This is getting very serious folks...Vaughn Palmer...Johnathon Fowlie..Craig Mcinnes...Don Cayo...And the entire Vancouver Sun editorial board have been relentlessly attacking the voters of British Columbia everyday...

The ploy is so obvious, anyone with connected brain cells can see right through their attacks, the PROPAGANDA won`t work this time, the Vancouver Sun everyday is trying to ram the HST DOWN BRITISH COLUMBIAN`s THROATS....

I haven`t seen this type of pursuit of an agenda since the Vancouver Sun went after Glen Clark!!!

Could you imagine if the Sun Paper went after the BC Rail Crimes with this vigor, or imagine the Sun going after Campbell. about the BUDGET DEFICIT LIE....The Vancouver Sun has given given Gordon Campbell a free ride and paid endorsements/advertorials since 2001....

Every poll on the HST..Angus Reid....Ipsos reid...Mustel...Name any poll and BCers are 75% to 80% strongly opposed against the HST.....And that opposition and public anger towards the HST is more than a year after Campbell stabbed us in the back with the HST....

Despite all the paid pundits promoting the tax, all the spin, despite all of Colin Hansen`s weasel words the Public isn`t buying it!.....

Vaughn Palmer has written articles attacking Vander Zalm 2 days in a row...Everyday for over a week the Vancouver Sun has ran at least 2 editorials promoting the HST...And attacking Vander Zalm and canvassers, .......

Clearly with a giant majority of the public against the HST, there is only one logical answer, the VANCOUVER SUN is CONSPIRING WITH GORDON CAMPBELL .....And the VANCOUVER SUN is DIRECTLY ATTACKING the PEOPLE of BRITISH COLUMBIA.....

So desperate have the attacks become, now they are attacking a Recall Captain in the Caribou Chilcotin because he used a curse word....Oh the humanity of it all!....So desperate has the Vancouver Sun Become.......

They have become so desperate with their attacks against the public and promoting of Gordon Campbell that they can`t write the stories fast enough.....

If you think I`m wrong, explain why for 2 days in a row the Vancouver Sun has recycled stories from 1991.....Yes you heard me correctly, they are re-running stories from 1991...Stories attacking Bill Vander Zalm...And this is being done because....

On Monday September/27 on cknw ....On the Monday morning quarterback show(10:00 am to 11:00am)....

Norman Specter made a public request on the radio demanding that the Vancouver Sun start writing stories on a daily basis that smear Vander Zalm for things he did as premier 20 years ago....

And the Vancouver Sun have agreed with Norman Specter`s requests and ran attacking editorials, new stories and stories from 1991....

The only thing the people of BC can assume is......

The Vancouver Sun is the Enemy of the People of British Columbia....

There is no other explaination.

Gordon Campbell and Colin Hansen have not been able to con the public, the people are too smart, now Gordon Campbell has called his allies who own the Vancouver Sun to come to his rescue and launch a Aldoph Hitler, Goebells Propaganda Campaign in an attempt to trick the voters, to confuse, in fact what the Vancouver Sun is doing is .....

What they are doing is so scary, can you imagine folks, what next, the Sun is not independent, they are a stealth propaganda arm of the Gordon Campbell Government, whatever Gordon Campbell tells them to do, whatever Norman Specter tells them to do they do it....
What if our Government wanted to SLASH funding for mentally disabled, never mind, Gordon Campbell did that 2 days ago.....what if Campbell wanted to close hospitals, take money from seniors, raise tuition fees, oh yea, Gordon Campbell has done all those things and the Vancouver Sun ignores it....That is Scary.....

Gordon Campbell and his paid stooges keep on trying to turn the tide, it`s not working and won`t, the "present" Government and the media have no idea what they are up against, not only have the electorate from all political stripes tuned their disractive propaganda out but, B.C. has the highest percentage of people who are wired, on line, a staggering 76% of BCers are on line, that means for the most part they are reading the real media, web sites, blogs, no longer are Canwest and the MSM able to dominate the message.

Vaughn Palmer has a pathetic distracting column today, Vaughn has got his latest marching orders and new knee pads, lets do a little brief history, Gordon Campbell and his spineless jellyfish party stabbed us in the back immediately after the election with BCs largest deficit and the HST, Campbell had 10 months to convince us that the HST is good before Bill Vander Zalm`s anti-HST petition even started, 10 months, and despite the chamber`s of commerce, despite all the corporate hacks, despite the Fraser institute, regardless of all the corporate shills and media propaganda the public said no the to tax transfer.......

Zalm`s(CherlyB) petition didn`t start til May 2010, even after the Olympic fever people still weren`t buying what red mitten man was selling, Palmer/Good/Baldrey/greasy Les Leyne, cknw/Canwest Global, all of them scoffed at the petition succeeding, it couldn`t be done, impossible, but once the writing was on the wall the Campbell abuse began, desparage Vander Zalm, the man who brought the dreaded property tax, the so-called disgraced premier from the past, that folks was the new stooge spin last spring, the attempt to distract failed, no one bought the property transfer tax argument because 5 terms of Government could have removed the tax with a stroke of a pen, no big deal, no asking Ottawa, the argument failed, the big business Geoff Plant law suit failed, Campbell couldn`t send out his 11th hour HST propaganda flyers, even the Crimean war veteran Sam the hst man who called in everyday to cknw to tell us how great the tax is and how economically challenged us voters were wasn`t working.......

The message ran into a brick wall, the distractions kept coming, the new attack was, the NDP will bring in other higher taxes so you better keep the hst, then there was the .....The HST will fund health, education, and tons of new services, yet the public knows what revenue neutral to Government means, quickly the people learned that the HST brings less money to the treasury than the PST did, each and every gambit thunk up by Campbell`s PAB gang failed, the next distraction is the dreaded pay back of $1.6 billion that isn`t even being booked in full for years, the public closed its ears, and of course we know that ICBC just happens to have an extra $3 billion dollars laying around that they don`t need for claims, they need but $1.5 billion for claims so there is plenty of money to pay the feds back, another wasted distraction....

So desperate are the hacks in Government, no matter what they do the people have made up their minds, even the 50 to 1 pro-hst guests on the not so giant cknw are falling on deaf ears, but last week the stooges launched a brand new tactic, it started on last week`s cutting ledge show, the gordon Campbell pimps decided to turn the conversation into.....

The bad old political opportunists, the Friday stooges threw mud at everyone, mud at carole James, Delaney, the Zalm, Tieleman, the BC Conservatives, the NDP, the new distraction was trying to plant seeds in people`s minds that the HST petition was not about the tax but about Zalm re-launching his political career, Zalm for premier, Delaney for premier, overthrow the Government, the whole petition was a ruse to confuse the people and take over the Government.........What a joke friends, and the game of distraction continued in full force with Specter and the traitorous Monte Paulsen and Bill good on the Monday morning quarterback show, only it was 2 barrell attack today, it was the disgraced premier Vander Zalm show and no one cares about the HST it was all a ruse to re-launch political careers through trickery and guile show on cknw....

And the latest attempt of distraction continues with the same tired theme in Vaughn the pawn Palmer`s column today, Zalm wants to be premier, Delaney wants to be a MLA, Tieleman wants to overthrow the Government, Charlie Wyse is desperate to get his seat back, Nazi`s want power, separatists want power, the whole Province full of political opportunists and the HST petition was nothing but an elaborate scheme to take power from the grueling Liberal party....

That`s the theme of the Palmer column today, the same script from last friday, the identical playbook of the Monday stooges, that and we should all be content to wait a year and believe that Campbell will keep his word on the referendum(And Campbell never lies), 50% plus 1 and the HST is gone, although Palmer doesn`t bother to mention, either did Pausen,Specter or Good that Gordon Campbell refuses to enshrine in law that the referendum will be binding with a simple majority!

