Take a Load off Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman

I was brought to tears watching today's J6 hearing...

It wasn't Brad Raffensberg or Rusty Bowers testimony that welled up my eyes it was Ruby Freeman and especially her daughter Shaye Moss as they told the story about how two proud, American, patriotic and black beauties had their lives torn asunder by a lying conman named Donald Trump.

Shaye Moss entered the chamber with her mother Ruby Freeman in tow..

They sat at the witness table in front of the committee, a visibly nervous Shaye Moss initially struggled with the on/off switch on the microphone, as procedures demand that the switch is turned off when listening and on when talking..Someone nearby eventually just turned on the microphone and left the microphone on...That was an appropriate move.

The J6 panel played some clips of Trump calling Shaye and Ruby out, tweets from Trump  criminally accusing both of them with horrific election changing crimes.

The panel, Adam Schiff asked Shaye how this affected her life..

Shaye told her story, how she was forced to leave her home, go into hiding...she went on to say that even today, she's a shut-in, gained 60 pounds..Doesn't leave her home..Shaye talked about how she was bombarded with death threats and now lives in fear of near everybody she doesn't know.

But before she spoke of her current nightmare she spoke eloquently albeit nervously how proud she was to work for Fulton county as an election worker for 10 years...How she went out of her way to assist older person of colour who in their living memory weren't allowed to vote..She beamed, briefly in speaking how she brought applications to vote to a hospital bound person..

Her testimony was devastating, heartfelt and sadly, patriotic...Shaye Moss, the only child of her mother Ruby Freeman(ironic, Ruby's last name being Freeman...Trump took away both Ruby's and Shaye's freedom) was telling how guilty she felt, guilty because her mom Ruby Freeman was not an election worker but a volunteer, Shaye was feeling personally guilty for asking her mom to volunteer, and how this simple act ruined not only her life but her elderly mom's life too..

It was a moment for the ages

Ruby Freeman, Shaye's mom didn't testify live but the J6 panel had taped statements and testimony from Ruby, those Ruby statements stirred my inner emotions..

Ruby Freeman spoke of how she taught her daughter Shaye to do the right thing, she told her story too..How she was forced to go into hiding, how she was a small business owner in the unique clothing business..She told the story of how she was known as "lady Ruby" and had shirts of all colours with that statement on it, she was an older woman who was proud of her local accomplishments ...She hasn't worn the shirts since Donald Trump put a target on her and her daughter..

Both Ruby's and Shaye's testimony revealed so much more...How both of them became vilified and outcasts in their own towns..

Shaye Moss told how she wasn't a big Facebook user but did have an account, she didn't even know how the messaging feature worked, when she was asked to check it, and shown how...The messages were vile, racist and more..

Shaye Moss also testified how alarmed she was that the president of the USA, the most powerful political person in the world brought down the wrath of his supporters upon her and her mom...

A clearly nervous Shaye Moss's testimony was earth-shattering....A lowly election worker(I don't mean any ill by that statement, just highlighting how low Trump was to target her, or any election worker) and her volunteer mom targeted by the president, targeted by Donald Trump...

The J6 panel aired excerpts from the infamous Trump call to Brad Raffensberger.....Trump in that phone call called Ruby Freeman " A hustler, a vote scammer" and worse..

Maga, Rudy Giuliani and other Trump terrorists also claimed Ruby, in the State Farm video passed her daughter Shaye a USB stick...When the panel asked what her mom handed her in the video...She answered.."a ginger mint"

Shaye Moss and her mom Ruby Freeman are two beautiful souls with patriotic hearts, two proud black Americans who today won my inner soul..And that's not easy.

I wish you all the best Ruby and Shaye, I hope your lives return to normal and pray that wealth, health and respect find you.....You both deserve it.

PS....CNN late Tuesday ran a Shaye Moss article too....Seems they agree with my analysis on her testimony..
