Three Stooge Stage Play Unplugged/ The Bloodletting

What a beautiful day, I love the rain, warm nourishing rain, as a child I loved to explore in the middle of downpours, collecting rocks was a particular passion, I would arrive home from school hours later completely soaked with handfuls of shiny rocks, you could only find the good ones when it rained, dust and loose dirt temporarily removed by the heavens revealed treasures and opened an inquisitive young mind, to this day the pitter patter song brings me warmth, have you ever listened to earth when it`s pouring......

As expected the Carole James/Bob Simpson squabble has gone viral, Shreck has spoken, Tieleman been yacking, Corky Evans, a few riding associations and today the three stooges on the cutting ledge(cknw) weighed in on the situation, and you know what folks, it was pouring rain and I already was feeling really good and when the stooges started their stage play my spirit rose even higher, let me give you an example, a few weeks back when the HST referendum was announced Dalton McGuinty made a public speech warning B.C.ers that Ontario will have a huge economic advantage over B.C. and we will lose zillions of jobs to Ontario if we reverse our position on the HST, ......That folks is what Dalton said, why would he say anything, why would a rival give economic advice to a competitor, does GM give FORD advice, what Mcuinty is worried about is B.C. dumping the HST and the economy improves, that and he wants company in the hated department........

The whole cutting ledge show today was about Carole James, and guess what, Palmer/Baldrey/Good were all defending Carole James, they claimed there are no rising NDP stars, the clowns went after Bob Simpson........You see folks this is where I read the Stooge`s plan, their marching orders, if you regular listeners to the show couldn`t sense the fear in Baldrey/Palmer and Good, the BC Liberals are freaked right out, the last thing Campbell wants is Carole James removed as leader....

In fact, Baldrey, Palmer have said on many occasions in the past and I quote "The best thing Gordon Campbell has going for him is that Carole James is leader of the NDP" SNIP....That is what they said on dozens of occassions and now with the BC Liberals swirling the toilet bowl a new strong NDP leader like......

The pit bull Mike Farnsworth.....Jenny Kwan, ruthless, passionate, strong, ......or my choice John Horgan, well respected ,concise, great speaker with out nagging and the right policy direction...There are a couple of other potential leaders but for now that doesn`t matter, I believe as do the vast majority of BCers that we wouldn`t have Campbell and the Liberals in government today if the NDP had a new leader, nothing personal but Carole James doesn`t inspire alot of faith, sides are being taken as we speak and unfortunate for Carole bcause she won`t win this battle and if anyone has doubts listen to today`s cutting ledge with Palmer, Baldrey and Good running to the defense of Carole James, their motives were clear, in fact the only other person the stooges sort of tried to promote as a successor to Carole was Gregor Robertson, now that`s funny, Gregor is no NDPer, he`s a Green guy, Gregor couldn`t get the nod as NDP leader even if he tried and anyone who has listened to CKNW over the last year, Cluck Cluck and Good have villified Gregor daily, most of it deserved......

The point I`m making is this, the stooges know who the new potential leaders of the NDP are, they chose to dismiss everyone except Gregor but preferred to defend Gordon Campbell`s best election asset(Carole James)

You watch my friends, Canwest Global and CKNW will defend Carole James and shun anyone who takes the leadership step against her, that is the PAB tactic, they already received their orders, DEFEND CAROLE JAMES AGAINST CHALLENGERS......

So that`s the deal folks, won`t work, we have the playbook and the NDP grassroots gave Carole James 2 cracks at the premier`s chair, she won`t get a third, man do I love the rain, the good news keeps coming....

The Millennium athletes village, the Malik brothers, Susan flip flop Anton, the white elephant, Bob Rennie, property taxes and the HST......Wow, is that a mouthful, I`ll be brief, first off, I am no fan of Gregor Robertson.....