Time for the Straight Goods....Listen up stooges, I know your reading this, if the anti-hst petition fell flat on its face the battle would have ended, but we tapped into BCs own tea party movement, Zalm doesn`t want to be premier, he`s an old man(sharp as a tack but old) ....If Campbell respected the WILL of the PEOPLE and removed the HST the battle would be over, if Campbell through the Legislature enshrined in law that the HST referendum was binding and moved up the vote to even 6 months from now the battle would be over, but none of those options were taken by Campbell....

There would be no Recalls if Campbell listened to the people who pay his cheque and Golden pension, so for you paid stooges, Baldrey/Palmer/Good/Leyne/Cluck Cluck/Pausen/Specter/MacDonald/Vancouver Sun/CTV......To try and make the case that this whole petition was an elaborate ruse to overthrow the Government, well, whatever your smoking where can I get some?
As for political opportunists, I remember the Kevin Falcon "Total Recall" campaign, not a game show but an Arnold B movie comparison, ya think Falcon wouldn`t have run for office like a "political opportunist" if he had succeeded in "total recall" ?......

Let me be perfectly clear, the recalls will be successful, so if I was Charlie Wyse or Chris Delaney or any other political opportunist I would be licking my chops for the chance for a cushy gig in Victoria, think of the perks, the free housing, ask Ida chomp chomp Chong about the lunch arrangement, the holidays, no fall sessions, who wouldn`t want that job, and if the shoe was on the other foot the BC Liberals would do the exact same thing, only you stooges would be cheering....

But be that as it may, this opportunity was caused by a corrupt lying Gordon Campbell and he has had a 100 chances to reverse course, your latest gambit, the on message spin,

The Mystery of Fish Lake

Cool blue water surrounded by a thriving eco system, you can take a 1000 pictures of this lake and everyone is different, can you imagine your kids swimming or floating on inner tubes, or can you picture this lake shrouded in fog, fisherman battling large rainbow trout and of course this pristine lake is a vital part of First Nation`s food supply, for millennia this watershed has been vital for their survival, but not just survival of the body but of the mind.

The Raven, Spirit Bear, cultural cleansing, ceremonial rituals and the tale of the "one that got away", legends and folklore of mystery creatures that inhabit the waters of Fish lake, mother natures heals all wounds eventually, some scars heal in years, some in decades and larger assaults take eons to repair, mankind will be long gone and Fish lake will re-appear in one form or another.
but for the life of me I can`t explain how any Government body could endorse deliberate destruction of paradise, why would the BC Liberal Government support this action, maybe I`m naive, maybe I don`t understand the value of money, if I look in my wallet I don`t see any, the power of mining shareholders, the power to corrupt all legitimate processes, the power to pillage third world countries through influence, through stuffed envelopes, through threat of harm, but we aren`t a third world country, or are we?

Maybe I`m just a country bumpkin, I don`t consider myself a tree hugger, I can vision development at Teztan Biny(Fish lake)...Not a destructive 35 kilometer wide open pit mine that will eradicate life but several large fishing and hunting lodges, boat rentals, bear watching stands, First Nation shops selling sweaters and native arts, hiking trails, can you imagine tourists from Germany,from the Nordic countries, bird watchers and nature lovers from all corners of this shrinking planet congregating at Fish lake and surrounding areas spending their money, employing chefs, carpenters, guides, photographers, eateries and so so much more, with the Gulf Coast coated with oil, with the Amazon being clear cut, with country to country tensions and threats of terrorism places like Fish lake and Super Natural British Columbia in the future will be worth more than trinkets of gold and silver, why has no one thought of that for Fish lake?

Well, apparantly someone has, several years ago there was an application for a 35 acre(not 35 kilometer) lodge expansion at Fish lake, the company put their proposal to the BC environmental assessment agency, and they ?apparantly reviewed the project and deemed this area, this gorgeous productive animal and fish filled eden too sensitive to proceed, the lodge expansion was denied, clearly the BC environmental assessment agency did the job of protecting this vital area, this lake system is only a small but inter-connected part of a much larger Fraser river watershed.....

But that may be wrong, did the agency have other motives, were they directed to squash the lodge expansion for other less hounorable reasons, like perhaps political donations?....Because at the time of the lodge proposal Tesako mine and Teck Cominco donated over $500,000.00 dollars to the BC Liberal party, the conflict of interest is blinding my mind, it`s logical, if a lodge expansion was allowed, new trails, boating, guiding, tourists, nature loving people from far and wide spending money in the Caribou, if that had happened an open pit mine would never have been allowed to proceed, but that appears to this persuader to be exactly what took place, the denial of the lodge expansion was because the back room boys of the BC Liberals had open pit fever.

As you know the BC environmental assessment gave Tesako mine the two thumbs up to eradicate 35 kilometers of heaven, the Federal assessment said no way, they cited a myriad of problems that couldn`t be rectified at any cost, the Federal environmental assessment flatly rejected tesako mine for a hundred reasons, the biggest being devastation of the area and leaching problems into the Fraser river watershed.

And after reading up on this boondoggle, I found out that DFO and provincial and federal assessments of the past told the mineral right holders of this land that it would never happen, the open pit mine proposal was a no go, Federal Government after Federal government and decades of Provincial Governments flatly rejected open pit mining and lake destruction in this area for all the right reasons, but all that changed with Gordon Campbell and Stephen Harper....For now to destroy watersheds, to eradicate lakes, to destroy food sources, to alter a way of life for First Nations who own the land all one has to do is give large sums of money to the BC Liberal and Federal Conservative Governments......And that makes it a very sad day for B.C. and the world.......The mystery of Fish lake, the mystery of why a lodge expansion was rejected because of environmental concerns, yet shortly there after an open pit mine that will lay waste to the area got the 2 thumbs up, I think anyone with connected brain cells knows the answer, POLITICAL DONATIONS!

Super Natural British Columbia...........But for money donated to Gordon Campbell you can burn it to the ground.

The decision is sitting on Stephen Harpers desk, but with Harper changing the watershed act, it appears that the writing is on the wall.......

I hope you corrupt politicians rot in hell!

WILLIAMS LAKE, BC, Sept. 24 /CNW/ - Political contribution records show that Taseko Mines Ltd suddenly began funding the BC Liberal Party as the province moved towards an environmental review of its Prosperity

The company pumped $30,150 into BC liberal coffers over a 12 month period starting in late 2008 as the province geared up for an election and moved towards proceeding with an environmental assessment of the proposed mine.

Records also show that one of Taseko Mine Ltd directors, Richard Mundie, has powerful ties to the party, having signed off on $440,000 in donations to the party from Teck Cominco between 2005 and 2009 when he was an officer with that company.

This information comes a week after it was discovered that the BC government was previously so protective of the Teztan Biny (Fish Lake) area - listed as one of the top ten fishing lakes in the Province - that it refused to allow a relatively minor 35-acre Lodge expansion, yet was later persuaded to accept and advocate for Taseko's massive, destructive open-pit mine project.

New documents now show that the company and Province insisted on pressing ahead with the mine proposal despite being warned repeatedly - starting in 1995 - by the federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans that pursing the idea would be a waste of everyone's time, because neither the DFO nor the minister of environment could approve the loss of this rare and fish-rich lake.

"This money trail helps explain why a government that previously ruled even a small lodge expansion too environmentally unacceptable is now using public funds to champion a company that wants to create an open pit mine with a 35 sq. km footprint that would kill our lake, streams, fish, wildlife, and our rights, culture and way of life," said Yunesit'in Chief Ivor D. Meyers, Tsilhqot'in National Government.

