood up and praised Campbell and the HST...There is no undoing tat stubborn fact.......

More to come folks, but as it stands, the BC Liberals are dead....Rich Coleman and the Shank....No Watts, she ain`t coming, for what, to sit in opposition growing old...(We were a week late on his resignation, Campbell should have resigned last week, Campbell is running from the dam that just burst, )....All those BC Rail questions to be asked in the spring legislature....We knew that Campbell would run, well Hansen, how about that $600 million dollar tax indemnity we owe CN Rail?.....No Arnold to buy overpriced IPP power, multi $billion dollar deficits, unsustainable income tax cuts......Yes friends, Campbell left our Province smoldering and broke, Natural gas prices in the tank,.Ministers can`t hide from it`s before the courts,

Recall campaigns about to start in Oak Bay Gordon Head and in Kamloops, Donna Barnett going down, that will mean 4 bi-elections and the BC Liberal grip on power will be all but done, Gordon Campbell has fled the coop and left all BC Liberals holding Campbell`s legacy bag of pain, the leader in child poverty for 8 straight years, the lowest minimum wage, BC Hydro on the ropes, BC Ferries drowning in debt, not a dime for Transit, evergreen line,  .....

The Campbell/Fraser institute result was predictable, .......I can`t stop laughing and crying, crying over the damage inflicted by these right wing idiots, and laughing at the BC Liberals and their giant mess, Campbell didn`t even leave a tax cut on the table for the new leader to use, Campbell emptied the fiscal and moral bank the Liberals once had, Campbell took every shred of money and all coins, even the ones under the seat cushions, what a sub-human Campbell, tripled our debt, created a structural deficit and spent every last dime trying to save his own scaly skin!...

Any new leader of the BC Liberal party must reject all of Campbell`s policies, what a deal, endorse Campbell`s fiscal lunacy or toss it out the window and admit that the BC Liberals blindly followed a  frinancial destructive path, a black hole of accounting that smells real bad, tormenting BCers all the way....The retractable roof failure, no money for education, HST, election lies, gaming grant cuts, and Campbell quit on his HST...Death for all BC Liberals.......And lastly, if the remaining BC Liberals hoist Campbell on a pedestal they too will fall, the road for BC Liberal success goes through a "Gordon Campbell was nuts" campaign...(And wait for it, Kash Heed announcement this week, and it won`t be pretty)

Oh how the worm has turned, Zalm and the HST got his revenge, Campbell chased from office with his tail between his legs, and this persuader is having a celebratory drink on Campbell!

I can`t tell you how happy I am  that you saved Fish Lake, letters, emails, even rigged on line polls, add it all up and it was pure new media, through and through, it wasn`t the Province or Vancouver Sun newspaper taking an ethical and moral stand, cknw didn`t fight for this lake, you did....

Carole James criticized a tax cut while running massive deficits as fiscal stupidity and the media.......The media backed up her stance, for the first time Badrey/Palmer and Good were unable to defend Campbell and attack James on fiscal policy....Campbell got his speech,his hail mary pass, he got sacked, Campbell can`t govern, mandate is gone....

Small victories one by one, voice of the single mother with a sick child, voices of two mothers, voices of towns, from voices to magnifying lens at our finger tips to all 4 corners of thec earth......

Say goodbye to Fish lake,forever!

Another sad day for British Columbia, Fish Lake in the Caribou Chilcotin region got approval from Gordon Campbell and Barry Penner to be used and destroyed for the sake of a mine.

