Perplexed...Why wasn't Trump arrested days after his failed coup attempt...That has bothered me, more than enough evidence to convict him 10 times over..

Arrest Trump right after the coup attempt and lock Trump up....They didn't because they feared making Donald J Trump a Martyr.

And in thinking about it....They made the right decision.

They must use facts, passion and solemn words to destroy Trumpism.

BC Hydro-Corrupt, Incompetent and Dirty Fucking Liars

  Been kinda busy lately, caring for my 87 year old mother in her Burnaby home, and boy oh boy do I have some stories to tell, the utter incompetence of Fraser Health and Burnaby Hospital...

Mom ended up in Burnaby hospital in November of 2020..She had a UTI, and Burnaby Hospital had a fire while she was there

And boy did they fuck up.....Got a phone call from a Doctor Lee, he told me my mom was ready to come home in a couple of days...I said great, but then, I never heard anything from Burnaby hospital for 3 days, I kept calling trying to find out when she was coming home, I finally did get ahold of Doctor Lee again(visitors at that time were not allowed to visit patients, even family members because of covid)I asked Doctor Lee what's going on, you told me my mom was near ready to come home..

He told me my mom was dying, probably only a day or two left to live, I freaked out, I said to the doctor, what the hell happened, you told me she was near ready to come home and days later you tell me she is ready to die, and I can't even visit her....To which doctor Lee said..."you can come see her, you'll have to gown up and mask up"....I went there the next morning(earliest I could go)gowned up and went into her room, mom was laying flat on the bed, her lungs were gurgling, her OWN bipap breathing machine was on her face(Mom's Bipap life support travels with her as Burnaby hospital will not allow her to use their bipap machines in ICU)....I heard no air coming out of her bipap, I took the mask off and it wasn't running....I freaked out on the staff, ordered the nurse to increase her lasex and told them they put a mask on her face with no fucking air coming out of it.....I tilted mom's bed up so her chest was elevated and I turned on her bipap...I found doctor Lee in the ward and told him he's a fucking moron, doesn't know what he's doing and to keep away from my mom or else.....I told the nurse to have resident doctor Kathleen Kwan take over....Mom was near death, I was holding back tears...I left to make room for sister siblings waiting to see their dying mom....

I went home, and, I called my friend Steve at Clinical Sleep Solutions in North Vancouver, why did I call him? Because, what they didn't know at Burnaby Hospital, what Doctor Lee didn't know is that my mom's $4000.00 bipap breathing machine sends out real-time data to Steve at the sleep clinic, I asked Steve to download all the data from her bibpap for the last month to current....Steve called me back an hour later, he said something is terribly wrong....I said, send me the data....

The three weeks of data before she went into the hospital mom was averaging 12 hours of bipap time per day..which is about right, 10 hours at night and a couple of hours per day in naps, I know because I put the mask on her...In one week at Burnaby hospital, seven days, ...Mom had a total of 4 hours and 10 minutes of Bipap time, for the last week in Burnaby Hospital....What the fuck is going on!!!!..

I printed off the data, two copies of all the data, went to Burnaby Hospital, threw the data/paperwork, two copies on the nurses desk and said...What the fuck have you people done, you trying to kill my mom...Told them about the data, gave two copies, one for Dr. Kwan, and one copy for Burnaby hospital's legal department.

Burnaby hospital had no answers for me, they blamed the machine....I still have the machine, no repairs, and mom is at home, using the same bipap machine.

It was still touch and go, Dr. Kwan, after I persisted, allowed mom to come home to die...

Mom was enemic, weak, and near death.....but I got her home...I told my sisters that, i'm not sure if I can save her this time...

She came home on a Saturday, got fluids in her, got her bipap on and.....And the next day she was a little better...Within a week, after some home bloodwork done by Lifelabs,  her family doctor Sundeep Grewal was amazed..He called me with the bloodwork results and told me, it's like she had a complete blood transfusion..

So, we have Covid pandemic, I did have care-aids coming to the house before she went to the hospital and after..However, with Covid raging and care aids who were not vaccinated I cancelled all care aid help...I'll do it all myself..

During the previous 3 years I had care aids to do peri-care a couple of times a day, and, during those years mom was at the hospital 2 to 3 times per year, always for infections....My mom, when she has a infection coming on, UTI etc etc etc...there is no warning signs, what happens is...She starts to shiver and within 2 hours of shivering she shuts down can't eat, drink or respond...At the hospital they run intravenous antibiotics as mom can't swallow pills...and sure as day turns to night within 10 hours mom comes back to life..

Since i've taken over her care, no care-aids mom has not returned to Burnaby hospital and I have standby antibiotics for pre-emptive use for potential UTI...I've had to give her those anti-biotics on 2 occasions when a UTI was coming on....I also got mom the Purewick external catheter system to keep her bottom dry....Now the deep butt wound Burnaby Hospital gave her healed up...4 years Fraser Health and care aids couldn't get her butt wound to heal, a wound that she got years earlier AT Burnaby Hospital, because they don't change elderly patients, they leave them in soiled underwear for days at a time...This IS FACT..(Purewick system I get from Red Leaf Medical in Ontario)

By the way...UTI kill seniors by the 1000s...If Fraser health got rid of internal catheters and used the purewick system they would save a ton of money and 1000s of live...Internal catheters are bacteria factories...Purewick is easy and my mom is dry 24/7

My mom, she can't walk...Heart problems, sleep apnea, nerve problems, breathing problems...in mom's Burnaby home we have...Hospital bed..Bipap..Oxygen concentrator and a patient lift...in other words, my mom is a shut-in and requires me to do everything, and I do..