Xeni Gwet'in Chief Marilyn Baptiste added: "We have always found it unfathomable that all the opposition to this mine over the years, culminating in the damning findings of the CEAA panel, has fallen on deaf ears with the BC government. Perhaps this shows that you have to pay big bucks to be heard."

Contribution data from Elections BC's website, along with links to the site's relevant pages, can be found at www.fnwarm.com. Copies of letters from the Federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans rejecting the proposed mine as far back as 1995 can also be found here.

The DFO letters show that the department - which has continued to object to the net losses that would still result from Taseko's plan to build a small fake lake reservoir to replace Teztan Biny - declared the project out of bounds 15 years ago.

The department warned the company and Province that destroying the top class lake and fishery and not properly replacing that unique habitat was something that neither DFO nor the environment minister could ever permit, and advised them not to pursue it further.

"These letters show that it is not the opponents of this project that have wasted taxpayers and company investors dollars," said Chief Baptiste.

"BC and Taseko were told 15 years ago to look for alternatives, and instead have spent the intervening time trying to circumvent the rules to kill our lake and lands - and they have had the nerve to publicly portray our First Nations and the many non aboriginals who have resisted their efforts as the unreasonable ones," said Tl'esqox Chief Francis Laceese, Tsilhqot'in National Government.

"It is now clearer than ever that, as DFO warned 15 years ago, the Minister of Environment has no choice but to reject this mine."

A bold title to this article, but it`s true, the day before our last provincial election the Vancouver Sun officially endorsed Gordon Campbell and the BC Liberals .......

And that`s okay, they can endorse anyone they want, but as media they have an ethical duty to tell the truth, when Glen Clark and his patio deck was an issue the Vancouver Sun and their reporters hounded Clark, they staked out his house, they had their outside cameras filming inside his house, they were relentless pitbulls in pursuit of Clark ......And that`s fine, but what happened to the last 8 years, they have given Campbell free pass after free pass, they have forgiven Gordon Campbell`s lies time and time again....And whether Kirk Lapointe or Patricia Graham is editor-in-chief matters not, the Vancouver Sun has an agenda and or cares only about their bottom line...

By that I mean, Government advertising, big corporations and their well-heeled connections, the Vancouver Sun should change their name to the...... BC Liberal Cheerleading Lobby!

And its not as if they have no ability to do critical investigative fact finding journalism, take Carole James for instance, if Carole uses weasel words in a speech or public statement the Vancouver Sun slices, dices, disects and does a CSI forensic audit tearing her words apart, and don`t get me wrong, Carole James has used many weasel words, especially when it comes to the hst, but with Gordon Campbell they give no such criticism, our current premier can say the most outlandish lies and the Vancouver Sun reports nothing, they ignore, actually they do more than ignore it, they report and repeat the outlandish lies as truth!

I have several examples of Gordon campbell spewing outrageous lies in the last few days alone, whopper lies, unbelievable lies, if Carole James or any NDP spouted these lies it would be plastered on the front page.

Yesterday Gordon Campbell said and I quote..

"Our Government lowered the hst from 13% to 12% and that cost the provincial treasury $800 million dollars" snip

What a whopper lie, when did we have an 8% pst?.....Just because Ontario has a 13% hst, Ontario`s pst was 8% when they harmonized, 8% plus 5% GST = 13%.....BC has a 7% pst ..add 5%gst to 7% pst and it adds up to 12%....Yet did the Vancouver sun report that lie...NO.

Look at the outrage 85% of BCers are feeling about the hst, could you imagine if campbell brought in a 13% hst....The people would be burning the Victoria legislature to the ground!

If the Vancouver Sun doesn`t care about the people of B.C. just come out and say it, the Vancouver Sun should run headlines saying....

We don`t care if Gordon Campbell is a liar, he`s good for our friends and our bottom line.

Or perhaps a headline like.....Public outrage doesn`t matter, we want the hst and Gordon Campbell.

That would be more honest than running misleading editorials and opinion pieces attacking the NDP, attacking Bill Vander Zalm, attacking anyone who disagrees with the hst!...In the last few days alone......

Johnothan Fowlie wrote a misleading editorial yesterday, Fowlie reported that each recall campaign would cost $500,000.00 dollars, he got that figure from Craig James, the temporary Gordon Campbell appointed Chief electoral officer, but where is the research, because according to Elections BC(not Craig James) it cost $550,000.00 Dollars for......For 9 recall campaigns combined(that information is available here) a little research and Fowlie could have figured out he was being played by a Gordon Campbell appointee who is in hot water already for firing Linda Johnston(second in charge at Elections BC) without cause......But Fowlie wasn`t being played, Fowlie was merely carrying on with the Vancouver Sun practice of repeating lies and distorting truth for political gain!

Gordon Campbell who embarrassed our province by getting plastered and driving drunk in Hawaii after he was first elected, then Campbell lied and sold BC Rail, then Campbell lied again and tore up the HEU contract, deliberate broken election promises, those in his first term, BCs minimum wage is a Canadian embarrassment, $6 dollars per hour, Campbell lowered it from $8 dollars, we are now 40% lower than any other province........

Gordon Campbell said more lies yesterday, after the group :Rail for the Valley: commissioned a thorough study comparing light rapid transit(LRT) against the ridiculously high price of Skytrain......Gordon Campbell pulled whopper lies out of whole cloth to dis-credit the study, Campbell has no data to back up his statements, and yet the MSM media reports Campbell`s lies as truth, no research, no follow up questions to Campbell, nothing but reporting lies!...

Gordon Campbell has been forgiven so many times, he has lied so often without retribution that he doesn`t care what he says, Campbell knows the Vancouver Sun will write glowing reports and ignore the lies!....(Read Campbell`s lies about light rail here)

Will McMartin wrote last February/2009...Will wrote that the 2009 deficit was going to be in the $3 to $4 billion dollar range, Will cited low natural gas prices, falling corporate tax revenue, high unemployment, increasing social service costs(read it here)

Yet all through our last election Campbell and Hansen claimed the deficit would be "$495 million dollars maximum"....And days after the election Campbell admits that we have a $3 billion dollar deficit, how is it Will McMartin was right and the entire ministry of finance and Campbell were wrong? Campbell said the "HST wasn`t on our radar"...But it was, ministry officials were negotiating well before our election, the BC Progress board in their December/2008 report to Gordon Campbell asked him to bring it in the hst and actually warned Campbell that there would be major public backlash, Campbell heeded their warning and deliberately concealed his intentions, Campbell`s excuse that we had to do it was because Ontario did it doesn`t wash, Ontario announced in December 2008 that they were going to the HST....

Yet the Vancouver Sun doesn`t give a rats ass what the paying public think, have we as a province copied Ontario`s $10.50 minimum wage, do we have Ontario`s lower gas prices, does Ontario have a useless carbon tax, the answer is no to all of those things.