The prosperity copper and gold mine was given approval this week from Gordon Campbell, in case your wondering why I have a picture of (Fish Lake) heading this story is this.....With the approval fish lake is no more, that`s right folks fish lake is history,poisonous,toxic, Gordon Campbell is allowing this lake pictured above, which is part of the Fraser river watershed to be destroyed, and friends that is not speculation, it`s fact, even the mining(Taseko) company in their 3000 page environmental impact statement confirm that the lake will be all but dead, the lake will be used as a mining dump, mining tailing`s are going into this lake, 85,000 rainbow trout will be killed, in fact everything in the lake will be killed, tesako mining company is promising to "create a new lake" to replace this one! The Olympics are coming to BC, we have an opportunity to show this lake and share the story with the world`s press, Gordon Campbell`s claim to be green, Gordon Campbell who is calling the Vancouver 2010 games the greenest games in history, how on one hand can you say that while on the other you ink a deal to destroy a pristine watershed full of fish, a watershed that feeds the mighty Fraser river, to toxify an ancient lake that mother nature took millions of years to create, despite the mining companies claims or anyone`s for that matter no one can replicate this, we as human beings are still infantile in our understanding of hydrology and water leaching, no one lake is isolated, Fish lake is part of a bigger and more complicated watershed, to turn this jewel into a poisonous soup will hurt the Fraser river and all wildlife in the area, our British Columbia salmon runs are already in a state of total collapse, and now the leader of this province wants to raise the stakes and kill freshwater fish and wildlife, because it`s not just Fraser river Salmon and Rainbow trout, no it`s a lot more, it`s terns,migrating birds, bears, the insects that thrive in lakes,the insect eating birds, frogs snakes and just about every other living thing you can think of, this stretch of heaven called Fish Lake is on traditional First Nations lands(Tsilhqot`in) and they are opposed to this project, the chief doesn`t believe mankind has the ability to make a replacement lake, his words are.
"Only the creator can do that"........ the Chief goes onto say........"We can`t accept wholesale destruction of such a productive thriving lake that has ancient traditional meaning to our Nation".
In 2002 Federal fisheries on orders from the government of the day made changes to the fisheries act Section 36 of the act(Metal,mining,effluent regulations), the changes were almost a carte blanche permission to use lakes as dumps, a gift to the mining industry, I will provide links to more technical briefings but for now, I read a longish piece in the Georgia Strait about this project, their story was written before approval was granted, it was still under provincial environmental assessment, well like I say Gordon Campbell and Barry Penner have said......Let the toxic dumping begin, expert hydrologists hired by first nations have said the mining companies assertions are wrong, clearly they don`t understand hydrology and water leaching into ground aquifers, David Williams president of :Friends of Nemiah Valley: Stated.
"Once you see this gorgeous lake it`s impossible to see how on earth the project has gone this far".......David Williams goes on to say.
" The is a environmental travesty, a planned ecological disaster".
Like I have mentioned before, I am no brain surgeon, in fact the extent of my formal education wasn`t much ..But, even a non-brain surgeon like myself can see the insanity of this project, from the story in the Straight one thing stood out to me like a sore thumb and that was this.
The mining company has stated in their assessment that.
"If they can`t use Fish Lake as a toxic dump the project wouldn`t be viable" snip.
Well isn`t that interesting, because this same mining company(Taseko) has made the statement in their assessment that
"They will build a replacement lake to make up for the loss of Fish Lake" snip.
Well how can that be?
The two statements contradict each other, on one hand they`re saying the project isn`t viable if it can`t use mother natures splendor as a toxic dump and on the other their claiming to replace it, that doesn`t make sense.
The life of the mine is supposed to last 20 years, the government claim that over the course of the life of the project it will contribute all toll about $400 million dollars to the Province and $43 million dollars to local and regional government, a big number but once you break it down it works out to $20 million dollars per year to the Province and roughly $2.1 million dollars per year to local government per year. Taseko acquired the rights in 1969 but governments weren`t interested in ruining the landscape back then, continual exploration in the area has been done and in the 90s feasibility studies were done and Taseko mining company got revved up on this project in the late 90s but commodity prices tanked so they shelved the project, and I think that is crucial, the part about shelving the project over commodity prices, in this latest recession mines around the world shut down,even Alcan(Rio-Tinto) stopped smelting and curtailed production in Kitimat and delayed their promised expansions, you see friends the same thing could happen here, despite all the rosy claims by Taseko, despite the chamber of commerce in Williams lake drooling over this project, despite all the claims this project is but 20 years, or less, the less being a commodity price drop and or a double dip recession, because believe me these mining giants care about money and only money and when the going gets tough the mining industry stops and moves onto more fertile land or countries, meanwhile the legacy left for first Nations,for fishers, for generations is a toxic stew killing everything that comes into contact with it. Friends, I will try and get the story out to every media outlet,every interested reporter, the world must hear what deliberate environmental destruction Gordon Campbell and Barry Penner want to inflict upon "Super Natural British Columbia"....I hope all of you faithful readers spend a moment and send a link to this story or the link to the Georgia strait`s story to a media outlet, time to tell the world what Gordon Campbell is doing.
Oh I almost forgot, I read a story yesterday that was very quietly reported, it should have been front page news, the Myra falls mine in Campbell river had a couple of accidents, somehow mining effluent flowed into Butte lake. Great news friends, Prosperity mine is dead, Fish Lake is saved........I haven`t gone over the Federal assessment in detail yet, but on a quick look it`s a damning report....

The assessment states the fish loss would be in the hundreds of thousands, the board also was harsh on the watershed damage, not only would Fish lake be poisoned but so would many other water sheds through seepage, the board found that Tesako mine had no mitigation for migrating water, in fact based on the board`s findings Tesako mine failed on all ends, the economic benefit was dwarfed by the massive water and environment loss on the long term!...

The report made it clear that aboriginal title and claims have not been settled, the report slammed the mine on the environmental damage, a huge area would be negatively affected, tourism, nature outfitters..........

This is a good day for Canada, the Prosperity mine is dead unless.........?