The athlete`s village, what a boondoggle, shoddy work and over-priced.......The Malik`s have no money for their next payments without a bunch of sales.....Susan flip flop Anton said last week the key to selling the over-priced units was ...Susan said they needed to bring back the olympic excitement to that area, Susan suggested entertainment, crowds wandering around, buskers, yes folks, Susan Anton wants to have the olympic partiers returned to the athletes village for a street party, maybe our good friend the mad scientist Ross K would be interested, ....Silliness, how can anyone listen to Susan Anton...The Athletes village has a worldwide reputation already...STAY AWAY!!!!!...That is the reputation, no one is buying the units, in fact Larry Campbell who bought three pre-sale units wants out..The only way to sell them is to slash the price, but if the price gets slashed the Malik brothers won`t make the payments, there is no margin left....And that brings me to Bob Rennie, the ole Condo king, Bob Rennie can sell, he can sell at a loss if he has to and could care less because he`s a commission man, 5% of something is better than 5% of nothing...

Bob Rennie has some ideas to sell the units, Rennie calls them gimmicks, what I call them is laughable, Bob Rennie wants the Province to eat the HST on sales at the athletes village, Rennie wants the city to give new buyers municipal tax holidays on their purchases, Bob Rennie believes this will help sell the units...That is funny...Call it what it is Mr. Rennie, slash the price, the province can`t exempt the HST on a special development, I thought the HST is good, but you Mr. Rennie are saying the HST must go...Hmmm....And as for the property tax holidays, how much does that cost the city, what Bob Rennie is talking about folks is ......

A back-door taxpayer funded subsidy to the Malik brothers, if the units aren`t selling the Malek`s must slash prices, their loss, no buskers, no hst exemption, no property tax holiday, you want em sold, slash the price, no back door taxpayer subsidy to the Malik brothers!

And lastly, a special note to our super fan(rat).....I turned comments off and deleted your early junk, lets just say I returned my comment moderation off and invited you back in, I made the earlier mistake of deleting you before I looked at who you were, and you obliged and took the bait!....

Well super fan from Surrey, how was the cheese?...Now what fat, round, bitter little troll do we know who lives in Surrey and spews bile garbage?...I think our regular readers can figure it out, as for you, "revenge is a dish best served cold"

We have bigger fish to fry at this time, no time for tadpoles..

Let the NDP bloodletting begin!

Listened to Bill Boring today and I am gobbed-smacked by his tax'em all spiel. Good god, what is CORUS paying him? is he getting retainers from politicians? God knows because good old Jack Webster is spinning in his grave known that Bill Boring won an award with Webster's name on it!

His interview with Mayor Fassbender of Surrey was disturbing, in fact his whole show is disturbing - the Goebbels gambit full tilt!

Oh indeed Dr. Evil...Bill Good was cutting callers off left and right, Bill Good didn`t want his wealthy friends taxed with tolls on the sea to sky highway or tolls on the lions gate bridge..

And the cutting ledge, 1 hour 15 minutes, thay talked of only 1 subject, Carole James...

No BC Rail.no Kash Heed, no mention of the 45 minutes Gordon Campbell has purchased on Global TV for October27th..

And 1 caller wanted to talk Kash Heed and he was cut off til after the news, he never returned, the BC Liberals are in panick mode over NDP leadership revolt...All is good

I think your take on this is correct, sir. Ms. James must step down. I have nothing particular against her, but under her leadership there have been so many opportunities for the Opposition to seize on and yet they never seem to pick up the ball. I would love to see Mr. Horgan, Ms. Kwan, or Mr. Farnsworth leading the NDP; then we might see a real Opposition party. As to what we have now, I'm not sure. I would still vote NDP, but I am very disappointed in them of late. I sure miss Corky.

There is no way in hell that the taxpayer should be left bailing out "anyone" involved with these unsellable owelympic condos. Nobody better be forgiven taxes, HST, or whatever gimmick they come up with to sell of these units. If that happens I will be requesting the same treatment on my taxes, or whatever!! I'm sure the Malik's have more than enough $$. What's the old saying, you win some you lose some. So this time I guess they'll lose some.

It's was amusing listening to Keith Baldrey, Bill Good, and Vaughn Palmer on CKNW yesterday morning kissing Carole James' ass after spending years attacking her like a pack of prosecution lawyers.

This is todays Vancouver Sun article from Vaughn Palmer.