Gordon Campbell only used Ontario when....Campbell used Ontario to justify MLA and senior government pay raises and now the hst.....And the Vancouver Sun never stops, they ran an editorial yesterday, the editorial attempted to dis-credit Recall organizers, comparing them to nazi`s, radical right wingers, disgruntled NDPers, and or raving lunatics, and I can tell first hand as an HST petition signature gatherer that it was real average BCers who signed the petition, there were seniors, students, NDPers, Liberals, Conservatives, it was a vast array of people from all political and financial stripes that signed the petition...(read this brutal Johnothan Fowlie editorial here)

And yet another Vancouver Sun unauthered editorial a few days back, this one about taxpayers having to pay back their own hst refunds, it lays blame for the HST problems at the NDP and Bill Vander Zalm, read that one here

And Vancouver Sun`s Don Cayo has written several articles defending the hst with spin, forecast and crystal ball......And the Vancouver Sun just doesn`t quit, because there is another unauthered editorial today in the Vancouver Sun, this one slams Bill Vander Zalm and all anti-HSTers ....It claims that since ......
Since Gordon Campbell gave his word that the referendum next year will be binding if 50% plus one vote against the HST it will be gone, yet the referendum law states different, the Vancouver Sun is saying......

Gordon Campbell gave his word to honour a simple majority in the referendum and even though the act and law say different we can trust Gordon Campbell because he`s a man of honour....

That is what the Vancouver Sun is saying in its latest pro-hst editorial, read that one here


That is why I laid out the above facts, facts on how the Vancouver sun not only forgives Campbell`s lies, doesn`t report Campbell`s lies, they endorse Campbell`s lies and expect us, the people, the voters to take an habitual liar at his word!

Unbelievable, that is all I can say about the media and Gordon Campbell`s pimps!

As I predicted the other day, the great study commissioned by Rail for the Valley was completely ignored, Gordon Campbell and Shirley glug glug Bond met with the Mayors and the Translink board to discuss funding for Transit, specifically the nevergreen line....

The story was plastered all over the news, the radio, a very vague MOU(memorandum of understanding) was signed, I read the MOU, it`s nothing, propaganda, meanwhile on the news the babblers were asking how do we pay for transit?

And the light rail option was omitted, no mention, scuttled, the Translink wealth transfer lobby have killed light rail again, in fact there wasn`t even one mention on the cutting ledge today about that LRT report, yesterday John Macolm had a segment on how to fund transit, he took callers and I tried to get in.....It wasn`t nick answering the phone so the phone guy took my name and asked what I wanted to say, I told him about the LRT study and why not go that route, but as usual, John Macolm had his marching orders and only let callers speak who recommended more taxes, vehicle levies, property taxes, user pay...Obviously the Translink lobby has big clout with media, and my friend Malcolm J commented on my LRT post that the big dalies were going to run with the story yesterday, they didn`t then and nothing today!

Gordon Campbell in the meeting with the mayors and Translink made the suggestion that the HST could be used to fund Translink ???????

Bill Good day after day keeps blathering on and on how people don`t want to pay taxes but everyone wants services, Bill Good at least once a day states,

"How are we going to pay for services without the HST.......What tax would you like if not the HST"snip

Isn`t that special, and it was no other than Vaughn Palmer himself that wrote an article 6 months ago that stated the HST in its first year will cost the B.C. treasury about $400 million dollars and in further out years that the HST is revenue neutral to Government,(here was the title of Vaughn Palmer`s column about the loss to the B.C. treasury)

In other words the $2 billion dollar yearly tax shift from business onto the backs of consumers does not bring in ANY MORE MONEY TO THE B.C. GOVERNMENT than the old PST DID! $400 million less money than the old PST would have brought in this year alone.

And Colin Hansen, he has made the same claim that the HST will pay for health care, Margaret McDiarmid has made the claim that the HST will pay for education, every B.C. Liberal MLA spineless jellyfish has made the claim that the HST will pay for all these extra services and increased funding for everything else.....Yet the facts don`t bear that out, the HST is a drag on the economy, the HST is putting people out of work, the writing is on the wall, B.C. and the Ontario economies have tanked since the HST was implemented...

If the B.C. government needed extra money thet could have easily raised the existing PST by 1% percentage point and that would bring in about $1 billion more dollars to Provincial coffers, and believe me folks, the outrage would be gone, for those with short memories, Gordon Campbell raised the PST up when he took power in 2001, he raised it to 7.5% from 7% he then made a big deal about it when he lowered it back to 7%.... That way we keep our taxing authority in provincial hands, all the existing exemptions would stay in place, a win win...Except for one thing, the HST was never about anything except big corporations pulling Campbell`s strings and making Campbell dance like a marionette!

So lets review this, Gordon Campbell states that the HST will pay for more health care, more education funding, the HST will pay for transit infrastructure and operating costs, I`m getting so confused, who to believe.....

Do we believe Gordon Campbell`s buddy and neighbor Bill Good? Do we believe Vaughn Palmer?Do we believe the government apologist Keith Baldrey? Or perhaps, just perhaps we should believe Gordon Campbell....!!!!

Am I missing something, I have heard Campbell over and over again state that he lowered the HST to 12% from 13%....When did we have a 8% PST....Campbell must be on the sauce big time again, our PST was 7%...The GST is 5%....Add them up it comes to 12%.....If he thinks because the Ontario HST is 13% he made us a great deal, Ontario`s PST was 8%....8% and 5% adds up to 13%......Gordon Campbell has lost his marbles!

AAs you can see from this chart Gordon Campbell did no such thing, in Ontario they added their PST with the GST ....Since their PST was 8%.....Added to the 5% GST = 13%


In BC the PST was 7% added to 5% GST = 12%...........And yet Gordon Campbell today again stated that he lowered our HST from 13% to 12%.....For christ sake Campbell can`t you ever stop lying, how much booze are you drinking, are you on crack cocaine? PATHETIC!





Vaughn Palmer got his numbers from the B.C. ministry of finance, so let`s have a look, deduct $400 million dollars from the $1.6 billion dollar bribe and as you can clearly see the bribe is shrinking, now down to $1.2 billion dollars, take in to consideration the drag on the B.C. economy and HST related job losses and we actually get nothing out of the $1.6 billion dollar bribe!

Gordon Campbell, Bill Good and CKNW after learning about the HST referendum stated with the referendum a year away there will be plenty of time for honest debate on the issue...Really? Debate, honest debate, more like a year of propaganda....

On Sunday past, Sean Leslie had on as a guest David Robertson from Martineau LLP accounting, he praised the HST, and it was our good friend Crankypants(Cam) who did a little research and found out that the accounting company that this accountant worked for has donated nearly $200,000.00 dollars to the B.C. Liberals in the last 4 years....That folks is a conflict of interest, a blatant conflict!

This week alone on the Bill Good Gordon Campbell press release and spin show....He had on as guests, Colin Hansen, Terry Lake, Kevin Kreuger, bill Barisoff, John Rustad, Michael Levy, a representitive from the film industry, a representitive from the mining industry, Shell Buzzy was on promoting the HST too, and don`t forget the other 2 stooges, Vaughn Palmer and Keith Baldrey, Bill no Good had on Phil Hocstein last week and pretended to be in "SHOCK" over Hocstein supporting the HST, and we know how much money he has donated to the BC Liberals....The Vancouver Sun ran a brutal puff propagada piece by Johnathan Fowlie today, read his brutal garbage here

Gordon Campbell Retaliates Against Democracy

All I can say is.......What the Hell is going on in British Columbia!

Harry Nuefeld was the chief Elections BC officer, his term was nearing an end, it was up to Gordon Campbell and the BC Legislature to either reinstate Harry Nuefeld as chief electoral officer or choose a new Chief officer, an officer that both the Government and the opposition wanted, Nuefeld didn`t die or fall ill, his term was coming to an end, certainly the Government should have acted sooner, even if the BC Liberal Government staffers were all suffering from the same strain of memory dimentia that has struck all the witnesses at the BC Rail trial......

Certainly Nuefeld would have agreed to stay in place until a SUITABLE replacement was found....Shouldn`t the BC Legislature be opened up even if only for the soul purpose of naming an appropriate replacement for this very important position!