If I listened to Fraser Health/Burnaby hospital doctors my mom would have been dead 5 years ago..

Mom has shallow breathing, and she's heavy, ....5 years ago, mom was at Burnaby hospital...her CO gasses were high, she wasn't blowing it off while sleeping(with CPAP)...When CO gasses rise, people become lethargic, delusional, sleepy...This happened, off to the ICU and put on Bipap in ICU...her gasses return to normal and she's fine..

What happened at that time, a Dr. Ahmad at Burnaby hospital ICU....I told Ahmad that mom needs her own bipap, and I can't buy one without a doctors order..Ahmad refused, said she didn't need it...I argued with him, he blew me off, 6 months go by and mom was back at ICU for the same thing...I asked Dr. Kwan for a letter so I could purchase a bipap, Dr. Kathleen Kwan gave me the letter...And I bought the new bipap while mom was at Burnaby ICU on their big bipap machine...And, as I found out later, they really increased her water pill dosage...

So, I brought the new bipap to the ICU, they set it up...and, I got a phone call. Burnaby hospital staffers and Dr. Ahmad wanted a "family meeting" to discuss mom's impending demise..

In this meeting, Doctor Ahmad told me my mom had run out of time, Dr Ahmad said the bipap machine i brought for her didn't reduce her blood gasses, and my mom would never come off the hospital high-powered bipap and mom couldn't stay in the ICU...I left the meeting in tears...however, I didn't leave the hospital, I went back to the ICU and asked mom's nurse for a list of all the meds and dose strength they were giving her...I got the list, left, went home and hit the computer..

The Water pills, in the dosage they were giving her...In bright bold warnings, beware of electrolyte losses with high doses of lasex(water pills)....hmm, then I researched the symptoms of electrolyte deficiency in seniors...Drowsiness, delusional, sleepy, non-responsive....

What bothered me was...Mom was fine the day before she went to the hospital at that time, how could she go from fine to dead?

That family meeting to tell me my mom was a goner...I didn't accept Dr. Ahmad's assertions..

Instead I went to the ICU, asked mom's nurse to give me a list of all the meds they were giving her and in what dosages....Then I did research and...

Returned that night to the ICU and managed to get my mom to drink a cup of Hydrate me, a high-powered electrolyte drink I bought at the drugstore..

I didn't know if it would help or not..Next morning I went to the ICU and..lo n behold mom's nurse said..Hey, she's alert this morning and eating...Hmmm, i told the staff nothing, gave mom more Hydrate me juice, and twice per day, morning and night for the next two days and my mom was now rocking....I then told mom's ICU nurse that...Since mom is alert and eating have your respiratory nurse try again with the home bipap machine i bought...and lo n behold..a few days of using her own bipap machine in ICU her blood gasses remained normal and I got her home..

Suffice to say...If I was a follower, a rube, a believer of doctors mom was dead years ago...Like I said, that was almost 5 years ago....Dr. Ahmad is another unqualified doctor..

Anyway, what does this have to do with BC Hydro?

I do all my mom's banking and online bill paying...

On June 29th I shipped $300 dollars to Mom's BC Hydro account(so I thought).....

Let's stop for a minute...My mom has had a BC Hydro account for over 40 years at her Burnaby home, she also had a BC Hydro account for a place on the Sunshine coast...That account is dead..however, on mom's banking bill payments section..Her Burnaby hydro account..right below it is the Sunshine coast defunct account number, I mistakenly sent $300 to the defunct account...

What happened next....August 24th..2021..12 noon..Power goes out...WTF...I check with neighbor, they have power..Call BC Hydro and they tell me the power has been disconnected because there is a $148.22 balance...I was freaking out..Mom's catheter shuts down, her oxygen machine shuts down..bed won't work, her special electric medical seating chair won't work..

I tell BC Hydro..hook up the power now, you're killing my mom...I have emergency portable oxygen for her...I made arrangements to pay this balance and they agreed to to restart the "smart meter"...This was 1 pm in the afternoon..Hours went by..no power, i called and called, talked to supervisors..all I got was bullshit nothing..I called 911...they blew me off, I called Burnaby RCMP, they blew me off..I called again to BC Hydro, another so-called supervisor...He told me..They tried to remotely turn on the smart meter and the connection failed...??? They did that at 3:03 pm....Then I was told that they'll have to send someone to the home the next day to replace the defective smart meter...(I've since learned that tens of thousands of defective smart meters need to be replaced every year and that if they shut them off there's a 1/3 chance they don't turn on...requiring a replacement)....and, the people who replace these dud smart meters they only work until 4:00 pm daily...in other words, I was told nobody was coming that day...I freaked out again, I told them at 1:00 pm that this is a emergency and they shut down my mom's medical equipment..