Why Carole James should stay as NDP's leader

BY VAUGHN PALMER, VANCOUVER SUN
OCTOBER 9, 2010

"If James were to resign, voluntarily or otherwise, the result would likely be a bitter, divisive contest, followed by the selection of a leader who might very well be no more acceptable to voters (and perhaps less so) than the likable, experienced James."

http://www.vancouversun.com/news/Opinion+Carole+James+should+stay+leader/3647212/story.html

Vaughn Palmer and the boys take their orders from Gordon Campbell and Gordon Campbell wants Carole James to stay right where she is.

Remember November 17, 2005?

Bill 17 - MLA Wages, Benefits and Pension Improvements

The bill was passed unanimously the legislature in 2 hours and with no public consultation.

The bill increased MLAs' wages by at least 15% and re-established a pension plan.

It was rammed through two days before BC's municipal elections.

Carole James went into Gordon Campbell’s office and behind closed doors colluded with him on Bill 17.

Carole James keeps talking about consulting with British Columbians but she got caught dipping into the honey jar with Pinocchio and backtracked only after public outrage.

Leadership should mean consulting with people before making major decisions and then defending them even if they are unpopular.

Gordon Campbell made her look like a fool when he went on TV and said:

"I thought we had a deal. She came to my office, I didn’t go to hers."

I will never forgive Carole James for that.

She lost twice in a row to Pinocchio.

That's why Vaughn Palmer and the rest of the MSM want her to stay.

They represent Gordon Campbell and Carole James is probably the only asset he still has.

Loved your description of West Coast rain ... yes, yes, yes I love the rain too. Where I'm living at the moment, people are mesmerized by the weather and rain to them means "a terrible day out." When I tell them I was born in the rain forest (OK, Vancouver General Hospital) and love the rain, it's a conversation stopper. Thanks for those memories of warm, dark, tree-blessing West Coast rain.

Grant, you ask: "why would a rival give economic advice to a competitor, does GM give FORD advice, what Mcuinty is worried about ... " I go back to a scene of Premier McGuinty when he was first elected -- he looked insecure and nervous -- and began to say how comfortable he felt with the other premiers, especially "Gord" Campbell from British Columbia. Dull thud.

Something else, as a sign of the times: some recent commenters to my blog are promoting the idea of stopping the BC Rail Political Corruption Trial because "it is costing too much". Well, all I can say is: "PABsters, nice try." Tossing the trial at this point is a guarantee of maximum expense for almost no benefit ... and this, just as we're beginning to win ... to gain an insight into how Gordo's Gang lost our railway.

If not actual taxpayer-funded PABsters, these commenters are working for Gordo's Gang and I'm sure that burying the BC Rail Political Corruption Trial right now, would make him very happy indeed.

Ross K...Maybe you could get some commission if you can sing and strum some sale`s towards the Malik`s...Although you may have to dumb it down a bit to appeal to "That class of marks!"

As for Vaughn Palmer, you bet he`s defending Carole in his Saturday column...What can I say, Canwest stooges and CKNW have their marching orders, "defend Carole James"

When I say I have the PAB instructions, when I say I`m privy to Campbell`s strategy I mean it...

I have impeccable sources in both legislative camps, and who knows what information I might be receiving from Sean Leslie`s wife(who works for the PAB)

Who knows who is leaking me the plans...Besides me and my shadow...

All is good folks,

Cheers

I'm beginning to wonder whos side your on Grant. lol. I continue to wonder why you never consider writing anything on that gross legistative reporter Tom Fletcher. He is one of the biggest Korsikoffs Kampbell supporters writing in BC today. A little more on him to persuade this reader PLEASE !!!