The position of Chief electoral officer is supposed to be a NON-PARTISAN post........

For without honest elections, without absolute purity and non partisan objectivity in this position we are no more democratic than Germany under Aldoph Hitler.......

You know folks, I hate to use hitler as a comparitor and it`s the second time in recent weeks that I have used that comparisan when it comes to Gordon Campbell......

So here Gordon Campbell was quite happy with Harry Nuefeld in the position of chief electoral officer when things were going his way but when the worm turned, when Nuefeld allowed Vander Zalm`s anti-HST petition all that was thrown out the window, the final straw for Gordon Campbell was when Harry Nuefeld rejected Gordon Campbell`s pro-HST flyer, as you know the BC Liberals and or the BC Government didn`t register as a opponent of the HST petition, even if they had the advertising limit was $5000 dollars.........

And the reason why Gordon Campbell didn`t register as an opponent of Zalm`s petition is clear, every paid stooge, Vaughn Palmer, Michael Smyth, the apologist Keith Baldrey, Gordon Campbell`s best friend and neighbor Bill Good of CKNW, the Greasy Les Leyne, Christy cluck cluck Clark, everyone of the paid stooges said the initiative could not be done.....

BOY WERE THEY WRONG!!!!.....And anyone who says that "Recall in the Fall" can`t be done will suffer the same fate, a shocking revelation as they get the heave ho out of office...

So when Gordon Campbell saw the writing on the wall that the HST petition was not only going to succeed but more people were signing the petition then voted for his 85 spineless jellyfish combined!.....Panic set in, Gordon Campbell was stomping his feet, yelling at his office staff, from my sources .....Gordon Campbell vowed revenge on everyone at Elections B.C. who had a hand in the HST petition decision and the refusal to allow the pro-Government HST flyers to be sent out!
Gordon Campbell has always been a bully, you think they would have asked Elections BC if they could send out fancy flyers before Gordon Campbell spent $800,000.00 dollars of tax payers money for flyers that have now since been shredded!......Gordon Campbell would get his RETRIBUTION!

So now Campbell went seeking revenge, first order of business was to FIRE Harry Nuefeld, he then sought out Craig James, a Campbell flunkie who had no Elections BC experience and placed him in the top position, a temporary position until.....

"Under legislative rules the top non partisan position at Elections BC must be a person that both the opposition and the Government agree is appropriate for the position"

A temporary position for Craig James, a Gordon Campbell stooge, the new Elections BC top dog until the legislature sits this Spring(Gordon Campbell is refusing to have a fall session AGAIN)....Then Craig James will be punted by the NDP...Hopefully they punt this lackey to Hell......

So Craig James is parachuted into the top position By Gordon Campbell and what is the first thing Craig James does, he refuses to send the lawful legal successful Vander Zalm position to the Committee....His excuse for not doing so was the law suit launched by big corporations and authored by Geoff Plant, gordon Campbell`s previous attorney General.....Are you getting the picture yet folks?
So after a short trial and a quick judicial decision by Judge Baumaan.....Who ruled against Gordon Campbell`s attorney General Geoff Plant and demanded that Zalm`s petitiuon be sent to the all party committee immediately....And again Gordon Campbell screamed in anger and vowed even more revenge against Elections BC.....

So What was Gordon Campbell`s next move, Campbell tells his lackey Craig James to fire the second in charge at Elections BC Linda Johnson....Linda Johnson is a non-partisan professional who had for years diligently done her job at the highest ethical standards, not only did he sack Linda Johnson but then immediately flew to Africa to represent Elections BC!!!....And was unable to answer the burning question....WHY, why was she sacked?

Perhaps Craig James went to Africa to seek advice from dictorial/tryranical leaders as to how to rig elections, who knows for sure but the whole deal stinks to high heaven! In fact Gordon Campbell`s favorite phrase which was revealed at the mock BC Rail trial....

"Shoot one monkey and scare a thousand more"

And where is the media outrage, where is Craig James hiding?

And tomorrow on the cutting ledge on CKNW...Bill Good and Rebecca Scott of CKNW said in their promo of Fridays cutting ledge show that Vaughn Palmer and Keith Baldrey are going to be playing the.....

Gordon Campbell lied about our deficit, he lied about the HST, Campbell lied about selling BC Rail, he lied about honouring the HEU contract and is single handidly responsible for the largest mass firing of female workers in Canadian history...9000 workers fired, the lowest paid workers in the HEU, Campbell lowered the minimum wage to $6 dollars per hour and has refused to raise it and now it`s the lowest minimum wage in Canada, 40% lower than any other Province in Canada, Campbell refuses to open the legislature again, refuses to remove the temporary Craig James and find a permanent replacement....

Gordon Campbbell, a man who doesn`t even live with his wife, he merely trots her out to play family man at photo-ops, a man who has been having an adulterous affair with Lara Dauphinee for years, and she is one of his highly paid staffers, how sick is that?

And Craig James, a man who didn`t possess the testicular fortitude or moral fiber to stand up to Gordon Campbell, a man who sold his soul for a promotion....

And the 3 stooges on CKNW have the gall to do a program claiming Bill Vander Zalm is over playing his hand?.....What about Gordon Campbell and his lackey Craig James?

And yet time and time again the paid media, Canwest global, the Vancouver sun, CKNW look the other way and ignore facts, fail to report, no investigative writing, no journalism, no skill, nothing but paid Goebells media, and isn`t that funny in a sick demented way, Campbell as BC Liberal opposition leader in the late 90s railed against the NDP to make recall and the initiative more workable, and does the media report that Kevin Falcon attempted to recall all the NDP MLAs but failed, time and time again the habitual liar Gordon Campbell has said this and done that.

What will it take, will someone have to blow a gasket and stop Gordon Campbell, will elections BC ever again be a non partisan uncorrupted agency? Will Campbell rig voting booths, buy electronic voting booths and rig them to cheat, will Campbell write laws that only BC Liberals can be in Government, my god people, we owe $900 million dollars to CN rail because of an escalating tax indemnity clause that Gordon Campbell inked in the BC Rail theft, the courts are suspect, the police are suspect....

Stephen Harper to Call Snap Election

I found the debate and argument on the long gun registry fascinating on many levels......

First off....I think it should be kept but tweaked to make it better, the money has been spent and we can`t get it back, from what I have read it only costs $4 million dollars per year to maintain, we register dogs, cats, cars, boats, why not guns, will it make the public safer, nope, the killers will still kill, but if it saves one life per year....

But what really fascinates me about the debate is the CONservatives making a big bru-ha-ha over it....Let me put this into perspective, $1 billion plus was wasted setting it up the gun registry, but now that it`s here....Yet the HST was rammed through Parliment in Ottawa without any debate, the Cons and Liberals voted in lock step to screw us, the senate shipped it off for royal assent in 10 minutes, yet the HST between Ontario and BC is a yearly $6 billion dollar tax hit to consumers, a giant battle over $4 million dollars per year yet $6 billion dollar HST consumer hit EACH YEAR gets no debate, at least slippery Jack Layton and the NDP voted for the public, and Jack Layton let his MPs have a free vote, can you see where I am going with this.....

The HST is crushing both the Ontario and BC economy yet the silence from our federal representitives is deafening!

The new BC drinking driving laws, I am pro and con on the issue, I object to Gordon Campbell giving the police the power of judge, jury and executioner, yet the road carnage must stop, the only solution is a zero tolerance, no .05 limit, no .08 criminal limit, make it zero .00 limit.....

