We get all the risk and no reward.
Who might the investors be. It is a lie, just like the lie about HST not even being on the radar, just like the lie about BC Rail not being for sale, just like the lie about public hydro not being privatized, just like all the other lies the lying liberals have told just before each and every election for the past 13 years. Let`s not forget giving away the power from Kemano either - so a private foreign company can sell it at a profit to California while we here in BC are stuck with higher prices for power because the liberals carved out mountains and over 500 rivers as a sort of cheap gift to largely foreign power companies.
Make no mistake, if Lucky Luciano handed over the reigns of the mob to Bugsy Siegal it would still be a crime family. Hell, Christie was the family mouthpiece for all those years on the radio and now she wants to distance herself from what is essentially her own party. It gets pretty unreal what a person has to believe to keep voting for the liberal party.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2435367521078186829.post-81033824872353394312013-03-08T07:46:39.695-08:002013-03-08T07:46:39.695-08:00If they want this bloody thing so bad, maybe they ...If they want this bloody thing so bad, maybe they should build on the BC/Alta border, less environmental damage, then maybe we'll take a look whether it really is helpful to BC.
NO PIPLINE, NO ENBRIDGE THROUGH BCAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2435367521078186829.post-24077647315379779612013-03-08T07:45:02.055-08:002013-03-08T07:45:02.055-08:00This whole sorted affair reminds me of that commer...This whole sorted affair reminds me of that commercial on tv. You know the guy (advisor) who says trust me, invest your money with me. We'll look after you. I think this whole refinery talk is like that advisor in the commercial.

Then you have the "investors" just who they are no one knows. And we, the people of this province will be indebted even further to who? Nobody knows. To what? Higher prices oth in gasoline and natural gas. And, it'll take what 7 years to build? Sorry, I don't believe a word of it. And the bitumen will flow over thousands and thousands of kilometers crossing rivers, streams, forests, wildlife habitat. First leak will cause irreparable damage. This government is playing with the stock market on this one. (Isn't that what Gordo's brother is involved in? And I'm sure Gordo has "huge" shares riding on this too.
And then there's Enbridge which the citizens of this province have spoken and continue to say, No Pipeline. So, imo, this is all a bunch of BS and not worth the paper it's written on. Never mind we don't want it. Ther is far too much at risk. I personally don't want to be involved with the stock market at this point in time. The risks are too great. Much condensate is being produced nearby to use for diluent. Only practical choice or as you say smoke and mirrors to get NG built instead. A domestic refinery will lower prices for residents and would be totally unacceptable. Same reason oil can't flow east. Market control first and foremost. Same reason LNG isn't available to BC Residents. cfvuanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2435367521078186829.post-52458871593829886652013-03-07T22:36:50.061-08:002013-03-07T22:36:50.061-08:00Mr. Black's dream is suspicious.
This proposal...Mr. Black's dream is suspicious.
This proposal will only last until the green light is given for the pipeline. Aperson would be a fool to believe otherwise.
Why not refine in Alberta? Because that would ruin the whole thing, the reason is for the pipeline to get built not this ficticious refiney.
This is a scam of the highest order!Don F.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2435367521078186829.post-8522309205539577802013-03-07T19:21:05.914-08:002013-03-07T19:21:05.914-08:00OMG Grant, the msm 'black press and all the r...OMG Grant, the msm 'black press and all the rest' have floated this bullshit idea to steer us away from the things that really count.