I kept calling BC hydro...Mom was getting really bad...I called again just before 8:00 PM that night (I was on my way to home depot to buy a $700 dollar generator, cords and gas)...The last so-called supervisor said he'll send someone that night for sure...Anyway, 9:00 pm a big BC Hydro boom truck shows up, the guy gets out, I ask him if he has a new smart meter, he did...He said he had to wait for a partner to show up, he did minutes later, another big boom truck...These weren't smart meter replacers these were after hours linemen...Why they sent two is beyond me...They came down the path, 2 minutes later the meter was replaced and power returned..

However....BC Hydro was prepared to blow me off until the next day, they didn't even inform me that no one was coming out that August 24th day...

And more...My mom has been at her Burnaby address for over 40 years..She's always paid her bill...To cut someone's power off for $148.00???? When BC Hydro knows there's a 30% chance they can't turn the smart meter back on..They cut the power off at 12 noon..and they didn't even try to start it up until 3:03 pm, even though I made arrangements to get them this money before 1:00 pm that day...And BC Hydro knows that the people they have (in little cars) that replace their fucking over-priced junk smart meters quit at 4:00pm...That almost guarantees the people BC Hydro bludgeons with their smart meters are without power until the following day...How many people has BC Hydro killed, how many cut-off during the heat-dome we had?

What we have here folks is BC Hydro using smart meters as a weapon...BC Hydro drowning in debt from the purchase of smart meters, Gordon Campbell's highway(ratepayer robbery)robbery on run of river 30/40/50/60 years contracts at well above $100 dollars per megawatt hour and of course the $18 billion and counting Site C dam boondoggle..

BC Hydro is drowning in debt..And this is what the BC Liberals did to them, and now Horgan too by proceeding with Site C...Won't be long before BC Hydro will need a bailout, or sold to the private sector..

I filed claim against BC Hydro for emotional and physical damages...

9 days after this event a woman from BC Hydro called me to tell me that the $300 dollars I sent to the defunct account(by my error) on June 29th will be applied to the upcoming bill due on September 15th

Read that last paragraph again......So, what we have here is...Mom did NOT have $148.22 overdue balance..Mom actually had a $152.88 credit towards that September 15th bill?????BC Hydro had the money in their account..and yes, I fucked up, but come on..You cut-off power from a 40 plus year account-holder for $148.00 balance...

That brings me to today, September 10/2021...

A BC Hydro supervisor phoned me today and told me my claim for damages has been denied, that BC Hydro can cut power off to any account for as little as $30 dollars owing...I said are you for fucking real..I then told this fucking liar from BC Hydro that mom actually had overpaid and actually had a credit of $152.00 dollars...Although it was sent mistakenly to a defunct hydro account...

Then what happened was absolutely disgusting, this mouth-clown at BC Hydro made up a lie on the fly out of whole clothe..he said and I quote

"Oh no, that $300 dollars was applied to the last bill, you were cutoff for owing $448.00"

I called him out on his bullshit, told him that a BC Hydro staffer called me last week, 9 days after this event that my mom's upcoming bill has been credited the $300 dollars I sent to mom's defunct account..

He argued with me....I called him a fucking godamn liar and to be prepared for this story, the one i'm writing here...and I can prove you are a fucking liar..

I hung up on the BC Hydro lying conman flunkie..

What did I do next?

I called BC Hydro..asked for all mom's account information, I was told(today by a regular frontline BC Hydro phone person that)....The upcoming, due on September 15th bill is $127.27...and that $300 dollars had been applied to it, without that $300 dollar credit the bill would have been $427.27....And to be clear..When the power was restored at 9:00 pm August 24th I went online and sent them the $148.22 amount they wanted(I was still unaware of the payment mistake I made)..That's why mom's account was not credited $152.88 but $300 dollars...And that $300 dollar credit towards the next bill was made by BC Hydro on September 2/2021...9 days after the power was cut on August 24th...

Was that clear enough...When this BC Hydro manager/supervisor who called me today, he was not aware that mom was not overdue...When I mentioned it to him he scrambled, he made up a lie out of whole cloth....BC Hydro didn't find that $300 dollars until September 2....mom's BC Hydro bill is roughly $500 to $600 dollars every 2 months...So how the fuck does mom have a $127.27 bill coming due September 15th/2021 when air conditioner was on, all her medical equipment on..

How the fuck, as that BC Hydro liar told me today that mom was really cut-off for owing $448.22 and they applied the $300 dollars to bring it down to the $148.22.....When BC Hydro phoned me on September 2nd 2021 and told they found this $300 dollars and are applying to the upcoming bill due on September 15th 

Caught BC Hydro's asshat supervisor making up a fucking lie.. His lie came about when I informed him of the June 29th $300 dollars sent to the defunct account(in mom's name)...He sputtered and squeaked and made up the lie to somehow justify BC Hydro using smart meter to bludgeon my mom's power..

I then told the BC Hydro asshat that this story is going public..

A little more...When I told this BC Hydro asshat today that i'm going public with my story, going to Bruce Ralston, calling Horgan, Palmer, Mackin and others and you will regret blowing me off, denying my claim of damages and lying your face off...... he said to me...and I quote

"Oh, so you won't mind if the media contacts us that we tell our side of the story"...

I laughed and told this motherfycker, do you think the public will have sympathy for BC Hydro..

A little more, there's a bigger story behind the scenes that BC Hydro doesn't want the public to know..