Oh I hear the whining from the restaurant industry, they make a ton of money serving cheap plank and cocktails, they`re dependent on liquor sales to stay in business, well maybe half these restaurants need to go the way of the dinosaur, can`t people enjoy anything without getting slammed? The olympics were a perfect example, Vancouver streets littered with drunken partiers, bottles, cans dumped out by the tens of thousands every noght of the Olympics, drunks and boozers at the fireworks and the next morning there is tons of garbage and litter everywhere, booze ads on TV, radio, newsprint, oh the beautiful people in liquor ads, busty girls and rock hard physically fit males, no slurring, no staggering, no vomiting, no ugly people, just movie star pretty boys and girls having fun....

Maybe it`s time, time to rethink society, Marcy(my Ex) when she was 5 years old........

It was new years night, Marcy had 4 sisters, all young, a babysitter was watching the 5 girls, there was a knock on the door at about 11 pm, it was a police officer, he informed the babysitter that the girls parents have been killed in an accident, Marcy, over heard the conversation, she went into shock and it affected her entire life, the girls were split up and went to 2 different Grandparents to live, one set of grandparents were good, one was not, Marcy ended up with the bad family, she was beaten and abused, to this day she cries over the incident, and the driver that killed her parents......
It turned out it was a police officer off duty who was pissed drunk and slammed Marcy`s parents in a intersection, he never stopped at the red light, he plowed through and slaughtered them, because of inner police force protection, technicalities and no money to pursue the issue by the grandparents the cop got a free pass, no jail, no loss of job, no suspension, nothing.....5 orphaned girls because of a drunk driver...

.o5....What happens when people drink, the first thing to go is clear thought, can I have 1 drink, 2 drinks, 3, one for the road and next thing you know all inhibitions are gone....To hell with the restaurants who rallied to keep minimum wage at $6 dollars per hour, get a taxi, walk, designated driver, and I feel the same way with texting, cell phones, even the blue tooth, people don`t need to talk in their cars, studies show that hands free are still dangerous....

Jin Flaherty made a speech 2 days ago at the Canadian club, a partisan political, lying, distorting, pathetic speech from a Federal finance minister...

Flaherty said....A coalition government will cause 600,000 job losses, Jack Layton will reach deep in your wallet and take your money, the bloc will break up Canada, the bloc will have veto power....It was a pathetic speech, when National/Federal finance ministers make speeches they are listened to by heads of states from countries all over the world, can you imagine what other countries must be thinking, it was unprofessional and hurt Canada`s world wide reputation, for a real good read about Flaherty`s speech read Mark Kennedy`s article here

It`s a must read.......So Harpo loses his gun registry battle and vows to make it an election issue, what malarky!....There are far more pressing issues facing Canada than the gun registry, an election issue it is not.......

But that`s not the reason why Harper wants and is going to call a snap election very soon, the real reason is.....

Canada`s economy is tanking fast, GDP growth for the this quarter is zero!...Exports are falling, imports are outstripping exports, BC and Ontario1s economies are tanking, the Feds are desperate for cash, they are going to be raising UIC/EI premiums on both employers and employees and the GST will be raised very soon, that or massive cuts or more record Conservative deficits....The raising of EI premiums is a joke, Cretian and Martin raped UIC for over $50 billion dollars and put it into general revenue, Harper and Flaherty have stolen $6 billion dollars from the fund, the gall of taking our money, running down the fund only to raise premiums....As for the HST going up...

Harper was criticized by accountants for lowering the GST, it has created a structural deficit, now Harper is in a pickle, the Canadian economy is ready to fall back into recession, he needs money, he can`t get his majority, Canadians don`t trust him, so there is but one option for Stephen Harper, a snap election and another minority Government before the shit hits the fan!

If Harper calls a snap election and gets another minority Government .....Even when Canada`s economy tanks and taxes are raised the gentile non voting Canadian populace will be content, that and the fact the Iggy has not a clue and the NDP have been villified by the media forever, but be perpared there will be a Federal election very soon, Harper and Flaherty know if they wait too long the economic numbers and tax raising will not only kill their chances to form a minority Government but will kill their chances to form Government at all....And that suits this persuader just fine!

And you must remember me berating Pat Bell over the MacKenzie mill and his PLEDGE PIN, Pat Bell vowed to wear the pledge pin until the MacKenzie mill re-opened, yet he wasn`t wearing 70 pledge pins, that`s how many B.C. nills have closed since Gordon Campbell came to power, the MacKenzie mill did re-open after an Asian company bought it to supply pulp, pulp for mills in Asia, I warned Pat Bell what would happen...Cutting our own throats!

All Gordon Campbell is doing is butchering BCs forest industry, the jobs are going fast, B.C. is turning into nothing but a raw log whore(no offence meant to any whores)...Selling the MacKenzie mill to Sinar Mas was a grave mistake, not to mention Sinar Mas is one of the most environmentally destructive companies in the world! Pat Bell,Gordon Campbell, glug glug Shirley Bond and all the invited Canwest/Global press flew into MacKenzie for the photo-op....Yet there was no photo-op for the Elk falls mill in Campbell river that closed throwing hundreds out of work, and no CKNW or Vancouver daily reported the story about Catalyst demanding a 21% wage cut for all their coastal wokers or they are shutting down, no siree bob, that never got reported...

And Canwest has never reported about all the Asian mills that have opened up at the same time 71 BC mills have closed!...And isn`t that funny, raw log exports from B.C. are up 3000 %percent since the Campbell crime family started ruining the province, only idiots can`t connect the dots, massive increase in raw logs exports and 71 closed mills!...

And then there is the Conference board of Canada, a who`s who of appointees, including Paul Taylor ...You remember him, he was in charge of ICBC during the chop shop/rigged insider auction scandal, and he was removed from the failed Naikun wind project!....And guess what folks, the CBOC is at it again, CKNW blasted the airwaves all day with beaming news from that outfit!....

Net job losses in forestry since the HST....How long folks, Falcon is dismantling our heath care, we lost BC rail for ZERO dollars, our deficit is ballooning, hydro rates going up, up, up and up some more...Carbon tax, elections BC gutted, freedom of information gutted, corrupt courts, environmental reviews gutted, lowest $6 dollar per hour minimum wage, highest child poverty rates in Canada for 7 straight years, students drowning with the highest tuition rates in Canada, highest fuel prices in Canda, highest insurance rates....And our Government lies, delays, breaks law after law, .......I have never advocated a general strike but I think it`s needed, one day a week until this government falls.....

We cannot wait until 2013 to replace these criminal thieves, we must recall them out of power whether Campbell moves on the HST or not...It really is that serious.

Can We Believe Kevin falcon?

Maybe I am just a simpleton, maybe I don`t understand finances, but, as Judge Judy always says...."If it doesn`t make sense it isn`t true"

What am I talking about? I am talking about the announcement today from Kevin Falcon....Falcon states that the BC Government is giving, no that`s wrong, he is asking Hospitals and private clinics to compete for $23.4 million additional per patient funding dollars....

That`s great news, or is it?....Because adding that money doesn`t make up for the funding cuts to the health budget in the first half of the year, but let`s put that aside for a moment, let`s do some simple math, just like the HST math that the BC Media can`t figure out, if there is a $2 billion dollar per year tax shift from business onto the backs of consumers, considering we have about 4 million residents in B.C.....that includes man, woman, children, seniors and politicians, simple math means that the HST will cost everyone about $500 dollars per year, the math doesn`t lie, so a family of 4 will be out roughly $2000 dollars per year...Simple math folks, I challenge any accountant to dispute those numbers!.....Back to the additional health funding numbers....

Falcon claims that with this additional funding($23.4 million dollars)....That 22,000 additional surgeries will be done and 14,000 more MRIs.....