Carole James, shot herself in the foot, when she removed Bob Simpson. That is going to really cost her. Campbell calling out his defense for her, is so sick, because, he professed his dislike of Carole James. However, we know of Campbell's strategy, it is underhanded, as is everything, that Campbell and Hansen do. Campbell isn't a Liberal, he works for Harper, they have a very cozy relationship. So, the BC Conservatives are out. The BC Liberals, are despised by 90% of the BC citizens, they are useless. The NDP, has made some very bad decisions, that are going to cost them dearly. So, there are the Greens, who will gain, because of Carole James. We also have the Independents. Then, there is the, BC First Party. They had better, get up and running very soon. I think, Alberta has the best idea, for the west to separate from the east. It is said, the west would be, 40% better off. The west's taxes would stay in the west. BC's HST goes directly to Harper. BC is a province of natural resources. There will be no benefits, from the, HST for the BC people, what-so-ever. It was designed, for big business, and big business only. Where are all the jobs, the HST promised? Where are the savings, the BC citizens were to have? All the HST has done, is to drive prices sky high. My costs are much higher now. This coming winter, will see a lot of evictions, and utility cut offs. However, BC is the most corrupt province, in all of Canada. Campbell, Hansen and the BC Liberals, are the most corrupt governing officials, ever known, in this country. They are a bunch of, despicable sewer rats.

Yesterday, on Money Talks, the premiers Fraser Institute meat puppet brother, was describing how our pensions funds are invested in large corporations. He then argued that we can't be against the HST since it saves these big companies money, which helps our pensions.
This implies that we should drop all corporate taxes and fees, as well as environmental restrictions, since they adversely affect profits. What a shallow twit.

I have yet to see my pensions go up in line with the cost of living. They go up but when it costs you an extra $20 per month and the pension goes up$2 something is sure as hell wrong in River City.

Carol James a dear and wonderful lady please step down as leader of the ndp your too nice this province operates in open corruption from the premiers office on down we need a blood and guts leader who isnt going to mince words or be nice grrrrr! or take prisoners, I was so dissapointed to read of the rift with James/Simpson we need more people speaking out, dont dismiss them!!! we need those in the know to crawl out from your comfy rock and start telling the people what we have lost forver in this province, when I think of those gas bag execs from the phoney bc rail line taking millions in trips perks and payouts on our dime while extended care homes closed around the province does anyone remember those awful stories of elderly couples being split up granny sent to a bed in a region far far away families given 24 hrs notice hospitals closing sorry no money we are told.
My blood is boiling I just read a letter to the editor in the t/c about how great its been the last 9 years and why should we ditch the libs over a mere tax ..oh yea??? for whom other than the well connected and the better connected is it better for? Id better start hanging around with a better class of the well connected to maybe finally get a chance at feeling how great it is here but so far in 9 years I have yet to feel the glow so to speak..And your pension will go up if you are a cabinet member in bc in our non existant legislature wouldnt that make a lovely casino but Im sure campbell has already thought of that

Gordon Campbell is offically out to lunch. How on earth does he think that anyone would want to listen to him anymore? To buy airtime on Global? Laughable.

Sorry Annon...I couldn`t ley your comment through, I will have no AGT promotion here, as for his Suzanne Anton bike assault story..

So AGT pulls a bat and attacks a defenseless bike rider,..That`s AGT for you, big man with a bat because he can`t fight with his hands in mutual combat, I hope the bike rider sues him for assault with a deadly weapon.....

As for bikes or bike riders hurting cars,I believe statistics will show that cars kill thousands of bike riders every year...

Of course his whole story is probably fiction, no bike rider to sue him if the story never happened, but if it did, bring on the assault charge against AGT

"Of course his whole story is probably fiction"

You are probably right. And sorry about the agt link - I won't do that again. I don't know why I go there myself it just pisses me off.

We Canadians are now being warned, there is a food crisis. We will have to pay a lot more for our groceries. All around the globe, there have been failed crops. Countries, are now hoarding their food crops. Just before the BC HST came in, food costs, already went sky high, rents were raised, insurances, raised their fees. Thanks to Campbell and Hansen, our hydro, is going way up. Harper, Campbell and Hansen, have some nasty pollution plans, for BC, so heads up everyone. Read Rafe Mairs, the Common Sense Canadian, he has very good articles, on the underhanded methods, of pollution that will greatly harm our province, and destroy our eco system. There have been deformed fish, out of the Athabasca Lake. They have also found, oil in the mighty Athabasca River. The Athabasca watershed, is contaminated. This pollution, is from the dirty tar sands, in Alberta. Read Rafe people, he has the best information. As far as, the Sun and The Province newspapers, I don't even bother buying them anymore. I couldn't even get, the first two lines read, before I threw the paper down in disgust.