The Smart meters are defective, tens of thousands of defective smart meters need replacing every year and that they know there's a 30% chance these meters once they turn them off remotely they can't be turned back on...In other words..BC Hydro has fucked many a customer, ..BC hydro is drowning in debt, BC Hydro cannot turn off people's meter when they know they can't get power restored that same day..

My mom, she's been in her Burnaby home for over 40 years..The bill has always been paid...Where is any respect, where is BC Hydro's humanity...

They have none, and now they have paid liars to try and tamp down BC Hydro horror stories..

World holds its collective breath, five more days and this predictable travesty ends, and end it will, Donald Trump has unwittingly unleashed a new powerful force, a force that threatens not only the survival of the Republican party but also the make-up and direction of the Democratic party.

Change or be changed.

      There was a time, in the not too distant past when politicians deliberately lied or found themselves embroiled in scandal they would resign but gradually over the last two decades that tradition of falling on one's sword was replaced with non-plausible denials and utter bafflegab, along with near unanimous subservient obedience from party members, in other words, when it comes to their own, no stench is too overpowering.

The Predictable Travesty

     Donald Trump becoming president was the result of an electorate and party faithful on both sides of the aisle that allowed it, no more would politicians be punished for lying so why not lie twenty thousand times in less than four years, corrupt every government office and pollute Democracy at it's core, name-call everyone and demean, divide while looting wherever possible..

The carnival barker Donald Trump was given a free pass on corruption and malfeasance by a Republican party devoid of any ethics, or spines....

And now, Trump is gone, a Joe Biden presidency, along with an increased majority in the House of Representatives and control of the Senate, all three branches of the US Government controlled by the Democratic Party....There will be no excuses, Joe Biden, Pelosi and Schumer can now pass all their legislation, reform the tax code and make the rich and corporate pay, make real strides towards renewable power and clean tech, and....and its long overdue for the "Tax Havenesque Corporate Sector" to pay..

    Trump can't change, can't alter course or become human, even when he knows that he is way behind in the polls, a massive deficit among woman, in Arizona the other day at a Trump Super-Spreader rally he called up to the stage struggling to hold onto her senate seat Senator Martha McSally....And Donald Trump called her like one would call a dog..."hurry up, quick quick quick, nobody wants to hear you" 

The display by Trump was ghastly...The acceptance of the treatment by Martha was even more ghastly...Only a person who sold their soul to the devil would have went on that stage after being scuttled by Trump....I would love to have seen Martha McSally yell to the "infectious" crowd, something like...Hey Arizona, i'll always work hard to deliver good government to the people of Arizona and the nation so go out and vote....and then see Martha just before exiting the stage say....Fuck you Trump while giving him the middle finger(Dare to dream)...

 Martha McSally had nothing to lose, Trump is going down and she could perhaps have saved her own skin and seat...Now they both lose and unfortunately for Martha McSally, she'll have to live that canine moment forever..

This Will Get Better

     Easter, a religious time, a time for atonement, celebration and prayers, prayers for a future that's better.

I'm not religious, nether was my dad, yet, my father could cite biblical verse and passages like someone trained and or schooled in the preisthood, because he was, his dad, my grandfather was a religious zealot and every Sunday made my father attend church, dad was also required to read scripture every night at home....This my dad tolerated, until, until he got old enough to say no..

This story is not a slight against religion, my dad was a free spirit, logical, smart and not easily led astray, this of course led to friction between him and his dad....Decades later my dad told me the reasons he rejected religion, he felt too many in the flock were mindless sheep, sheep who were told how to act, how to treat others and even worse, instructed as to how to think... What dear church leader thinks must be copied and strictly adhered to.....For my dad....He and the church parted ways yet verse and scripture remained ingrained..

Dad never told me at the time(I was young) but in thinking back to decades ago, and how he explained religion to me as an adult I know now he struggled early on with his decision to abandon the church..When dad's children(including me) were young he took us(dropped us off) at Sunday school for a mild dabble into religion.....perhaps he was wondering internally if it was himself only that had issues with religion...Dad never disparaged the church to us kids when we were at that tender age, with me, Dad let me attend Sunday School...only in my later years did I put it all together...

I didn't attend Sunday School for long......Dad asked me what I thought about it, Sunday School that is and I answered him honestly..Told him it was silly, boring and not real....Sunday School was quickly replaced with fishing...For me and dad, that was as real(reel) as it gets...

As mentioned above, this story, these thoughts are not a slight against religion, it is however, a slight against mindlessness, a slight against worshiping false idols, a slight against religious zealots who praise pure evil heathens as long as those heathens deliver unto them..

Many have asked why I stopped writing, stopped fighting for what's right, my answer is simple, with the election of Donald Trump, Justin Trudeau, leftwing,rightwing governments matter not, there is currently no difference and...Until Donald Trump gets removed from power the world will not get better.

Donald Trump....He is NOT RELIGIOUS at all, not one scintilla of faith lives within him..nothing, yet Trump tells the Christian flock that he is....Donald Trump, the racist, Trump the rapist, adulterer, many times married, Donald Trump who has deliberately bankrupted thousands of small contractors/workers, a conman man through and through...Trump did that because he could, over money, for Donald the Dim, court battles be his name, over 4000 lawsuits...Trump's motto, let them sue and sue and sue some more until they exhaust all their financial resources and settle for pennies on the dollar..