Well maybe I am off base here but......

Private clinics charge about $800 dollars for a MRI....

Surgeries, let`s look at 22,000 thousand surgeries, if each surgery cost $1000 dollars, 22,000 surgeries would cost $22 million dollars!....If...If each surgery cost only 1 thousand dollars, how many surgeries cost $1000 dollars?.....

14,000 MRIs at $800 dollars each would eat up $11.2 million dollars, that would leave $12. 2 million dollars for 22,000 surgeries.....That would mean surgeries would have to cost but about $500 dollars each...Are we in India?...Noooo...

Don`t get me wrong, anymore money into health care is appreciated but....

I am sure some surgeries and MRis will get done, but I would hazard to guess that the figures Falcon is spouting have been exaggerated by 3times or more. You can read the story/press release here

Anyway, as you know when Falcon was transportation minister he stated the evergreen line was to start construction last year, he said that on CKNW, has it happened? Nope...And I also nailed Kevin Falcon for lying about the Maquarie group being in charge of the sea to sky highway upgrade....
I questioned Falcon on the Sean Leslie about 2 years and asked Falcon if the MacQuarie group was in charge of the Sea to sky highway, Falcon said to me on air....

"Nope, Maquarie group is not involved with that project, well I am 99% sure that they are not involved with the project"....Snip

And 2 weeks after that he was on the Sean Leslie show again......I again questioned Falcon and straightened him out, after I nailed him cold on the radio he got angry and said....

"I oversee many projects and can`t remember all the companies involved in each project"snip

I laughed my face off, MacQuarie was leading the project, the Port Mann bridge debacle was unfolding, MacQuarie couldn`t raise any money for the port Mann bridge project.....And I even had a photo of Kevin Falcon at a photo-op at the Sea to sky highway standing next to the head guy from the MacQuarie group!....Yet Falcon couldn`t remember, oh he knew, but the Port Mann bridge and MacQuarie group were scrambling and Falcon didn`t want the public to know that MacQuarie group was involved with the sea to sky highway project, considering they couldn`t raise dollar 1 for the port Mann bridge but had been paid many many millions for that project, yet they had no money....

So...I personally have nailed the bird man over and over again lying and or in a state of dimensia, maybe dimensia runs in the BC Liberal crime family, the BC Rail trial is a prime example! Back to health care funding...

Rail for the Valley gets completely ignored by Gordon Campbell and Translink!

I was given a heads up that the group (Rail for the Valley) was going to be presenting a transit plan that would put Translink`s plan for future infrastructure on its ear!

And last night on both Global news and CTV they ran with the story.......

And today in the Canwest rags there was nothing, the story was ordered squashed by Gordon Campbell, and I know why!

Rail for the valley paid for a very extensive professional study of the GVRD`s transit options(Done by Leewood projects out of the UK)....

As you know the Evergreen line which Gordon Campbell promised would be built a dozen times, has never received appropiate funding, the cost for a short few kilometer Evergreen line is a staggering $1.6 billion dollars, Translink needs $800 million dollars for their share of the project, at present they have ZERO dollars, Gordon Campbell and Shirley Glug Glug Bond will be forcing metro Vancouver mayors to raise property taxes on all residents to pay for the short Evergreen line.....I suspect it will be a major fight with Gordon Campbell giving the mayors an ultimatum, either soak your citizens for money or the Evergreen line will be cancelled.....

And from what I have figured out a long time ago that the Provincial and Federal contribution to the Evergreen line has long since vanished, what we have is an elaborate wag the dog Gordon Campbell scam going on here....But putting that aside for a moment, the study commissioned by Rail for the Valley was a stunning, first class, practical, affordable transit plan.....

For the price of about $500 million dollars, 1/3 of the price of the Nevergreen line, light rail could be installed using the existing inter-urban line, and be up in running in half the time of the few kilometer Nevergreen line, and get this.....

The BRILLIANT, forward thinking plan put forward by Rail for the Valley, for the $500 million dollar price tag we would get a fast efficient transit system that would stretch all the way to Chilliwack!.........

Can you imagine, a transit plan that would be fast, cheap, efficient, affordable, built in half the time, all the way to Chilliwack!

But today nary a word in Canwest/CKNW...Nothing, Zip, Nada!

I admire the hard dedicated work from Malcolm J, John Vissers, John Buker and Stephen Rees on the transportation file, they are held in high regard by this persuader......

But....Let`s get down to the nuts and bolts of the Gordon Campbell crime family ruining our Province.....

As long as the BC Liberals are running this Province the light rail plan out to Chilliwack will never happen!....There are several reasons for this, number 1)

Skytrain has always been about BC Liberal insider land development, and about wealth transfer, taxpayers money transferred to Gordon Campbell`s friends, Stephen Harper`s friends too...And also it`s about propping up Bombardier....Eastern Canada favoured, subsidized wealth transfer...

The next issue comes back to the Port Mann bridge, a $4billion dollar boondoggle designed to steal money from the working stiffs in the Fraser valley.....

As it stands now, everyone and their dog, just like the Golden Ears bridge, will go out of their way to avoid tolls!

So cue the Port mann toll bridge, the Port Mann bridge scam will be stealing money from the public for 35 years, or more before the tolls come off, in actuality the tolls will never be removed because it will take a hundred years to pay off the bridge!....And there is no way in hell that the criminal known as Gordon Campbell will ever facilitate a fast transit option from the Fraser Valley when he has promised billions of dollars to his friends who built the bridge!

Can you imagine if there was a fast, cheap transit option for people in the valley to get to the big smoke, the Port Mann would look like the Golden Ears bridge, an EMPTY PARKING LOT 24/7.....

I expect that the Rail for the Valley study will vanish very quickly and be purged from all future transit talks with Translink and Gordon Campbell.......

Gordon Campbell plays Wag the Dog?

Well folks, we got gordon Campbell on the run, he is finished, the BC Liberal government is on the verge of falling, Gordon Campbell is ..."Unfit to govern"

Ross k over at the Gazetter has been on fire, I am impressed, of course Robin Mathews and citizen court reporter 54 are a huge help with getting us the Straight Goods, and BC Mary, what can we say...Nothing but bravo, and no, I didn`t forget about Bill Teileman....I am proud of all of you.....

So here earlier today I was going through the Canwest fish wrap papers looking for interesting stories.....

And lo n behold there was a story from the BC Rail trial......Brian Kenning is still on the stand.....

The defense attorney asked Kenning about the tax indemnity, the tax indemnity that was part of the BC Rail sale deal, the deal the habitual liar Gordon Campbell inked.......

And as it stands CN rail, the company that was given BC Rail.........

Has a $600 million dollar tax claim against BC, and by the time the indemnity is worked out that total rises to $900 million dollars, here`s the deal, Gordon Campbell inked a deal that states, if the Canada Revenue Agengy does not allow CN to write off the tax indemnity the BC Government will take full responsibilty and reimburse CN the tax indemnity! and at 9% interest per year.....

And after reading the story I almost threw up, because as it stands we are going to lose our railway for ZERO dollars!....Only a fool or a criminal would put that onus and debt onto our Province......
And as I was steaming and venting I got to thinking.......

When was this tax indemnity thingy exposed to us bloggers and the media?

My recollection tells me it was about the time of the start of the "mock BC Rail trial"

Follow along here folks, if Gordon Campbell was on CKNW tomorrow(he`s not)......But if he was on CKNW tomorrow....
And if he was asked about the $900 million dollar tax indemnity that B.C. is on the hook for how would he answer?

"I can`t respond on anything related to BC Rail because it`s before the courts".......That is how Gordon Campbell would respond!