I mentioned ingrained scripture, particular chapters and verse as to my dad...To this day, Donald Trump when cornered couldn't cite a single passage from the bible..

Pandemic scourge spreads wildly through earth's billions of inhabitants....mother nature finds a way to reduce population growth run amok, we see it all the time with animals and corralled fish ..it has to, the planet is finite and as for myself personally,...I have no right to tell a woman what she can or can't do with her own body...my only wish is that a lot of thought is put into a woman's decision and that the procedure is as safe as possible..

Restricting woman, owning woman, like cattle....Religion needs a rethink, needs to open up and air out their skeleton filled closets and allow the sun to burn off the virus that's existed in religion for far too long..

Donald Trump will be removed in November and then, with luck, and perhaps with prayer the world will move progressively forward....Call it lessons learned...

      Oil demand has fallen by a staggering 16 million barrels per day, terrible right?.... no, not at all, it's the future, it's progress, albeit progress at a terrible cost.

I'm not afraid to die, but, this pandemic scares the hell out of me, I fear for my mother because it will kill her and fear that it will kill your mother, father, grandparents and millions more and there is nothing anyone can do to ease this terror, and that's what it is, terror, worse than war, a terror nobody has seen since 1918....The Spanish Flu...and despite the name, the Spanish Flu originated in Kansas.

Having personally suffered pulmonary embolisms, where breathing is laboured, when coughed up phlegm comes in the form of chunks of blood, disturbing to say the least but even worse then the pain is the fear factor, each laboured breath sends one's mind reeling to thoughts of a last breath..

Millions of older people, or those with risk factors, lung disease, heart disease, diabetes, immune deficiencies and so many more afflictions see the carnage on near every TV channel and there is no escaping the reality...A dry cough, a fever and for many, a few hours later lungs are fluid soaked water bags, the fluid is caused by the human body fighting back against the virus, unfortunately the body's attack is too aggressive and the result is drowning in one's own fluid.

 That's where Intubation and ventilators are required, give the patient life giving air through mechanical means long enough that the body can clean itself out....Ventilators mean life.

Being a caregiver to my last parent, my mom, I fiercely practice social distancing, fear of bringing this uninvited black menace home but I do go out to get mom's medical supplies, prescriptions, and yes food, and upon my return I reflect on the disturbing scenes....empty store shelves, hoarders gone wild, even where we purchase mom's medical supplies the war profiteers have struck..no gloves, no cleaners, no pads, and masks, good luck finding masks of any kind, the profiteers loot the stores of stock, even per person limits don't suffice because...Because entire families, one at a time or nefarious groups enter the stores as individuals over and over again to circumvent rules, circumvent decency, my words can't describe my thoughts....

When I do go to Safeway, or Regency Medical, Shoppers Drug Mart besides getting a few items there is something else I do, i'll spend a half hour or so watching from the safety of my truck...what am I watching..people...and it's amazing, hoarders, profiteers, the reckless and those that are sick and how they try to conceal it, but the one's that interest me the most are those in the vulnerable group, fear oozes from them....A bullet to the head is quick......Intubation, ventilator and probable death thoughts occupy their minds slowly and methodically, you can see the fear and there is nothing one can say, or do to soothe their souls...Knowing this I go out of my way, even with social distancing one can still smile at people, that's what I do, smile at these troubled souls and try to exude a sense of calm....even though inside, I too am terrified...

Societal Breakdown.....We are at a crossroad, mankind either makes fundamental changes or else, or else government structures of the past will be removed for a new progressive order.

Governments are cranking up printings presses, pixel money is being created at record speed, big banks, creditcard companies will not be permitted to swoop in and seize assets from distressed persons, not this time, and the wealthy elites know it, there is no safety behind their iron shields, gated communities, Hampton castles and private islands will not keep an enraged public from seeking their revenge.

Trillions of pixel dollars being created out of thin air, backstopped by nothing, the world debt crisis had already reached the absurd before this beast arrived, these trillions will never be paid back, unsustainable debt levels...The world is on the verge of, and should claim bankruptcy...So many countries yet only a few can print pixel money, that is unfair, unworkable not equitable..

The day has arrived, endless supply increases of fossil fuels, Alberta politicians of all persuasions need to acknowledge this fact and exit that dead-end road..Trudeau needs to accept the futility of TMX...America, once a new president is elected, or one is appointed by an angered mob must abandon the frack...The earth is angry, the 99% are angry and promises spouted by elected idiots to quickly return to normal will not suffice because the old normal was already fucked,

Species extinction must stop, deforestation must end, sustainability needs to be the path forward..

By the time this pandemic is finished $30 to $40 trillion pixel dollars will have been made out of thin air, all in an effort to return to the fucked up old normal...Just imagine if $40 trillion pixel dollars was allocated to bring clean renewable power to the world, to create hydrogen fuel cells, to clean up orphan wells, to clean up Alberta's toxic nightmare...to restore forests, wetlands, to save animal, marine and plant species worldwide...monies need to be spent to preserve what nature gifted us.

Planet Earth sent this pandemic, call it a shot across the bow or a stern warning, endless expansion cannot be sustained, the world is finite and industries of the past will never return to levels of yesterday..Cruise ship industry will decline, airline travel will fall and the oil industry just took the on-ramp to the Buggy Whip Highway.

There is a silver lining.....The old fucked up normal is gone.

Time to do it right.

        March 27/2020......Coronavirus is hideous, a virus that smothers one's ability to breathe, attacks the heart and leaves permanent damage on those that survive....even worse, it strikes deep fear in the aged, the already frail and there are millions of people in North America alone that fall into the vulnerable category.

A cloud of fear hangs like thick ocean fog over our entire world.


Warnings, the world had warnings in movie form, by the CDC and WHO, by health professionals around the globe....A drum beat of warnings, decades long warnings that we were not prepared for a pandemic, but here we are..

There were other warnings ignored, warnings that the government even in the midst of this current crisis refuses to acknowledge,....Economic warnings...Most people can't afford to lose even a few weeks pay without falling into financial ruin...

Governments responded to this disaster, indeed they did...First the US Fed offered Wallstreet $1.5 Trillion dollars, then they lowered interest rates for banks and Corporations to 0%....Then the world's bankers, including Canada, Europe, China offered up another $trillion for the big-boys and in this latest $2 trillion dollar rescue package making its way through the US House of Congress is another $500 billion for corporate grants...yes I said grants...Boeing alone is asking for $60 billion...and they aren't alone..Bailouts?... after Corporate North America spent hundreds of $billions in tax breaks to buy-back their own stocks, increase corporate CEO pay, and juice the stock markets to way over inflated levels....

The people are given crumbs....Creditcards have not lowered interest rates for people...Prime lending rates for people remain unchanged...Those two items alone would help out average Joe and Jane far more than short term temporary handout(weeks away and nothing for pensioners or disabled)..and nothing for millions more.

The economy....It will bounce back if, and only if the people have money to spend when these stay in place orders/requests end...it makes no sense to even consider corporate bailouts(Socialism has suddenly become very popular among those rightwing corporate governments who scream hell-no to Socialism, eh Trump) until a semblance of normalcy..

Bailouts for the oil and gas industry? Why.....Does government bailout the people when oil goes to $100 dollars per barrel, when big oil is making huge $dollars hand over fist, and when the oil price spikes and profiteering wins the day, does big oil put money away for a rainy day..no, they merely whisper poverty and governments jump to attention....over and over again, ....Hello Alberta, and it didn't, and doesn't matter if Conservative or advertised as left leaning governments are in power, ..eh Horgan, eh Rachel Norley..eh Trudeau, eh Harper..it matters not.

There are silver linings to this pandemic but are we as a people prepared to actually acknowledge them and move forward with making the changes, will governments change course and allow progress or will the monied interests of the very few keep us in the dark ages..

Tele meeting, ...Tele working...$billions of dollars wasted every year flying politicos to gabfests, G20..G7..on all levels of government..not needed...Giant 7000 person floating petri dishes(cruise industry)....That industry will not recover, nor should it, before Coronavirus these ships were notorious for Ecoli, Norovirus and many other gastronomical breakouts..Both the airline and cruise industry want endless expansion...This can't happen...yet, that's how the money markets operate, if company X doesn't grow their value plunges, it's that dichomity that is unsustainable.

Planet Earth and all its inhabitants...When animal populations, fish populations get to large famine or disease attacks, farmed salmon is a perfect example, too many fish crowded into pens, lice, disease and mushy fish..even worse, these toxic practices destroy natural salmon...Norway, Chile and here in B.C.....Humankind is no different, eventually growth must cease and stability or less must rule the day. Unfortunately stock markets don't operate that way, money markets force growth, but that isn't sustainable..

More silver linings, the air is cleaner, sky is bluer, noticeably positive changes are already happening in the world's atmosphere...This short little blip of time decrease in economic activity has benefited the earth, and given science a chance to study the effects....and from what i've read, the earth atmosphere responds to the good rather quickly to reductions in emissions but the big question is,  will our elected leaders acknowledge this fact or will they stick their collective heads firmly up corporate asses....From what i've seen and witnessed over the last month, corporate asses are still the preferred nesting areas for today's elected politicians..

An endless growth paradigm is not sustainable

With the earth's population growing exponentially, with air travel increasing, with all 4 corners of the earth merely hours and a flight away, there will be another pandemic, maybe sooner than we think.....It's time for a rethink of everything...

Lastly......

Many have asked me why I gone a little silent, stopped writing...Simple answer is..

With today's elected politicians...Donald Trump...Justin Trudeau..John Horgan, Jason kenney and even Rachel Notley before him.

They aren't listening, they won't change course and there is no difference who is in power...Here in Canada specifically, ...Andrew Weaver(Green) contributed nothing...John Horgan(liar), outside of a few social issues is no better than the corporate branded BC Liberals, and as for Trudeau, well, you know where he nests(TMX) ...where they all nest....

SNC-Lavalin: The Tip Of An Enormous “Deep State” Iceberg.

 SNC-Lavalin, the large Canadian engineering firm at the center of the present Liberal government crisis engendered by the treatment of former Attorney General/Minister of Justice and Minister of Veterans Affairs, Jody Wilson-Raybould, is merely the tip of an enormous iceberg.

The gyrations of SNC-Lavalin to have a law passed (obscurely in a Liberal “Omnibus” Bill in 2018) that permits it (and giant firms like it) to write “deferred prosecution agreements” (in what is called a “remediation regime”) may be seen as nothing more than another private/corporate attack on the Rule of Law … supported by the present Canadian (Liberal) government in power.