But.....Suppose there was no B.C. Rail trial going on, would he then not have to answer the question?

Of course he would, but with the mock trial going on and probably lasting years he won`t have to answer that question until he is long gone!........

Robin Mathews is right, the trial is a farce......The trial has come about as a means to protect our corrupt premier, so what the hell, if Campbell is going into the B.C. hall of shame over BC Rail he might well blast us with the HST while he`s at it!......

Cat.tastrophy is a coming!

Talk about a political blogger`s dream, ex-premiers, 4 different parties, a delusional madman, a ruling party crumbling into bits, recalls, referendums, Goebells media, no one is driving the train, oh yea, we don`t have a train anymore but we do have many train executives on our Provincial payrole......

I was thinking about Campbell`s latest announcement, he will of course have to open the legislature to make it happen so don`t hold your breath......

A 2 cent per litre reduction in jet fuel on (International flights).....And a freezing of landing fees at YVR at 2010 rates......This move will cost the B.C. treasury about $18 to $20 million dollars per year, this according to Campbell is being done to attract more international carriers to YVR....

But...The money loss to the treasury is coming from..... from carriers that are already here, in other words we are giving away a secure steady stream of money from customers we already have.......Don`t get me wrong, I saw the story on the news, the price of international flights will not be reduced in price, and to be honest, 2 cents a litre break on the price of fuel is not going to attract new carriers, in fact we are losing carriers to Bellingham, way cheaper to fly out of Bellingham......
And there is that other little problem, the world is broke and tourism is flat and falling!

So theorectically all Campbell has done is give away $20 million to foreign carriers, a hole that the public will have to fill, why not offer the deal to airlines if they agree to come to YVR? Why give away the farm, the remaining carriers aren`t going anywhere!.......

And on a more fundamental basis........Why not give domestic carriers a break?...Why not give Canadians flying to Canadian cities a break?....

The HST, if you want to fly on a domestic airline from YVR to Heathrow, not only won`t you get the same break but....You are also paying the HST, there is no HST on international flights, so let me see if I got this right......

International flights will get a break on the fuel, Domestic flights won`t, international flights pay no HST but domestic flights will pay the HST.......Does Gordon Campbell really hate us that much?

Let`s take this a little further.......A big old jet flying across the Pacific ocean carrying a load of socialites and politicians don`t need to pay the carbon tax but little granny driving her saab has to pay a carbon tax.....A plane load of wealthy tourists are spared the carbon tax but Joe Lunch bucket has to pay a carbon tax at every fill up....

And Campbell wonders why we BCers are ready to assassinate him.........

Last week on the Bill Good show ......Bill had on a guest from Syncrude trust out of Alberta......I forget the guy`s name but.....He was talking about the importance of the Alberta TAR sands to Canada, and B.C......He was also advocating the Enbridge pipeline.......

But the most interesting thing this guy said was...."Heavy crude oil will be a major part of society for at least 4 more decades if not longer"....

And I don`t disagree with that statement.....But again, a few years ago when Campbell the Habitual liar was pollinating the green file.....

Campbell said..."Global warming is the biggest battle of our lives, we must sacrifice for the sake of future generations....The carbon tax is the equivelant of taking 400,000 cars off the road each year" snip......

Yet no cars have been taken off the road.........Campbell wants to push through Enbridge, lay waste to 35kilometers of land and destroy Fish Lake, have massive super tankers loaded with crude oil plying the most dangerous waters in the world, give airline flying around the world a free pass yet you....The little guy must pay a phony carbon tax!

Quickly on the HST.......Hansen and Campbell showed nothing but phony igdignation on the news tonight, oh the humanity, Vander Zalm used the phrase survivor, ....Zalm is treating a serious matter like a game show........

Who cares what Zalm calls the recall campaign, Deal or no deal...The Gong show, or Lets make a deal.....The name means nothing, you my friends can expect the Liberals to be all on message using the Game show comparison.....

Yet the only one who is childish are the BC Liberals...Rewrite deficit laws every year, gag laws, law suits, special prosecutors, before the courts, shredded emails, staffers all suffering dimensia, freedom of information gutted, documents completely whited out!....

And finally, I would like to share the little game McGuinty and Campbell are playing, the game their playing with your future....

Gordon Campbell used Ontario to justify all the latest pay raises to senior bueracrats and MLAs ...The excuse was....Ontario pays X dollars and we are losing all the talent to Ontario...We need competitive salaries to attract the best and the brightest(insert laughter here)....

Gordon Campbell played the game again with McGuinty`s HST......"We must adopt the HST to stay competitive with Ontario" snip ......

Yet, did McGuinty adopt the carbon tax like B.C. did?......Did Ontario copy BCs property transfer tax?.......Did Ontario lower their minimum wage to BCs $6 dollars per hour to remain competitive? Did BC raise minimum wage to $10.50 per hour like Ontario?......

You see folks, only when it came to raising politician`s salaries did Campbell roll out Ontario to assist.....Only when it came to a $2 billion dollar per year tax hit to the BC consumer did Campbell roll out Ontario to justify whacking the public!....

Yet the carbon tax, minimum wage, gas prices, liquor/smokes/ food/ user fees..... Gordon Campbell ignores Ontario with all of those taxing issues.....

Gordon Campbell is so demented, such an habitual liar, such an economy killer......The public, BCers from Oak Bay to the Peace river detest Campbell and will sign recall, I know it, you know, 85% of every BCer knows it....Campbell is a walking dead man....

There is only one segment of society holding up a bleeding, bruised and battered Gordon Campbell......Bill Good/CKNW/GLOBAL/CTV and Howe street......

The Story that Gordon Campbell ordered obliterated from Cyberspace.

"Fictitious' funds can`t rescue B.C. Budget

The Provincial government`s recent presentation of its revised budget in insulting.

Finance minister Colin Hansen announced Tuesday that British Columbia`s deficit for this fiscal year is now expected to come in at $1.4 billion -$335 million less than when the plan was tabled.

That much is good.

But then Hansen went on to invite taxpayers to tell him what to do with the government`s newly found "available dollars" for next year. Fund new services? Cut taxes? Reduce the debt?

THIS PART IS OUTRAGEOUS.

It doesn`t take an accountant to understand that these dollars are fictitious.

The province isn`t making more money than originally planned, it`s only borrowing less. There is not, in fact, any "extra" money available at all.

To treat the difference between the old projected deficit and the new projected deficit as cash is misleading and irresponsible- And doubly so coming from a Government that only just repealed its own law making deficits illegal.

Worse, to suggest that this discrepancy could be used to pay down debt crosses the line from ill-advised to ridiculous.

Since when can negative funds be used to cut debt?

Its nothing new for a government to use sleight-of-hand to buy votes, but to do so in such a blatant fashion is disrespectful.

Any voter with a credit card understands our province`s predicament very well.

No amount of silly rhetoric is going to change that.

If the B.C. Liberals want to gain the respect of the voters , they have to stop trying to CON them, and begin treating them as the thinking adults they are.

I read the HST story in the Vancouver Sun and Province newspaper, you know the story, Zalm`s recall surviver hit list....I spread the Burnaby Now scathing editorial link under the comment section of the story....And guess what....First the Vancouver Sun yanked the story, a few minutes later the Province yanked the story....The PAB was all over the Canwest comment section today...But thew link and Burnaby now story trumped them and made Hansen look like a fool!!!1....So someone ordered the stories pulled, the comment section was killing Hansen and Campbell...Recognize the enemy, the enemy are BC Liberals and Canwest Global/CTV and CKNW....We got these losers running scared folks...Don`t let up, Campbell and his party are finished!