That government, I suggest, is acknowledging the growing reality of A Regime For The Very Rich Outside The Law … and a law for us, the unimportant others.  The move should be seen, I suggest, as a full-scale attack on the Rule of Law in Canada.

In briefest words: the kinds of agreement (already at work in some other Western nations) permit wrong-doers to escape criminal conviction by paying large sums of money and “repenting” their sins ! ! !  (Remember that Fraud Charges may  normally occur in such matters, pointing to fairly long jail sentences for individuals, real people involved in the criminal charges normally set in motion.)  The Remediation Regime works to erase that possibility completely … so that individuals are never guilty of criminal acts!

Might the process be seen as the bribery of governments by ‘wink-wink-nudge-nudge’‘friends’ who – anyway (as with SNC-Lavalin) give large sums to the Party that has become the government in power?  Might the process be seen as the actual codification of the separation of powerful (Deep State) organizations from the Rule of Law in national jurisdictions? The answer is, probably, “YES”.

Canadians should observe the huge consideration that was given to SNC-Lavalin through the whole process.  The Corporation sought and received dozens and dozens of meetings [“more than 50 times”, Globe and Mail, A-11, Mar.1, 2019] with MP’s, cabinet ministers … over months and months to – in effect – move huge Private Corporations outside The Rule of Law while claiming they are merely assisting in a change in the application of The Rule of Law.

And then … And then … SNC–Lavalin appears to have used more lobbyist meetings in order to have Liberal ‘sympathizers’ (including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau) pressure the Attorney General of Canada to impose a deferred prosecution agreement against the decision of the Prosecutor’s Office.

In that regard, the highest Civil Servant in Canada – supposedly clean of political coloring – Michael Wernick, the Clerk of the Privy Council, entered the fray on behalf of SNC-Lavalin in attempts to force the hand of Jody Wilson-Raybould.  As an important member of a council much misunderstood – the Canadian Privy Council to the Queen of Canada(not to the Queen of the United Kingdom), and as highest Civil Servant (the actively non-political arm of government servants) Michael Wernick – like some grubby hack-lobbyist – debased the position of Clerk of the Privy Council and of all Canadian Civil Servants, many will say, and should resign immediately to restore the confidence Canadians have in their historically admirable body of Civil Servants.

If huge bribes are necessary to get contracts in some foreign countries which act outside The Rule of Law, then … SNC-Lavalin and the Liberal Party of Canada seem to be saying … ‘don’t work to bring those countries under The Rule of Law.  Instead, degrade Canada to their level of criminal behaviour as the normal state of “doing business”’.

That is a fact of present government (and Deep State criminal influence) in the Western World  that must be stopped in its tracks. That is the nine-tenths of the SNC-Lavalin Iceberg out-of-sight. That is, quite simply, the smoke-and-mirrors effort to con Canadians into thinking the removal of large corporations in Canada from the Rule of Law is, in fact, bringing them through special recognition into full relation to the Rule of Law! !

The tendency across the Western World (notably in Europe) is towards the creation of apparently democratic neo-liberal governments … which not long ago in history were called “proto-fascist” governments.  Whatever their apparent focus – national or international – their basic loyalty was and is to big Capital; their basic intention is to release great wealth from the restriction of the Rule of Law, their basic goal is to create a New World Order characterized by domination of a Deep State over all of the rest of life: human, ecological, spatial….

Canadians are indebted to Jody Wilson-Raybould and her integrity … bringing to the attention of the population not only the shabby values of the PM and PMO and of the Clerk of the Privy Council, Michael Wernick … but also the destructive and possibly highly criminal actions of large corporations in league with a Canadian government to pervert and/or by-pass The Rule of Law in Canada.

The “deferred prosecution” legislation for large corporations must be erased from Canadian legislation.  Which Party will promise that in the coming election??

        Sometimes even slushy wet snow can send one's mind to drift, to times of youth, to times with family...

    Friday morning, too much unexpected snow, with regular visitors and a long steep path down to the house snow-clearing was a must, yikes, even cleared and salted the snow overwhelms....

4 inches of snow between morning and noon, enough to keep me hopping then it stops in a blink, an early year Sun is fast approaching and as I write this piece earth's life-giving planet warmer beams a blast of soothing warmth,  sitting, typing with an open window facing the glow and suddenly thoughts go adrift....Sounds of heavy fresh snow dropping and dripping like thick heavy syrup, everything is a thaw, water runs, ozone fills my lungs and thoughts fill my mind..

as a boy with feet and shoes soaked, trudging and sludging in a snow world suddenly turned to slush and mush...I see familiar streets, see friends, see family clear as today only the scenes aren't today they're memories, triggered memories brought on by heavy watery snow trying to outrun our sun's warm glow...futile in February...

Something else happened today, Canada's NEB(national Energy Board) once again approved the TMX pipeline and that was expected but even so, to be fair the NEB approved it with a much more somber tone than the first time..

  Memories of a boy fishing with dad flood my mind, Summer, Spring, Fall and Winter when fresh warm snow needs to be cleared from a boat beckoning to take a pair of one fishing, fishing in the Sun's warm embrace, it's there, ahead, it awaits in a fast approaching golden horizon.....

Rod, reel, father and son in calm life-filled waters...in pursuit of a wild salmon for dinner, plentiful bounty for all, including many Winter Spring Salmon to feed a hungry pod of Southern Killer Whales...The Orca.

These magnificent creatures are very fussy eaters, they're not fond of Chum Salmon, Coho or even Sockeye, it's Spring Salmon they want, and need, these big Salmon are also known as Chinook Salmon, they grow the largest, in some cases exceeding a 100 lbs plus....However, those giant Salmon are now rare...Chinook Salmon in the 20 to 50 pound range are the New norm..

I've written before of my joyous fishing escapades with my best friend, my departed dad...So many days drift fishing, so many stories of success, and failure, i've also written about the decline of all marine species, my once bountiful watery front yard is a mere shadow of itself, run after run of Wild Salmon are no more, each individual British Columbia river had it's own Salmon, same species but unique to each individual river.....Massive 100 lb plus Salmon that once returned in big numbers to Rivers Inlet...Why that particular river had such giant Salmon is somewhat of a mystery, a good fishing friend who was raised near that River Eden tells me the Salmon there were so large because of the River gravel, very large gravel, thus only the biggest and strongest of the returning Salmon could spawn....Weaker Salmon got weeded out..

Those Salmon runs are gone...Northern Coho Salmon runs, gone, so many individual runs have vanished, wiped out by bad commercial fishing practices, bad logging and industrial activity..and it's not just the Salmon that are vanishing, lingcod, Rockfish and most ocean bottom dwellers in steep decline, all now so scarce, even our once vast kelp forests have shrunken to near nothing..

I haven't fished lately and to be honest the last few times I fished more were released than kept..

The Blackfish, the mighty Southern Killer Whale...Orca are starving, it's bad enough with industry activity taking more and more from our environment but to see and hear of Orca starving to death makes me cry....Yes, some Salmon runs in bigger rivers still at times produce healthy returns but, Sockeye and Chum Salmon won't suffice, either will evasive escaped farmed Atlantic Salmon...Another deathblow to BC's Wild Salmon...

Howe Sound once so plentiful with Salmon, now barren, the beautiful Sunshine Coast had so many Coho, in my youth there were times when literally walls of Coho Salmon passed, so abundant you could look in the ocean and see schools of Coho zipping past....Herring spawns, black-cod, hake and sharks aplenty...Those abundant glory days have long since passed....and the decline continues everyday, year after year there are fewer fish, fewer species, less kelp....less life.

Corporate pocketed governments allowed hideous fishfarms to poison our waters, with all the mounting evidence.... even our current NDP government sits on their hands..punting any meaningful restorative action years into the future to a time when those governing now will be long gone, and we can't wait the Orca can't wait, they're are starving...Toxic disease laden evasive farmed Atlantic Salmon being reared in waters where they don't belong...Wild Salmon in Norway, extinct, Wild Salmon off South America's ocean have suffered the same decimation due to Farmed Atlantic Salmon...Lice filled open nets, a dead wasted ocean bottom underneath each and every Salmon farm....And still our elected leaders sit on their lobbyist greased hands..

My lifetime is only part way done, yet in that short period of time our British Columbia Oceans are near dead...

I mentioned the NEB announced that they believe the TMX tarsand bitumen pipeline is in the National interest even though, with a somber tone that GHG emissions will rise and more hardship will befall the once mighty and already struggling for life Orca whale...

Justin Trudeau with his warm smile promotes, promises and insists that this pipeline is needed to fight climate change, even with thousands of scientists from a myriad of angles all telling us that we have 12 years to stop this fossil fuel suicide or it will be too late to do anything....Yet Justin Trudeau smiles and grins and blusters that a carbon tax will make Earth's climate all better....Yet sane minds, my mind can't be strangled into believing a massive increase in tarsand bitumen tankers to service a monstrosity pipeline for the next 40 years can do anything but harm even more...

The NEB also mused about the potential, albeit not guaranteed bitumen tanker-spill and how it would be  "Catastrophic" to BC's coastline....I'm not alone in believing that a large spill in our southern waters will be the final death-knell for not only the Orca but for our wild Salmon too..

How many land animals have become extinct over the last 20 years, how many birds species, fish species have vanished and how on earth can any ethical government look me, or look any of earth's inhabitants in the eye and say a bitumen pipeline's economic benefits outweigh a Species right to exist..

My gawd Justin Trudeau, do you not feel do you not bleed not think about preserving life, preserving unique species, for once intelligent emotional family protecting Orca are gone can Mankind itself be very far behind..

The needs of many species outweigh the needs of the few, or the one, man.....

Canada doesn't need this destructive project, we will survive as a nation, Alberta will persevere, a future vision, a new direction will present itself we only need to open our eyes open our minds and embrace the Sun's warm energetic embrace..

Man's answer warms our planet everyday, enough energy filters down from the skies above to run everything...

We have no more time...there is no world oil shortage, we aren't saving future generations from a energy freeze by not shipping targoop to Asia...

My Dad isn't gone he lives within me, guiding me prodding me demanding I speak up demanding we search out and elect a real leader who won't govern for the next political term but govern wisely for generations not yet born,,,,

Justin Trudeau is not that leader......either is Rachel Notley, Jason Kenney or John Horgan....


If only we could hear the Orca's voice......Therein lies the answer....
